A Cornucopia of Delightful Cannabis Cultivars

One year I grew a bunch of “regular” seeds, had a 60:40 turnout F:M.

What struck me was that the males got off to the much stronger start and were the beefiest plants, stretched before the females and were just overall picks to be the biggest plants.

Not sure if that’s a normal things, but dang, the males all seem to look awesome here too!

Oh it’s normal because I just culled 9 males from this tent and about 3/4 of them I could tell they were males before I even checked pre flowers they had that tall lanky structure to them

And now there are 8
Culled 9 males on my 2nd break today
Ended up with 3 purple sunshine and 5 g13hashplant x lemon tree. Gonna move the bigger ones into the back and the shorter ones in the front later on. Planning to transplant these 8 into 2 gal pots in the next couple days

I’m not sure how nor why, but your plants look like they grew significantly in just one day!
I see they are in bigger pots, but doggone, there is a lot less floor visible in the second pic!

Beautiful girls! Little mounds of joy!
part of it is an optical illusion because the pots are much bigger I went from 1/2 gallon to 2 gallon pots the other part is the auto watering system, once i get them hooked up to the auto watering they seem to get a nice little boost and they're hitting that stretch.

My 210 regs went to 105 fems. Basically 50%

Day 20 switching to bloom formula tomorrow got my res all cleaned out and bloom nutrients all mixed ready to go.
On about 2-3 weeks I’m gonna start the next batch of seeds. Next up is Angel Band ( notsodog headband aka LA Kush x Appalachia ) and some tester beans from mg first cross I just made with the lemon wookie f4 aka lavender boogie and the 88g13hp pollen

I culled the 3 runts in the front row and spread out the remaining 3 purple sunshine and 2 g13hp x phk x lemon tree left in the tent and did some minor leaf stripping to thin out this canopy a little. I started bloom powders a few days ago and started using the house and garden Bud xl at 3.8 ml per gal. Sitting around 1.8 ec right now and upped my ph a little to 6.2 because my runoff ph was a bit low at 5.6

Pressed some of this lavender boogie
And wow i thought it was great in flower form but it develops a slight candy lemon aftertaste along with the expected gassy lavender floral terps in rosin form and it’s incredible. First press was darker and done on 205f 2nd press is lighter and done on 190f. Big thanks to my good friend @BackyardBoogie and huge congrats to him for finally giving in to peer pressure and releasing his lineup to the masses.

Next batch planted this morning. Trying not to get too crazy keeping it under 20 this run. Since I’m using the 2 gal pots instead of the 1/2 gal I can’t fit as many in the tent and it kills me every time I have to cull healthy plants to get them to fit so I went with 18

Pics from last night at day 45
Upped pk a bit running at 2.2 ec right now. Next week I’lll drop back down to 1.8 ec and drop my temps down a little and go up to 1.4 vpd. Have to keep tent door half open after this week in order to get my rh down under 50 at night the last couple weeks but the blackout material I taped over the windows has been doing a great job keeping the room dark so I’m glad I did that in the summer. Got about a week left of bloom and then it’s 3g per gallon of cake and my harvest window is between Nov 11-18th I’m anticipating a day 70 chop on most especially this gorgeous blueberry pheno which I can’t wait to reveg, take clones and pollinate and make some crosses with
Next batch at week 1 waiting for the other 3 to pop but as is I got 11 seedlings so that should be ok if the others don’t pop. The 4 solo cups in the middle is my tester of my first breeding cross it’s lemon wookie v1 f4 aka lavender boogie crossed with an 88g13hp male. The male was from pollen I traded for last year and the stud from what I’ve been told is a beast and produces fantastic offspring so I can’t wait to see what I get, I’m calling it Lav13hp
Picked up a few new packs that I wanna use for a new project soon. Gonna repro the last chance pack heard great things about the topanga pure kush strain and everything I’ve grown and smoked with the pk in it has been really good so I’m gonna take them to f2 or f3 hunt a nice female and then grow out these triangle kush s1 seeds and find a nice female in those and hopefully hit them both with more g13 pollen and also gonna be growing some Jamaican bush hashplant on search of a stud to make more hybrids

Dude, the plants screaming to be tumbled. 🤣

What part isn’t covered in trichomes, or do you dress your plants in cashmere at night? 😂👊
I purposely left some of the lower buds on with intentions of revegging this one.
I wanna clone it and run 4 of them so I have closer to a lb to wash in case I screw up. I'm not gonna have enough to wash this one if I screw up I'll be sad this is such a fantastic blueberry smell its too good to lose I gotta hope I can reveg her

Day 55
Getting close to the window
Next 3 packs that I have scheduled for a seed reproduction. The chem Kesey will be started in about a month and the sunshine and last chance will be saved for spring and summer.

These plants needs to finish quickly, they’re getting so top heavy that I’m having trouble keeping them upright. Had to get creative last night and tie the net to the carbon filter and tie some plant wire and support some of the larger colas because they’re all bowing outward now and they’re super heavy.
Day 60 today, gonna try and push them to day 67 next Saturday
