so wait, you get your orders shipped from greenpoint one at a time? i ordered all those seeds on different orders throughout the weekend, i thnk i started on friday and was still making orders on sunday night. monday comes around and they put them all in one package and sent them, but they were all different order numbers.

It's the calm before the storm right now.
Bitter sweet though because after today it's all football and watching all the Nascar's Greatest Races I have on DVR and whatever is on Flo in regards to late model and outlaws.
Texas is in the thick of it in college playoff talks so it's nice to have something to play for this year heading into the end of the regular season. Won an OT thriller yesterday to keep hope alive. That will keep me going then before you know it February is here and we do it all over again!
I saw that 45 and was like WTF is that? I think it's a Tie Fighter! Then I look again and found myself on 23/XI's site to see WTH all this is about.
Bubba has a star wars scheme too and I saw a pic of him in his fire suit made to look like an X wing fighter pilot! Matching helmet too just like Lukes!
So I guess Bubba is rebel and Tyler is Empire. I only saw the back of Tyler's fire suit and it looks like he's a tie fighter pilot. I guess they saved the best paint schemes for last! I'll be on diecast alert for those two rides for sure even though one is Bubba.
Yeah GPS has always sent my seeds days apart from each other but I think it's mostly because I often forget to add my order number to my payment. When I do, they ship the next day but when I forget then they ship in 2-5 days.
Good luck today Buddy! I think it's between the 5 and 12 but 24 also looks strong! Can't decide if I'll stream it on Peacock or watch on NBC but I do know I'm craving fajitas for the race!!!
I think we'll be in for a helluva race! Trucks were nuts Friday night and NXS was pretty good. I gotta feeling the 4 might win today then it'll be between 5 and 12 for the championship. We'll see here in a few hours!!!

I’m not into watching racing much. Liked doing it but just can’t stay still and watch.
But reading how you guys have passion and do the models and follow the stats…kind of gets me into it a bit. I’ll never be a fan but I’ve been to a half dozen Toronto Indy races. Stopped going when first Steam whistle and then another worse beer hosted. First time I’ve walked away from a beer I paid for after one sip. But I digress.
Just cool to read these once in a while and get into it a bit. Once in a while it even makes my news and I get your highlights on it too.

2 years ago I bought tix to a NASCAR race at Circuit of the Americas. We have this thing about trying new things and like stuff like monster trucks so figured why not. Never been to one before and what I knew on TV was kinda boring and not my thing but it was a close to where I live so why not check it out.
As the race grew closer I almost backed out and sold my tix thinking I probably wouldn't like it. But I knew Stoney was a huge fan so there must be something to it so why not?
When the sounds and smells hit me it was such a rush. A true high without drugs. I was amazed and hooked after that and go to every race I can now. I plan my vacations around racing now too.
I've been mostly into football all my life but racing gave me something else I felt I'd been missing my whole life. It made me feel like a kid again while football comes with a ton of stress especially with it being my occupation.
Racing just changed me and made me a much happier person somehow. What I thought was boring before became insane fun. The craziness of everything and how they're pros but still fuck up like amateurs every weekend is nuts. And while I have my favorite drivers and teams who rarely if ever win, I still get so much enjoyment every week and never feel bad about any of the results. It's just too much fun to be upset after a race.
The other side to it is my wife got into it just as much as I have and that makes it even more special.
So I think the key is go to a race open minded with friends and family and let it take hold. It really is an amazing thing to be into. The fans at these races are some of the most kind and cool people of all ages I've encountered at any sporting event. It's all party and having a great time and nobody leaves a race unhappy

you should go to a top fuel drag race man, if the smells, sights , and sounds don't get injected into your blood you might wanna check your pulse!!!

first stage in the books... 5 car is a little loose... no grip.. no grip in no grip out... center feels good but feels like ice skates out there!!
crew chief is lowering air pressure to help with the grip and no track bar changes at all so hoping it tightens itself up with more grip and speed.
gained a spot on pit road and starting the second stage in 4th... crew chief had some scratching in the radio so he just put the big antenna on!!

second stage caution... 5 is too tight now and middle was not good. had great grip though. entry is spot on, just got to get the middle great. gonna free it up with mechanical and up the tire pressure just a tad... pitting for four!!

gained a spot on pit road.. starting the last stage in sixth place. crew chief feels he made some good changes and just confirming his brakes felt fine. after the 2 had a rotor explode he wanted to keep an eye on it. kyle ran the whole 2nd stage with no brake fans on, cliff was trying to keep heat in the front tires to help him turn. but they have a bigger air opening than the 20 so no overheating at all. just precautions!!!

Stoney I think they got the car set up for late in the race. Just finished 1st green and white. But I think the track changes pretty hard towards the end of the race. Phoenix in the afternoon is going to cool off fast once the sun. starts to fall.

Larson tried his best IMO. Blaney Just had a better car. Maybe more caution laps would have changed the out come with track conditions changing more but it is what it is.
I got some leftover Mopu Tofu as well!!!!

yeah he did... some other drivers cut him some really nice breaks too. he owes the cheez it driver an omaha steak membership!! and denny hamlin really cut him some slack near the end.

