Chopped the purple sunshine and the lone hashplant this morning at day 68
Attempting to reveg the purple sunshine blueberry pheno. Kept the reveg and the 2 runts in the smaller 3x3 veg tent and switched light to 24/7. Moved the 4 lav13hp, 2 bless your heart and 3 mystery testers into the flower tent so I can appease my OCD and call Monday day 1 of flower tomorrow.

that humidifier was a rip off. I bought it on the buildasoil website and paid about 100 for it and then saw the exact same model on amazon for 60 a few months later. The red guitar was a toy left behind by the son of an ex girlfriend that lived with me about 13 years ago. That kid that owned the plastic guitar just turned 23 a few weeks ago so now I'm feeling old as fuck. guitar always reminded me of this scene

Day 5
Starting to stretch a little so I’ve been pulling the branches outwards to try and get the plants to spread out a little and even out the canopy it’s a non stop job that won’t end until mid December and this new silica is turning my plants into woody trees super early so I wanted to get a head start on the training. Plants in dry room are dialed in and it’s why I love harvesting around this time of year since it’s so much easier to heat an area that cool it.

Does your washer tray have raised ridges or is it flat all the way? Mine has a sun burst circular pattern that doesn’t go edge to edge.

I’m getting ticked with mine and the occasional uneven level of my riser that sits on top. I might have to print something that lets me level out to the corners.

thats why I use the plastic grids over top the tray bottom has the raised floor

Nice uplifting daytime effects from this one and decent bag appeal too

Trimmed the rest and the irony is not lost on me that while all 3 phenos of purple sunshine are fantastic this g13 hashplant x purple Hindu Kush might be the best one I’ve grown has some of the best night time effects I’ve ever had. I had stuff from the dispensary that was supposedly high 30s and it stayed in the jar last night and the Hindu was my smoke of choice last night so it figures that the plant with the least yield and the worst bag appeal would be the plant out of the 4 that I preferred the best. Here are the buds diesel pheno followed by mixed berry pheno and then the g13 hashplant cross which looks like beasties but smokes like an elite cut, stuff was super heavy and euphoric and gave me the munchies enough to make a pizza

Day 12 in the flower tent starting to train these plants by bending the tops outward to try and get the middle of the plant canopy even. 2 runts in 3x3 doing well not sure wtf I’m gonna do with them since there won’t be room in the 4x4 so they may get sex tested by leaf sample next month just to make sure I’m not over here wasting my nutrients on a bunch of dudes in the tent

I like your washer tray grate better than mine, goes edge to edge. But it still bugs me I can’t find something the right size or bigger I can cut down. Eventually I’ll go your route, maybe glue or screw the parts together as one. IDK

Yeah it drives me insane when I see how much space I’m wasting in the tent. I’m about ready to do the same and just buy a couple lf then cut them into sections and glue them together into a larger 4x4 tray but it might be cheaper just to buy a normal 4x4 tray at a hydro shop the only problem is the closest hydro shop to me is about 2 hours away

Just watch the measurements. I found out a 3x3 tray will not fit in a 3x3 tent.

So the washer tray idea was the best fit my current needs. The raised parts just made it harder to use them. But the woman at the checkout only charged me for one try. I even said I had two but she wasn’t listening to me.

Would it be better to go on top of the sides or to have them inside the tray? (If I get the light panels.)

Wish I still had me electrical contacts, I miss all the freebies.

Getting some nice smells off of the 2 lav88 plants. Back right taller plant smells just like the mom I used it has a gassy lavender smell with a slight citrus mixed in and the short squat g13hp leaner smells like floral earth with a complexity to it that I was hoping from that pollen.

On this small germ test I only ended up with 2 females but lucky both are completely different phenotypes
the first picture is the taller female and smells almost identical to the mother plant I used, gassy nose burning lavender oil with a slight lemon mixed in.

Getting some nice chunky buds in the tent and the tents starting to smell a little earlier than last run. My grow room didn’t smell until around day 42-50 last run and I think I ran my vpd a little too high and had it to dry in the tent and it killed the terps idk maybe I’m just crazy

Day 34
Changed my formula a little bit
Was doing 3g A and 1g B but the part B has all the calcium so I upped it a slight bit to give the buds some extra fuel to get bigger. Started bud XL last week at .5 ml per gal and started the top booster yesterday at .250 ml per gal. Around day 38 I’ll keep the bud xl and do an overlap with the top booster and higher pk hardener top shooter. The goal is to get the buds bigger with the XL and the top booster then harden them with the shooter.

This might be my best grow yet as I’m approaching my 5 year growversary
First 2 pics are my first creation the lav88
The first pheno is almost identical to the mother plant she smells like a super pungent lavender oil mixed with a lemon gas that is almost offensive how bad it burns your nostrils. The 2nd picture is the hashplant pheno of the lav88 this one smells like a damp forest floor covered in flowers and the structure is super dense already and looks like it would make fantastic hash, pic 3 is the lone Irene hybrid bless your heart she’s developing a really dank earthy kushy smell mixed with a pine needle and the last pic is the superstar of the tent my buddies been working on a special sour diesel project for a few years now and this last girl is from the f2 seeds he sent me. The only way I can describe this plant is it smells like super expensive weed from the early 2000s it’s got this hoppy stale beer skunkiness to her that’s uncanny and keeps you coming back for more smells. I have another one of her siblings in the veg tent as a mother and took some clones from her and this plant just screams excellence and I can’t wait to see how she expresses in the coming weeks

About 1 more week of pk boost then I’ll start tapering back on the base A and B until day 56 and then switch to the finishing powder
Smell went from a 4 to an 8 in the past 7 days

thanks I'm excited about the Lav88
sending some f1 seeds to @BackyardBoogie and he's gonna take them to f2 then I'm gonna work on the f3s and alternate back and forth
he's the guy that took the lemon wookie to f4 and selected the lavender phenos that's the mom I used so I cheated a little by using a female that was already stable
next up is a seed reproduction on the sunshine 4 strain

about 18-19 days left
first pic is the skunky girl the appalachia hybrid second is the lav88 hashplant pheno she's starting to get the lavender oil smell mixed with the damp forest smell. This is exactly what I was hunting for this pheno, just took until week 8 to develop the lavender smell.
the 2 rooted clones of appy sister doing well the 7 in the cloner healthy but no roots yet but its only day 5

First 2 pictures the headband and the Irene hybrid are getting chopped at day 63 next Sunday
Pics 3 and 4 the two phenos of the lavender hashplant are still bulking so they’re gonna be taken between days 68-70
Really happy with this batch was having so many issues the past year and this grow really pulled me into the weed zone and now I wanna focus on doing as many seed preservations as I can this year so I can start building a genetic library of my own worked lines. Baby steps gonna take at least a few years to get things moving but I’m moving in the right direction.

This is such torture when you get to the end of a grow and then realize that you’ve got another 6-8 weeks before the buds will be cured and optimal. My goal on this one was to fix the issues I was having before with light yields and pathetic bud weight and it’s hard to tell until I get them dried and weighed but overall I think the health of the plants is so much better than previous grows. Today is day 57 and I’m getting ready to cut nutrients on Thursday and switch to plain water the last couple days on the headband she’s perfect but the other need more time and I’m gonna keep feeding the normal base A and B at 1.6g each until Thursday then I’ll start the cake powder for the last 10 days and harvest the last 3 on the 25th at day 70
