So in the middle of the night last night I'm sitting here with a freshly cleaned proto-pipe and nothing to put in it
I got pissed off enough to get up and press some damn hashView attachment 84570 View attachment 84571
been a while since i saw one of those!!! (the pipe not the snowblower!!) haha
Merry Christmas!!!
Thanks, Merry Christmas to you too!
The pipe is only a knockoff but it smokes well, haven't smoked hash since March, I forgot how smooth it is!![]()

I also use mars lightingFor just a couple weeks any good fluorescent light would work.
In most of my grows I start under a LED fish light that is probably weak/ inferior to LED grow light even at basic starting models.
Nobody here endorses Mars Hydro but G$ and myself use them. I think Granny also.
Cheap for what they are IMO
@growsinse79 just said he really likes this bulb~!

Thanks for the input, I was thinking something more along the lines of a flat panel light because I'm going to attach it to the underside of a rack, above the propagation mat & trayFor just a couple weeks any good fluorescent light would work.

Hey, I'm a fan of the Spiderfarmer stuff, I have 5 of their lights and 2 tents. I have 2 -SE3000 & 1 G3000 I can't tell the difference between plants grown under 1 or the other. The G series are a bit cheaper but as far as I can see they perform the same. Thanks for the input, I was thinking something more along the lines of a flat panel light because I'm going to attach it to the underside of a rack, above the propagation mat & tray
If you wouldn't mind maybe I could float a few choices I'm considering by you for input, cuz I've never owned a led light and not sure what I need
Also is there a better place for me to post questions? I'm not that familiar with where to post what here yet

Hey buddy, Happy New Year!Hey, I'm a fan of the Spiderfarmer stuff, I have 5 of their lights and 2 tents. I have 2 -SE3000 & 1 G3000 I can't tell the difference between plants grown under 1 or the other. The G series are a bit cheaper but as far as I can see they perform the same.
I'm vegging now under their 74w SF600 up to about 5 weeks then they need more light or need to be flipped

I've been using this SF600 and it works greatHey buddy, Happy New Year!
For a couple months next summer I'm going to have to switch over to leds because of the heat so I'll keep those in mind for then.
Right now I just want something that will let me crack seeds and hold the seedlings for a couple weeks max, then I'll get pop in the tent under my HID

Thanks, I know you like the spider farmers, I've read your thread.I've been using this SF600 and it works greatView attachment 85768
Thanks for all the input, I ended up going with the fluorescent 4 packOr maybe something old school like this I could use one to start seeds, two if I have to hold the seedlings for a little while to let the flowering plants finish and I could use the other two out in the garage, these Im familiar with. I think they will be just what you need for veg and maybe even a little free heat for this time of year. Thanks for all the input, I ended up going with the fluorescent 4 pack
Yeah they'll be fine, I used to use t2's back in the 80s to start my seedlings & early veg too, so these are basically the same as t2s, plus I got a couple extra I can put out in the garage over my workbenchI think they will be just what you need for veg and maybe even a little free heat for this time of year.
Something like this, just to pop seeds and hold them for a week or so till tent is open.
Not looking for cheap, just this style for my specific applicationView attachment 85759

That’s a nice looking setup. Like that it’s on wheels and can be tucked away in a corner.Hey, I'm a fan of the Spiderfarmer stuff, I have 5 of their lights and 2 tents. This is just for me for a reminder, this was when the phosphorus issue showed up and apparently I was already watering at 650, I think I drop back to 600Update: before I forget
Flushed with 6.8 / 100 PPM
Runoff was 6.6 / 440 PPM (in both readings)
The only problem I see is these piss poor genetics
Upped the food to 650ppm
Same here used them for a decade with great success, they were great to start seeds and maybe for the first couple weeks and that's all I'm looking for hereI used a twenty four inch double fluorescent with day time tubes for vegging for years with no ill effect, the tubes are better these days as they have changed the gas in the tubes for some thing better.![]()

I like them level too! used to do that with a level back at the beach house, I've looked for my small level recently for something else, I thought it made the move here with my toolbox but I can't seem to find it?I’m often bumping my head on a light. To the point I now keep a bubble level for fence posts on top of one so I can correct it quickly.

No idea but he's a big son of a gun for sure! He usually stands in my driveway watching for field mice around the stacks of firewood, never saw him in the backyard before, he was there quite a while tooNice, what kind of owl is it?![]()
Is it big? Didn't look very big in the photo. Could be what they call a "little owl" or a Northern saw-whet Owl.Edit: might be a Barred Owl