My 1st. Hot Rod was a 67 Camaro, then as a mid-life crisis I bought several Cyclone 3.7 v6 mustang's until 2016 when I got a GT w/3.55:1 rear gear. I dropped it on progressive lowering springs, locked out the lower rear independent suspension, wider tires with lightweight custom rims, intake custom. I enjoy road racing like IMSA racing as I drive the "Hill Country" in upper Tejas. SSgrower I live near the coast

Kinda had a feeling it would play out like that. Blaney has just been out Larsoning Larson for about a month and the Fords turned it on late so it just had that perfect storm vibe to it.
I thought Blaney might give it all away fucking with that hornets nest of a 1 car but he settled down. Nobody was catching that car on the long runs and it was kinda funny to see Truex get to his bumper then kinda say, yeah, no I aint fucking with that. Come get you some 12 and backed off it.
Crazy scene after the race though. Everybody was gettin' hammered! Like every team all I saw was suds flowing!
I'm so looking forward to next year! Lots of new faces will be out there probably gonna make a few old timers pissed off every week. Brisky gets the slate wiped clean and maybe makes another run at it like '22. And the Ponies will have an all new look!
Smoke see how the guy in second Blaney is 1.320 off the leader. The 1.25 difference between 4 and 5 is how far they are away from the leader.

yeah it was a good race, a good season too... to just come up short and finish second is nothing to hand their hats about!!
my first was a 69' dodge charger... man what i wouldn't do to have that thing yet!!! i really like anything go fast though. old/new/small/big.. anything modified to make it perform better i'm into... even nitrous on a chainsaw fires me up!!! haha
some of these pro companies out there though are so badass, like the trans am folks making that new 2024 70' chevelle.. that car is just straight badass in every way!!!
man the new fords look like a chevy!!! they'll smartin up one day!! hahahaha
there's some big changes in SHR coming next year.. lots of excitement and new people mixed in, just making the competition that much tighter!!!

yep, like Anthem said, amount of time behind the leader. they were taking about 28 seconds to make a lap there.
I have a hard time even going to events in person because most of the high performance stuff uses VP gasoline, If they are on Gasoline. Just the smell gets me going.
I have to keep some of this vague, but my buddy and I knew some shit was not right at events. We knew people where going faster than what they had been in the past. That was back when the pro stock guys where running propylene oxide. We went another route, nitromethane. Anyways we are in his garage put a mixer of like 1 percent nitro into the tank. Could not tell any difference, forgot the float bowls where full. Once that stuff got into the cylinders you could hear the difference. We had to mix the nitro with Acetone first to get the nitro to stay in the gas. straight Nitro will just fall out of gasoline. Only way you could tell the fuel was tampered with was the blue flame shooting out the exhaust on shut off or texting it.
Nitro and anything with an oxide in the name is oxygen bearing and improves performance.
@Stoneyluv you remember Micheal Waltrip getting busted for having that oxygen bearing crap in his manifold at the duels at Daytona the one year?

i'm still struggling with growing anything. i thought it was that 550 until today. things were growing fine last night ,so i thought. the five older seedlings didn't do so well, they were all started under the 550 and mid week they started showing the same signs and progressively got worse. except for one. the grape punch stayed green and kept growing. so i still felt it was the 550 being the problem, this plant is still growing nice and all four of my newest seedlings at a week old looked good.... until today. today i see the same damn signs on the one healthy plant and now signs on the two newest seedlings.
so there are only two common denominators left the seeds starter soil from two different bags bought at different times. and the great white i recently purchased.
i know for a fact that this light at this current spectrum grows plants excellent, i know i have to take that out of the equation. happy it's not the new 550 but totally baffled and frustrated on what my problem is.
so this afternoon i upcanned the oldest plant (grape punch) into stonington mix and also put the two newest seedlings in the stonington mix as well and did not use any great white at all, just water only.
the shitty part is i have to wait 8-10 days to see if this works or not... so far it's been the not!!!
if these two new seedlings yellow like the others i am at a complete loss and have no idea where to ever turn next. if they don't yellow then i can narrow it down between the GW and the seed starter mix.
here's the insurance photos... (sorry, trying to keep myself amused so i don't get upset with it)
so i figured the arc, tangie, and the sweets wern't going to make it but left them in there in case i figured it out.. they look just like all the others did in a couple weeks.
but the grape punch didn't yellow and kept growing... then today she showed yellow so i put her in the airpot and water only...
even the four newest ones were looking great, leaves up and perky with great color. last night i was still convinced it was the light. then today an hour after the light came on i saw the yellowing on the four new ones too... they look different too.. sad looking leaves not perky.. in just one night?!?!?!? i just don't get it!!!
the bubbles had a little leaf twist but i'm not concerned about that really, i've always understood that to be fast growth when they're young. it's the yellow on the newest growth. left alone this plant will be dead in two days.
so these two newest ones are in stonington mix and water only.... i'm going to leave the 275 in there for lighting.
am i missing something here guys? does anybody have an answer for me at all?
