They sponsored me for a while and gave me most of the lights and 2 tents, I wouldn't support them if I didn't like them though. Everything still works and its been about 5 years with their stuff and its grown some great weed so ya, big fan. I did buy their hat but it was a bit too small for my fat head so I gave it to my son...who lost it...lol and I bought their Glow 40's far red lights

These are only 18 in LEDs and only two of them but they have a better spectrum, but I don't really know if I need the red spectrum just to start seeds?

Plus with the 4pack the other two I could use in the garage, one over my workbench the other over my toolbox

Yeah they'll be fine, I used to use t2's back in the 80s to start my seedlings & early veg too, so these are basically the same as t2s, plus I got a couple extra I can put out in the garage over my workbench

I use a small 100w quantum board. It’s lowest setting at this hight is 5200 LUX which is good for starting seedlings/clones.


Small T5’s are popular choices too.

Hey, I'm a fan of the Spiderfarmer stuff, I have 5 of their lights and 2 tents. I have 2 -SE3000 & 1 G3000 I can't tell the difference between plants grown under 1 or the other. The G series are a bit cheaper but as far as I can see they perform the same.

I'm vegging now under their 74w SF600 up to about 5 weeks then they need more light or need to be flipped

Update: before I forget

Flushed with 6.8 / 100 PPM

Runoff was 6.6 / 440 PPM (in both readings)

The only problem I see is these piss poor genetics

Upped the food to 650ppm

This is just for me for a reminder, this was when the phosphorus issue showed up and apparently I was already watering at 650, I think I drop back to 600

normally I write everything down on a clipboard including the results from the flush I do every third watering, but I gave up on these so I'm depending on my updates

Same here used them for a decade with great success, they were great to start seeds and maybe for the first couple weeks and that's all I'm looking for here

So I upped the feed to 700 PPM at 6.8 pH

I'm getting more lower leaf drop than I like at this point in flowering but considering the runoff is spot on every time I check it I've got to attribute it to being underfed

I just smoked the last of my Christmas hash, probably press more this evening cuz I'm not going back to smoking joints, I can't I won't!

I wasn't kidding about being a month In Bloom and have zero scent from these plants, here's my new filter still in the box (just noticed the light is crooked)

No idea but he's a big son of a gun for sure! He usually stands in my driveway watching for field mice around the stacks of firewood, never saw him in the backyard before, he was there quite a while too

Owls are my favorite birds lol
I found one as a baby (great horned owl) the year I met my wife, it had fallen out of a tree and since that day I've been hooked on owls. Super cool, super smart birds.

Owls are amazing!! Seems as one gets older bird watching becomes way more enjoyable.
I’m especially fond of owls, and other birds of prey. I took this shot last May in my backyard of a horned owl, zoomed in and blurry as I didn’t wanna spook it. I hear them every night, but catching a peek at them is pretty special

Oh yeah it's good size, it's less than 20 ft from the window, definitely a foot tall or more

So this is going to sound weird but this is actually not the first time I've seen this

When my 250/400/600 watt timer kicks on at 9:00 p.m. & a little red light on the timer lights, the ballast will not kick the light on

two nights in a row at 9:45 I've noticed it dark in the tent

So I unplug the light from the timer, plug it back into it and the bulb lights

No idea why this happens (or how it can even happen) but I have an old ballast that does exactly the same thing out in storage

I have a 400/600/1000 watt ballast that I can use temporarily but I don't like using underrated bulbs in thousand watt units

So I guess I'll just try to stay awake after dinner to make sure the light comes on at 9:00 p.m. while I wait a week for the new ballast to come

I never seem to have a real loud overpowering smell, it stays pretty chill until I chop and I quit running filters. I think it has to do with my temp though as I rarely get above 78F. I had it mid 80s a couple times and that is when it would smell for me. Also the time my pole fans accidentally got turned off, I guess heat started to build up a bit to cause the smell. Anytime I've smelled my plants like that when it got too warm in the tent the finished product was always less tasty than on runs it didn't do that. I've heard people say when you smell it, that you are smelling the terps cooking off...I guess that may be true? Also heard that terps are produced constantly by the plant so my thought on that is a mid flower heat spike isn't the end of the world if you can get the temps back in check and they got a while to produce more terpenes since some cooked off?

Sometimes the stuff is so good it doesn't matter...I've also pulled really tasty bud from outdoor that went thru heatwaves....but outside with the sun, and the fact they were growing amazing and weren't deficient everything was probably right for those plants to keep pounding out the terps....that and it cooled the last couple weeks.

This is just my interpretation, curious to hear others... I've only been at the growing since the 2000s

It was this brand but it was only a 600 the 1000 watt is what I have out in storage

exact same thing happened to a 600W from the same company some years ago, still have it in storage marked NG but I remember it did this same thing

I try to keep my room about 82f.
There have been times in flower when 10 minutes in the room was overwhelming.
Every grow is different, but I can usually smell it from outside the room in the shop even with windows open.
Never used a filter yet.
I do agree when you smell it is evaporating, hence the odor.

I guess no smell is the wrong way of saying it, it has a smell for sure but mostly comes from handling it or being right up in the general space. I also smoke cigs so I could be smell blind. I do think I know what ya mean though, some of my plants smell as a clone. My stepson says his clothes smell like weed I just try to blame it on the crazy amount my wife smokes so it ain't my fault or the grows fault. I may have some ignorance to the smell idk. Amazon crack head showed up at my door saying damn it smells good in there....right after harvest....I said yea it did but I smoked it...hoping she'd take the bait it was just what I was burning recently

Tried to germ an outdoor plant I grew...was supposed to be purple kush it came from...heavy indica I know that and it smelled all the way out to my mailbox but I just attributed that to being outdoor in the heat...hmmph

Maybe it's time?
