This is going to be a late journal entry. So I’ll try to be as accurate as possible about this grow. So with out further ado. Here we go.

First off the strain is as mentioned above.

Room temperature are from 65 to 75
Humidity around 55 to 60
Fertilizers. Advanced Nutrients
Grow,Bloom,Micro,Bud Candy,Big Bud, and Overdrive.

My lighting consists of 3 Mars Hydro TSW 2000 and 2 Bloom Plus Xp 4000

Water is straight from the tap.

Self watering pots for Wally World.

Soil is Happy frog with 20% perlite worm castings.

Plants were planted October 1st

I flipped to flower Dec 8th.

As far as the feeding schedule goes. I simply followed the Advanced Nutrients recommendation of NPK. Water schedule was every 3 days. Nothing special. I did do some what of an experiment with these plants. I ended up topping them a week or so before flip. So I went down 4 nodes maybe and topped them. Then I let the tops grow out an inch or 2 then flipped. So what happened was all the side and lower branches were able to catch up with the tops during the stretching of the plants. The plants under certain lights had a nice even canopy. Not perfectly level but nice. The other plants under the other lights stretched more and didn’t even out so well. I really didn’t do any trimming, pruning or scrog. So here are the pics as of today. Thanx for reading BD1E4B26-7266-41DC-A9C7-5A4F9EEF39C6.jpeg452F5C86-A568-49AA-8474-6E2A61A94B9F.jpeg46963A10-73D6-4672-B795-6DC070E1E04D.jpeg811928C1-C550-4708-9200-1B889C2D8A59.jpegA41EF62A-AF17-45F9-99BB-9297E9CE6C33.jpeg3523E063-132D-4D5D-9EB7-04C36E1E2872.jpegE9C11D31-429F-46B5-90D7-52AE25A87BB5.jpeg020A1E91-5E20-4D6A-960C-16C7981D93A7.jpegD84455DD-9D1C-4831-892D-0B4EE0A45444.jpeg3C86530B-8AAF-4182-BD39-B6CD9A539FBB.jpegA596D385-2566-4E70-AC57-785FEB9F388D.jpeg3C86530B-8AAF-4182-BD39-B6CD9A539FBB.jpegEED7310C-85BF-4004-9D28-D6ABAD31E0F1.jpeg85157E55-CEC5-4E51-AD8B-94A4F7FEBA33.jpeg325288CD-1A59-459B-92F9-EA6C272A3EB9.jpeg

I did see a little issue. image.jpg

Some purplish here. image.jpg

I did cut the nitrogen from 8ml per 2 liter to 5 ml. I also increased my phosphorus from 8ml per 2 liter to 10ml. Potassium has remained the same. I added Cal/Mag 2 ml per 2 liters last feeding and the same this feeding. Plants are big and strong and show minimal if any deficiencies. If you see something chime in. Thanx for reading.

Rootsruler recommended I go full dosage on the Cal/Mag. I need to get a reading next feeding of my feed ppm and run off ppm. I did however do a ppm of run off Friday and it was well into the 1900 ppm’s. I have a Hanna DiST1. I calibrated it so it should be accurate. My next feeding is Jan 1 so I want to do a water ppm, feed ppm and runoff. I don’t usually worry about this process. I read up on the strain where I purchased them and apparently they can handle high ppm’s. My pots are self water so the reservoir can hold 5 or 6 cups. And the roots draw that up the day after watering.

I didn’t mention where I purchased the seed because I don’t know the restrictions.
Not sure if you noticed but we don't do vendor sponsorships. Too easy to get bogus reviews. The site is member supported. You can mention whoever you want but we do have a few seed and clone slingers on the site that I think you should seriously look into.

Jeff's Dragon Flame Genetics have been nothing but winners. I have a large backlog of seeds and I'm STILL itching to pick up a few packets of seeds. B2CAG is another excellent seed source that we have on the site. @Anthem275 has some nice clips if that's your thing. I probably forgot a few but pretty much most of the "vendors" all deal in fire.

