I love how you can see the pollen spraying out around the bee. That's a pretty male no homo.
Genetics are the biggest factor imo.Now I see them.admins delete if not allowed.I know fade happens naturally outdoors and see lots of soil growers getting fade indoors so what yous doing.drastically reducing there feed or not feeding them weeks out from chop .I certainly can’t get a fade in coco/perlite unless I stop feeding them but that would b unwise.all I can get is some anthocyanins but no leaf fade.
From seed? Doubtfulokay..if I said I grew out the same Mac dragon bx1 like above and don’t get a fade on 6 girls would you consider it a nutrient issue
I would most likely consider it a nutrient issue. That plant was Lush soil and dry amendments only. Since I’m still learning I played it safe and didn’t top dress past week 5 and the plant went 9 weeks. I just let it ride and it turned out pretty nice. Whether it could’ve used more feeding or not I’ll leave up to you guys to tell me! Good question Max, I would like to hear what everyone thinks about it myself. Thanks Granny, that’s good to know. What kind of nutrients are you using if I may ask?I do it on purpose. Last two weeks in flower I go to straight water. Sorry, but side by side taste tests for smoothness and staying lit say it’s a yes.
This is Chocolate Mimosa which has some beautiful color naturally.View attachment 2957
I use seaweed, kelp, molasses, Xtreme Tea, Dr. Earths Flower Girl. I plant in a pre amended soil. It’s amended with mushroom compost, worm castings and organic perlite. Thanks Granny, that’s good to know. What kind of nutrients are you using if I may ask?

how do you go about getting your plants to fade..are you in coco/perlite @Mr.GreenthumbOGHappy to see a fade thread here.
The plants shine their brightest when you let them complete the flower process naturally.
Coco perlite, or promix. The key to a good fade is #1 Genetics. #2. Temperature, dropping lights on and lights off temps will bring out Colours, #3. Nutrient taper, I usually watch the trichomes for help when to cut off feeding, when things are getting milky, I plain water, or only add finishing agents.how do you go about getting your plants to fade..are you in coco/perlite @Mr.GreenthumbOG
I know you said naturally so I gather your not giving them any nutrients the last couple weeks or so and just water..that’s all I do outside..

It also helps to monitor run off numbers, and allow the plants to consume whatever is leftover before consuming themselves.
