Most colorful Fades....and the beauty of cannabis in general.

Now I see them 😃.admins delete if not allowed.I know fade happens naturally outdoors and see lots of soil growers getting fade indoors so what yous doing.drastically reducing there feed or not feeding them weeks out from chop .I certainly can’t get a fade in coco/perlite unless I stop feeding them but that would b unwise.all I can get is some anthocyanins but no leaf fade.

Genetics are the biggest factor imo.

okay..if I said I grew out the same Mac dragon bx1 like above and don’t get a fade on 6 girls would you consider it a nutrient issue
I would most likely consider it a nutrient issue. That plant was Lush soil and dry amendments only. Since I’m still learning I played it safe and didn’t top dress past week 5 and the plant went 9 weeks. I just let it ride and it turned out pretty nice. Whether it could’ve used more feeding or not I’ll leave up to you guys to tell me! Good question Max, I would like to hear what everyone thinks about it myself. It was from seed

I do it on purpose. Last two weeks in flower I go to straight water. Sorry, but side by side taste tests for smoothness and staying lit say it’s a yes.
This is Chocolate Mimosa which has some beautiful color naturally.B5B48C9C-14EF-430D-A7E8-13D0CDDD5D7B.jpeg

Yea I'm a noob but I got a decent fade out of my autos by not feeding them the last 2 or 3 weeks...pounded them a bit with some water. Lowered my night temp to 55F (i read that's about where growth stops). I did try ice water and some ice on the top of the soil to cool roots...but it seemed bro science....the temp may have even been brosive in intelligence...not sure....

I think the biggest factor was genetics and not feeding/sorta flushing

Thanks Granny, that’s good to know. What kind of nutrients are you using if I may ask?

I use seaweed, kelp, molasses, Xtreme Tea, Dr. Earths Flower Girl. I plant in a pre amended soil. It’s amended with mushroom compost, worm castings and organic perlite.

I will say - my haole moonshine #3 in soil - fading already week 6. The one in RDWC, fully green. Soil one is looking more "done" and hydro one set up MUCH bigger colas

here she is...
