Ya we let the milk weed grow in the garden 4 them.i think its the only thing they will lay there eggs on. The bees go crazy over it too.oh. i get those every few years, i only see the caterpillars though. never looked for or saw a cocoon, pretty cool!!! they normally always eat the milkweed, thats where i see them.

Do you dump out the solvent after you pull out the green?I'm de coloring a leaf atm I'm going to try staining it.

I don't have methanol or ethanol they're quicker than isopropyl but isopropyl is like the gentle approach, I'm working with small volumes they're easy saturated I need to change now it's emerald green!
