A Cornucopia of Delightful Cannabis Cultivars

Not bad for 1/2 gal pots crammed into the 4x4. Ended up with a little under 8oz of buds and a couple oz of shake for edibles for the purple Nepali, only got about 2 oz off od the 3 little lavenders and the purple sunshine was all ground down to extra the seeds so that will be used to make edibles and salves

Did a major defoliation today to prevent the humidity issues late in flower that I had last run. Took a lot but anything I cut off branch wise wasn’t gonna amount to shit mostly rubbery side branches that j anticipate giving me problems so they get cut. Always get a good laugh at how pathetic they look after the leaf strip

Today is the day
First real breeding project has officially been started. Later this afternoon I’ll be pollinating my chosen female from the lemon wookie f4 line that I’ve been gifted

This lemon wookie f4 line is fantastic. The buzz lasts a long time and seems to have no ceiling at all, I can vape a bowl at 330 and still be buzzed at 6 and vape another bowl and it just keeps climbing so I’m hoping to retain that effect but give the plants some beefier hashplant structure and more resin production

Alright the chosen girl has been pollinated. I decided to choose a different lemon wookie female, the other one was a little too lemony for my taste and the shortest pheno has the most frost and strongest lavender smell so she got the pollen. A few pics of the full tent looking much better than over the weekend when I went a little crazy with the leaf strip. Two favorite looking buds so far first pic lemon wookie and 2nd Pura Vida

Pretty sure the pollination worked, the pistils on the buds I dusted are starting to turn brown and shrivel so that’s a good sign that I got em good. The female I selected has me really excited she smells similar to the rest of the gassy lavender phenotypes but has a slight candy lemon lime mixed in and it’s like a perfect balance of smells, im really excited to see what I get in this cross and I’m glad I decided to wait 5 years before doing any type of breeding and I’m glad I did it the correct way and didn’t just chuck some f1 pollen and call it a day because I really despise those types of breeders out there so hopefully I can create something special and most importantly stable

I don't know sh_t, but it all looks great to me. Something about that Chernobyl speaks to me. Just draws me in and I can't explain why, lol. I'm gonna see what you think when it finishes and see if my instincts are right or if I should have kept my thoughts to myself 🍿

its a very unique smell but out of the 12 in the tent so far the 2nd plant from front row on the left is the best smelling to me. that's the plant that I pollinated with 88g13hp pollen last week to start my first little project. The line I've been growing out is a lemon wookie from bodhi seeds but one of my friends has been working on the line and has selected these lavender smelling phenos which are nice but I was able to find one in the f4s with the lavender smell but mixed with this sweet honeysuckle scent. its hard to do it justice with a description its just a really nice sweet floral smelling plant with hints of lime and honey suckle mixed in with the herbal lavender fuel smell.
 
new idea for brand
not in the future plans but someday if I ever decide to start selling seeds I can't use the costanza name and logo for trademark reasons so I needed to come up with something more unique and here it is.

Around day 42
Started to taper my nitrogen down using 12g part A and 2.8g part B and adding .8 g per gal of pure mono potassium phosphate to boost the Pk and get these buds fattened up
Next batch started is 10 purple sunshine f2s that I just made along with some of these dream shoes from a buddy and 8 g13 hashplant x lemon tree which were freebies from AK Bean Brains and I’ve heard really good things about the breeder so figured id give them a try

Also I’m sure I’m just being neurotic about this but the last 3 runs I feel like my buds have been too leafy and my leaves too green so I suspect that this crop salt ratio is off and has too much nitrogen in the bloom formula so on the next run I got a house and garden coco starter kit to try out along with a couple other additions a cal mag supplement which I haven’t been using along with a new ec pen

I have some wonderful news to share. The female lemon wookie f4 that I pollinated with g13 hashplant pollen has been successfully pollinated. Just pulled a small lower bud off and got 3 nice mature seeds in that bud so I think I’m gonna get a decent enough amount of seeds to actually hunt them out and make f2s

Almost out of smoke have a little purple Nepali left but it’s super heavy Indica and I need a daytime smoke desperately. Debating on chopping this Chernobyl tomorrow at day 58 I’d prefer to let her go until day 63 but desperate times call for desperate measure

Next batch has been flipped. Gonna give it about 4 to 5 weeks then I’m gonna start the next seed repro. Next one up is the chem kesey strain here is a decent description on a dispensary website of the strain

In the 4x4 the top 8 are the purple sunshine f2 seeds from the last seed repro. Along with the 8 purple sunshine I have 2 dream shoes that my friend made and that’s blue dream x raspberry shoes, then we have 7 seeds from an AK bean brains freebie pack which is g13 hashplant x purple Hindu Kush x lemon tree.

Well this is exciting my first creation is finished. About 6 weeks ago I pollinated 2 branches of my favorite pheno of lemon wookie f4 with some 88g13 hashplant pollen. Dried the plant and I got about 75 seeds so after the next seed repro I’m gonna grow out some f1 seeds of my first creation which I’m calling Lav13

Ok this is cool. I’ve been testing seeds for a small breeder for the past couple years and he finally decided to release his stuff. This guys the real deal, not to knock any other breeders but this guy puts a lot of work in and doesn’t release untested unstable garbage. Everything I’ve tested for him has been fantastic and he mainly breeds for effect and medicinal value due to having medical issues and all of the stuff I’ve tried from him has been very heavy hitting. If you’re looking for some new stuff to try check out backyardboogie on glg, he should be releasing 4 packs sometime at the end of the month so don’t sleep on this guy once people find out how good his stuff is it’s gonna be gone quickly
