15 solo cups and no-veg

Well that one is just being a bitch and is light shy. Maybe try to move it to the lowest light are of the tent? Or a shade cloth over it? Or just leave it and punish it for being a bitch
I moved her to the corner and gonna let her ride. Thanks for the info, I ran a blueberry muffin that did this I didn’t know at the time it was the light. I see guys posting their light at 100% and I think I should be there too. I don’t think this light has even been past 60%. Did I buy too big of a light for a 2x4? It’s a Spider Farmer G4500 460W.

For a 3x3? Or 4x4?

See you only need the light power in flower. Hardly at all in veg.

I have that in a 2x4, am I killing a mosquito with a shotgun type situation?

150-600watts is probably about all a 2x4 needs.

I appreciate you guys helping dial things in and un-teaching all the bad info I’ve absorbed over the past couple years 🫣. I have raised my light and dimmed it to 500 PAR and the plants are looking and responding better. I also took my feedings down to .6 EC and have maintained an outflow of .8-.9 EC and holy shit does that save on nutrients!
Going back to lighting, with 12 hours of light at 500 umol/m2 puts me at 21.60 for my DLI, isn’t that way under target or is this more bad information I have absorbed?

She is still light stressed but at least she’s facing towards the sky now. I was not expecting the stretch to be like it was with the Khalifa Kush, guess is the OG kush stretch I’ve heard about, they are the tallest plants in the tent.

Really excited for these Haunted Bananas, they have been the easiest plant to grow, heavy feedings, light feedings, intense light, heavy dry backs these ladies stay pretty and don’t skip a beat!
IMG_7675.jpeg

The one little bushy one yellowing on the lower leaves looks like I had a lockout issue going on, once I lowered EC and upped my run off by 5% it made a turn around and the new growth looks much healthier. I know the next run will be all the same cultivar instead of multiples.

Give em time to recover and dial in then you will increase the light. Always go by the plants.

As they recover they are to need a bit higher amount of nutrients. What ratios are you feeding?

Probably around 1.2 EC but much will depend on the nutrients you are using

I am about half that right at .6 EC and the outflow is .2-.3 higher, should I start walking it back up? I’m using Lotus Cal-mag, bloom and boost I also treat my water with H202 before mixing. My state uses chloramine in the water instead of chlorine. So bubbling and leaving it sit does nothing to break it down.

Chloramine is not worry it’s probably around 1 ppm and the max by law is 4ppm.

You may need to feed more volume or more often if you are seeing ppm com out that much higher but it still not too bad.

25-35 DLI, up to 60 with co2

Approximate

Probably still some salts left in between media pores , from when you were running a higher e.c

Successfully seeded the Gelato a I’m grateful it did this one is on Elev8’s retired roster. I kept an eye on the pollen sacs until they just started to open and pulled them off, sprinkled the pollen out of the sac itself onto the flowers. I made sure to cut off the branch I reversed to not contaminate any of the others in the tent.

Well...fucking new guy mistake #116. I was watering this morning and was looking at the buds and I saw a seed in one of the flowers, of a plant I did not pollinate :cautious:. After examining the rest of the plants I found 3 of the plants have a seed here and there on the lower branches at the same height as the Gelato I reversed. Lesson learned, selfing is a one plant, one tent situation going forward. I will keep the accidental crosses, grow them out someday and see whats what.

What am I doing wrong here guys?

Temp: highs 80-81F lows 67-69F
Rh: 45-50%
EC: .6
Ph: 6.2 - 6.4
PPFD: 580

The Haunted Bananas and Frequency Shifts look like this. The rest of the cultivars look fine.

I did use a PPFD meter and I was around 700 so I lowered it 580 today. I did some reading and watched a few Migro breakdowns and I didn’t realize I had a V8 in a ford focus. 16 inches above canopy at 38%

Can you reduce nitrogen and keep other nutrients proper?
The clawing, dark green, and tip burn say lower nitrogen first.
No pro just learning still myself.
Is your outflow still a little higher than .6?

Yes I can and I did last night with the new nutrient batch. It’s the sativa leaning plants only that look like this, is that common for sativas not to like nitrogen in flower? This is my first time growing anything sativa. I’m not sure I completely dig the Lotus line of nutrients either, I think I may give Crop Salts a try.

Yea Sativa's are slow low feeders usually.
Sort of like how they grow.
I have never tried the Lotus but @GrumpAzz and @SSHZ are both using it I think. Maybe even @GoodShit97 ?

Not me, I'm using Athena and the FF bloom booster trio you gave me. So far Athena seems like good stuff. Extremely terpy this grow

This is my 5th run with Lotus, I seem always to hit my snags this time in flower. Is this a sign it’s a lack of experience on my end? My plants are pretty until week 6ish then they get ugly. 😒

I do this with my nutes also all too often.
Wish I could offer a little help with that but I am still experimenting also.

I think I’m sold on trying Crop Salts, the reviews and YouTube reviews make it sound like it’s set it and forget it and the ratios stay the same the entirety of the grow.

5.4-6.0 pH

Clawing is usually nitrogen related

Ratio is probably off and Need more potassium too

Also 45-50 rh @ 80f, vpd is "whacky"

I just checked my vpd today.

79°f and 50% rh, puts me at like 1.5 in late flower.
First time ever vpd has been pretty on point through the grow and what a difference in plant health.
