So this is going to sound weird but this is actually not the first time I've seen this
When my 250/400/600 watt timer kicks on at 9:00 p.m. & a little red light on the timer lights, the ballast will not kick the light on
two nights in a row at 9:45 I've noticed it dark in the tent
So I unplug the light from the timer, plug it back into it and the bulb lights
No idea why this happens (or how it can even happen

) but I have an old ballast that does exactly the same thing out in storage
I have a 400/600/1000 watt ballast that I can use temporarily but I don't like using underrated bulbs in thousand watt units
So I guess I'll just try to stay awake after dinner to make sure the light comes on at 9:00 p.m.

while I wait a week for the new ballast to come
Always something, but you already know that...
