Zen_seeker’s DIY Mixmash

Congrats on the win buddy.one of these days you will have to stop telling people you don't know how to grow.🤣😅😂
And thank you for the seeds sir. 👍

I need to find a better way to send you some. One damaged is annoying but half…that’s a piss off. So far you’re the only one but I’m sure it’ll happen again if I don’t improve my methods.

Wonder if I can get little containers at the dollar store? 🤔

Washer I had to rig up a few years ago when the controller board mucked up. They no longer made replacement parts.

Now a few weeks/months back the dryer belt broke and again, no one had the part. 😡

So screw Samsung. Phones, TVs, and now home appliances. Won’t be buying from them again.

I have Viking or GE in the garage. Top loader but still worked fine. Loaned it to family for a while but they say they returned it working. I hope so. I’ll be trying them next.

Son was home in time to carry out the door with me. The rest I did myself. Anger power 💪😤

Just a few lights out pics. Feeding in a few minutes when lights come on.

Considering everything is still in one gallon pots I’m happy it’s doing so well.

I feed every two/three days. 1.5L each, then 1L each the next. So far so good. Still using Botanicare Kind Trio.

20241103: Day 69F

Purple Diesel that was stuck outside rather than tossing.IMG_1293.jpegIMG_1294.jpegIMG_1295.jpeg

We just keep covering at night.

Our old dryer was cleaned a few times then put in place for testing. Seems good. Washer we’ll do tomorrow. It’s already out of the garage.IMG_1299.jpeg

Still hasn’t rained enough to test the roof/chimney patch.

Need to get everything ready for the meeting with the city as well.

Always fun when important things stack up demanding your time equally.

20241111: Day 42F W6

SL - Fading better than before but still faster than I liked. I thought it was a P issue but G$ though more calcium. Think he’s right.IMG_1392.jpegIMG_1387.jpeg

JB - Doing well but tip burn.IMG_1388.jpegIMG_1389.jpeg

HB - Also doing well but I need to trim. Bit of burn on her too.IMG_1390.jpegIMG_1391.jpeg

Rather than a normal feed I gave them all 1/4gal 0-50-30 FFBB & 8ml ProCal which has calcium.

Knee jerk reaction but after G$ assessment maybe I get lucky. He also warned too much CalMag/ProCal can cause lockout. 5ml is what it recommends.

Lowered light to 30000 LUX which matches the Photontek at 50%.

Dealing with multiple strains is definitely tricky when trying to feed them all the same. Plus my charts only go to W9 and that’s flush. So I wing it. Week 9 is rarely when most strains I’ve tried are ready.

Usually takes two or three grows of each strain before I know how to get it to finish better. Guess that’s the bonus of clones.

A top grower said here one time, " if you're not burning your tips you're not trying hard enough.. looking good. Still some outside stuff in November....in Canada...gotta love it.....

I could have had a crop outside this year, our fall was spectacular. with little rain, no fog, warm right through the 1st week of November but that's a one off out of 30 years here I can maybe remember 1 other like this fall. Its just not worth the aggravation.

Thanks PC. Too many distractions but tip burn I can live with. Got to watch the calcium in the future.

We’ve had warm weather up to January off/on for years now. I didn’t grow then but road my motorcycle to work as often as I could until snow stays.

Don’t remember snow in October since I was a kid. Since then even November has become more of a rainy cold month than snowy.

I can live with that. 👍

The little PD outside gets a few more days.

20241112: Day 43F W7

Nothing special today. Just fed and trimmed some fan leaves. Spun the JB around for better light, only one without a yo-yo.

Gave them a trim, HB will need more but I want to see how things got a day or two. Give her a rest too. I have high hopes for her but she’s got to be ready.

SL is doing amazing, for me anyway, this time. Turning the light down to 30,000 LUX has helped I think. That’s the same as 50% on the Photontek. We’ll see about that later. Changing the feed I don’t expect to see results for a few days. So far only the tops of HB & JB have burn. Just 6-8 inches down is just tip burn. SL was least bothered this time. Still the only one fading but at a much slower rate than last time. I’m basically letting her grow out and spread like a tomato plant. Every bend taking it further out.

On one side HB & SL are doing fine sharing space. Same with JB on the right side.

Getting there. Happy with the frost this time round. Just hope I don’t have to move her, not turning down the light any further unless they all have an issue.

Leave them alone for a few days. See how HB does now that she’s shaped a bit and turned 45*. The rest are done.
