So I'm a first time grower and started w hydro. My first time I ended up w 4 herms and a straight up male, I probably messed something up considering those outcomes. My next attempt I will be doing just 4 sites and getting rid of the dwc bucket. Appreciate you @MiGrampa !20250321_064418.jpg20250321_064400.jpg20250321_064351.jpg20250321_064343.jpg

No hermies or males please!!!

That could mean hand watering to get them started again. They look like with some tlc, they will perk up.

Edit: @Aqua Man his timing was what made it happen. I take my cuttings when I begin to lollipop right before flowering. He needed some help at a time when I was running clones ... I'd like to run another round of clones but is it too late with my plants approaching mid flower?

You can clone in flower i have a few times. They root fine but then take weeks to reveg. But its very doable especially when you see a plant you like and wanna keep

Salutations! Plants are all looking like they are taking off, at least in my inexperienced eyes lol Each one seems to be at a different growth size, is there something I should do about that to keep em all around the same size/growth? Thanks for watching and all the input! 20250402_105608.jpg20250402_105558.jpg20250402_105552.jpg20250402_105547.jpg20250402_105646.jpg

I think I should suck out some of the water? Till it's an inch below the nets? Just trying to dial in the grow a bit more. I probably need to look more into how to defoliate.... or just learn as I go I guess? :)

Yea to lowering the water

Hold off of defoliate for probably 10 days anyway

What ppm are you running?

I am concerned about the light intensity also… are you running 18/6?

Hey there! Currently I'm at 140 ppm

The light(mammoth mint 8 is a 880w) is 28 inches above the tallest plant and have it on a 18/6 schedule. It's at 50% and haven't noticed any light burn but was thinking of dialing it down to 40%. I still have an auto in there in late flowering stage so was trying to keep the intensity up. Are you seeing signs of distress on the little ones?

They are hungry and a bit light stressed. Up ppm to 400-600 of a balanced nutrient

They will probably handle the light better once they start getting more nutrients but i would turn it down for 3-5 days after upping the nutrients then see how they react when you turn it back up

I've been following a dwc nute thing I found and have really been thinking of getting away from it. So I mix a bunch of different bottles to make a gal of concentrate and add that to get their recommended ppm

Even under those guidelines I've been following, I'm underfeeding them, good call u guru u! lol

Just stick to the ratios suggested. Never seen that mix used before. To much to break down for me right now but nothing jumps out as crazy to me.

Make sure you keep the same ratios and just up the concentration

Salutations all! The plants seem to be doing ok? considering they r under my care lol

Pics r of 19 days of being in the system

I'm thinking I'm gonna top or fim them today? That'll give them about a week and then I'll flip? Should I b waiting a week to flip after topping em? I've heard they'll stretch 2-3x the height? I think my tent will handle a 3.5x height growth. Suggestions? Thanks in advance you beautiful ppl!

I'm a little concerned on the gorilla on the right of my previous post though.

Also I have some lower fans that look off on the other 3 plants. Dark green and a weird texture to them.

Salutations all! Plants are looking good? Day 23 of being in the system which is persistently staying at 460ppm and 5.9ph without having to do a thing. I topped them 3 days ago and am thinking of flipping em in 4-5 days. If it was your grow, would you b doing anything different? Any suggestions? Thanks for looking!

Salutations all! I believe my newb ass messed shit up once again lol Today is the first day of flip and the 2 Gorilla Roadkills r 13-14" already, so if they triple in height, the highest my light can be is only 12" above that... oopsie. Hopefully I can limit their height w a trellis or 2? Also, do I set up the first net now and let em grow into it? Thanks for looking!

That's easy ... first off, yes Gorilla Roadkill will stretch 2x to 3x depending on growing conditions. You haven't screwed up though. Simply tie a pipe cleaner or similar to a spot on the stem and gently bend the plant over. You have plenty of room!
That's good to hear!! Maybe in a few years I'll get a better handle on how to properly grow :)

@MiGrampa I am soo excited for when you get up and running! U have an extensive grow background and I bet u'll do very well! I probably won't be of much help, I personally wouldn't listen to any info I may b able to provide lol. Still feel free to ask when the time comes!
