this is what i plan on doing.easiest and most effective way would be you hang the plant in mist, lol.

@Rootsruler so if this is right, over 24 hours of aerating a solution from 6mg it would increase to 30mg""The DO level of a gallon of tap water aerated with an airstone will depend on a number of factors, including the temperature of the water, the size of the airstone, and the amount of time that the water is aerated.
However, in general, you can expect the DO level to increase by 1-2 mg/L for every hour of aeration.
For example, if you start with a gallon of tap water with a DO level of 6 mg/L, and you aerate it with an airstone for 1 hour, you can expect the DO level to increase to 8 mg/L.""
then youre limited to atmo oxygeneasiest and most effective way would be you hang the plant in mist, lol.

im just trying to figure the best/easiest way to suspend the plants.this is what i plan on doing.
Is there a threshold where too much O makes it toxic to the plant?@Rootsruler so if this is right, over 24 hours of aerating a solution from 6mg it would increase to 30mg
ill verify once i get a DO probe lol
What you're describing is aero/fog ponics..........im just trying to figure the best/easiest way to suspend the plants.
could maybe choke em out in a clothes line like figuration lol
but i was also thinking about a lattice structure.

fogponics would be the delivery method for the nutrients and water, open to atmo oxygenWhat you're describing is aero/fog ponics..........
well i think moe got to atleast 90mg/l of DO if im not mistaken, and if not higher. Is there a threshold where too much O makes it toxic to the plant?
Awesome! I would venture to guess that even with a large airstone and surface agitation it would be difficult to get it as high as Moe in an ambient setting so nothing to worry about on that front.well i think moe got to atleast 90mg/l of DO if im not mistaken, and if not higher.
id suspect to a point obviously but whether that point is even achievable or realistic or needed, idk.
im looking into it

I do this every feed. Also “shoot” nutes into water with syringe to make air jet bubbles into mix. No idea if it helps but I’ve always done it."Aeration: This is the most effective way to increase the DO level in water. It can be done by pouring the water back and forth between two containers, using an aerator, or by creating waterfalls or other areas of turbulence."

The response I keep trying to give isnt as open-shutI do this every feed. Also “shoot” nutes into water with syringe to make air jet bubbles into mix. No idea if it helps but I’ve always done it.

that im not sure id have to research moreI’m aware. But one does what one can with what one has.
I wondered if adding h202 to sitting water before or after adding nutes would help, damage, or do nothing before adding to soil.
For all I know the act of pouring onto the medium is enough to allow any added o2 to gas off. Or adding h2o2 to nutes has undesired effects I haven’t considered yet.
I’ve wondered about this since GNick noted he added h2o2 to water he pops seeds in.

This "cornbread mafia" type sent his in rockwool cubes, wetted and wrapped in paper towel moist when I opened it after a trip down the Mississippi snail mail! In a baggie too. Bags hold moisture. SSyea seems to work easily in a sammy bag just not too many in one
Just took in about 6 more tomatoes, 4 string beans, and two peppers. Nice to see they do well in the tent..needed more light.
Thx ViperSpidar.
Lol
Let's see
If I wasn't so tired I'd put all my available lights in here just to see how bright
Maybe tomorrow, fuck around and find out
Teehee
Well if that one crooked ass fan.
I've yet to grow many veggies but peppers seem to do decentJust took in about 6 more tomatoes, 4 string beans, and two peppers. Nice to see they do well in the tent.
What have you found to be the best veggies for indoor winter grows?
I have not tried yet with any other media besides water.Do you run airstones?
got a little air pump going right now on a seed i just started in a collar floating in waterDo you run airstones?
I’ve started most veggies in the side zones before moving outside.I've yet to grow many veggies but peppers seem to do decent
I was growing some cucumbers but they like to lay down lol
Definitely lettuce and basils are ez.
any microgreen should be simple indoors probably.
I plan on growing more veggies soon but I wanted an outdoor space for it
You try a little h2o2 in water for seed? I added it for my last seedling. Popped in a day or two as normal so idk if it helps but GNick says he does it so I try it now and then.got a little air pump going right now on a seed i just started in a collar floating in water

Forgot to mention I was use 34% solution at 3-5ml per gallon every watering.Checkin in on ya bro, I use h2o2 in a cocktail glass 3% peroxide is fine, two caps is all I usually use for that size container. Cheers bro! SS
CoolAlso found a place, been throwing shit away and starting to pack up
Should be able to move in the next day or two or so
Thanks appreciate itCool
Glad that’s coming together. Moving sucks but a new place is usually a nice change. And you get to plan out your space to crap ratio.
How’s the shrooms coming? Might have missed any new posts due to data/lag.
Hope the move goes smoothly. Best of luck on your new home.![]()
