Hang on your socks man!! We met up last weekend and he gave me some Ethos stuff he grew. The Crescendo and Mandarin Cookies R1 are both kick ass. Nice fuely citrus notes from the mandarin, and earthy citrus from the Crescendo, and that nice sativa high i look for from both
He also gave me a bag that said "OV" and im guessing that was Orange Velvet also from ethos, i made hash from that and its much like a tangerine. Definitely dig the genetics but it helps when its grown right too!!

Ethos and Greenpoint genetics will be my next purchases lol.

Ethos is a mixed bag. Check with @SSHZ, who has grown out a number of them. I only grew out one, which was a major dud for me. But I've tried some Lemon OG Haze, grown by someone else, which was really nice.

Ive heard this before but im willing to take the risk lol.
I think im gonna get 10th planet and Colin OG RBX. They've been on my list since i heard about Ethos.
Still gotta get some Irie genetics too, i think it was you who told me about them actually and it all sounded phenomenal.

Week 9 done and they are done IMO.
At least 50% of the plants the way I see it.
Turned lighting down to 50% removed 1 hour taking them to 11 light/13 dark and lowered room max temp from 81 to 76.












Been giving just water since 10/22 so they can go anytime. About half are not needing or taking much, the other half is close but may still be packing?
I will do my best to let have 1 more week and hope the slower ones [ still with white pistils] will change over with adjustments I have made.
Next week is it though and have mercy on them if I get a day off this week~!
Soon as I can get them out of the room from drying I will be starting right back up with many of these same strains+ the greenpoints.
I turn off the lights and set the room proper for drying and expect to have them jarred within 7-10 days after chop hopefully.

I hate to say the phone takes better pics than the Nikon D3100, but i did finally figure out to shut off the fans before taking pics with the phone.
The way the color changes depending on angle the phone is held is goofy?
Some clear blue like 10K and others look like orange HPS around 3K.
1 day off this week and it will be over~!
Hoping for the paranoid "WTF just happened" buzz.

Buddy my whole shop smells like a skunk farm. Talking a 30X50 with 14-foot-high walls.
Another reason why fall/winter is when I like to grow.
If it was summer the reek would flow far.. It was noticeable to me even in veg during the summer, but of no real compare.
When I open the door just to enter the shop I smell love.
The room right now is basically overpowering and hard to stay in more than 15 minutes.

Rumor is we may have rain day on Wednesday.

A couple of years ago, I agreed to help my former employer and set a pretty low price on my hourly rate, when they needed work done that, out of all the people in the company, only I could do.

They hired a Ph.D in soil science to replace me, so I figured I was off the hook. The guy must know everything, right? Now they want me to TRAIN him in field techniques under hellish field conditions. I'm going to have to renegotiate. My old body can only take a few more years of punishment. I have to milk it while it still works.

So WTF does Ph.D mean? One of my old professors put it this way:
BS degree needs no explanation. We all are familiar with BS.
MS degree = more of the same.
Ph.D = piled higher and deeper.

I sent the last architect that watched me for more than 45 minutes home with homework~! Wondered where I learned what I was doing~!
He had to write down the references I told him he needed to learn about, and then listen to my whole rant.
I will remember the Ph.D as we touch the big boys often on our projects.
They may not do it, and they may not like it, but we do all speak English here.
Some just do it face to face~!

Started all of the same again minus Hash plant and added 2 Fruit Punch and Rum Runner from Greenpoint.
Fingers crossed.
All the Ethos went into the VG and the Greenpoint are hanging in a plastic bag with paper towels.

The whole room smells like I did well~!
I like to trim when dry or drier than wet.
Large leaves can come off wet, but the sugar leaves I like to dry a little before cutting.

All around I think I will try to feed more in veg to get them larger.
Half of what I said was Cherry is Planet of the grapes. The tags had their ID wiped off so it is a guessing game of who is who.

3 out of 15 plants chopped completely but still on stems.

Did not take pictures of every plant, but got 10 out of 15 done and in jars.
27.5 ounces.
Not great averaging 2.75ounces per plant but thankfully I grew enough to make up for mediocre results.

3 out of the new seedlings have not pushed up through dirt. 2 look pretty rough.
Some of these gave me a hard time first go around.
The Mandarin Cookies R3 is a real bitch. I'll be lucky if I get to grow a third plant out of 5 seeds.
Considering dropping a few replacement seeds?

Got me some Super Lemon Haze, Sirius Black, London Pound Cake, and Cherry Pie.

Going to start to finish my trim festival soon today and drop some of @dragonsflamegenetics seeds.
I can't wait till next grow to at least try a couple~!
Will also start replacement for the Rum Runner that has not come up.
The CG are not up at all [2/2] and one RR [1/2] also.
Had the same trouble with the CG and MCR3 last pop?
Got 1 MCR3 up but other is super sketch.

So glad to be done~!
So onto Grams per watt. I never did this so here is my rendition.
I never had my 300 watt lights over 75% so I count 225 watts per light.
6 lights equals 1350 watts.
41.5 ounces X 28grams equals 1162. .86 grams per watt.
So again not the best but I sure ain't going to complain about 41.5 ounces just for me.

Now I got to go vacuum the room and move seedlings.
Will be popping some DFG and a RR tonight hopefully.

I see the FC-8000s coming out. 1600 watts replacing 1200 so not a huge gain but some. Much bigger better foot print though.
Question is; is it worth it to use them before flower?

The room is clean but I will wait to place seedlings till at least tomorrow.
Letting it all ramp back up from 60 to 80 and set the lights back on timers for 18/6.
Dropped 1 more Rum Runner seed and figured I would give the Eternal Youth [Cement Shoes child} a final chance and dropped the last 4.
Skipped trying the Cherry GarSeeYa again since it has a pattern of doing this. I'll be missing one Candy store and Mandarin cookie from grow also it looks like.

I have no complaints that is for sure.
One thing the 'basic' GPW does not account for is time.
Time vegging and time in flower if one would get carried away with a sativa or cut quick with an auto?
The numbers besides weight mean little to me honestly.
Getting down to the efficiency of electric use is pro or cheap level.
I am neither.