I will definitely do that. I have another order arriving Thursday of Purple Diesel. I have 3 Blue Dreams and 3 more God’s Gift growing. I hope to pop maybe 3 of those and have another grow done by May.

You're a ringer~!:p I think you are killing it in a good way~!🥳
Your plants look very good.
Slight adjustments to feed your schedule and a few more grows and I predict rock star status for you and your plants.
Cool cool sharing.
Keep the updates coming man.👊

Thank you very much. I’m trying really hard on this grow. Things can definitely go south in a heartbeat. I know that from what little experience I have.

I do wish I had more space and more lighting for my plants. Then I have more distance between them. Sometimes I feel they suffer from crown shyness.

Looks like you have a good sized room.
We all need bigger grow areas though.
I completely understand.
Yeah the upstairs is around 1500 sq foot. Split into a short hallway divider with 2 bedrooms. The only issue is it’s a hip roof and the wall 45 to the ceiling following the roof line. Thought about going with rail lighting. Like Philips or Hg lighting or maybe a Mars. All these individual lights can be a pain to hang and move during a grow.image.jpg

CannaGranny ia our scrog goddess.
Her youtube channel;

I have 2 of them but I have to figure out how to utilize them
I am learning to scrog, didn't know Granny had a youtube film, or Show? Anyway your gaining ground on that soil growing, how big are your pots? 15gal 20gal. SS build a frame for a double tier scrog trellis. Wow, I said something intelligent.

I thought about building another frame around my grow. Maybe an open box frame with 2x4 corners and bracing. But I also had the idea to use PVC schedule 40. Maybe 1 or 1 1/2 diameter. It would only be used for scrogging and possibly some side panels. May figure something out on that this summer.

No bad beans here - b2cag is new to me I have a few to run - but I’d say @dragonsflamegenetics and @Oldsog ( cabinet of curiosity) are two of the best in the business ! Great humans ! Great genetics ! Both put in lots of work and love in their work

I checked out Dragonflames. Awesome grows from what I saw. I see a purchase in the future. I’ll check out the others soon. Thanx

Just getting my channel started. @ZombieRider just completed my watermark today. We plan on getting the entire process up via video. A work in progress so to speak. You sure are welcome to follow along!

Got another one showing some phosphorus deficiency. I don’t think it’s a toxicity. As mentioned I’m giving 10ml to 2 liters of Advanced Nutrients Bloom. Should I up the dosage to maybe 12ml per 2 liter on this particular plant? Recommend dosage is 8ml per 2 liters.
Thanx for any advice.

Alright another feeding day. Today I took some ppm measurements.

Tap water 180ppm’s seems kinda high for just water.

After adding Nutrients 1886 ppm’s.

Runoff was off the charts. My meter only goes to 2000 ppm’s.

I have a brand new meter so next feed I plan on using it. But it’s the same style meter.

So with 2 liters I used
8ml of Potassium ( Micro)
12ml of Phosphorus ( Bloom)
5ml of Nitrogen (Grow)
4ml of Bud Candy
4ml of Big Bud
4ml of Cal/Mag

So I made 2 separate 2 liters for each plant. Totaling 1 gallon. With maybe 15% runoff. I water each plant with 2 liters then wait 15 minutes. Then do the other liter. I did the molt method. I moved all the surface soil to the center then watered. Then watered the center area with the 2nd 2 liters. Plants are looking great. I did find an odd ball looking thing in a flower but don’t know what it was. Maybe it’s just an unfertilized seed pod.

So I’m approaching Week 4 of flower. So today I decided to pull the plants out and give them a up close visual inspection. Remove any dead of dying leaves. Maybe remove so huge fan’s as well. Plus I want to look for any signs of Nanners. First plant I thought I saw 1 single pod. With out thinking I pinched at it. And immediately put it in one of may 5 gallons of water. Then I thought. Man I should have took a picture. To late. So I pulled the plant completely out and sit it on a stand. I went branch by branch, stem by stem and bud by bud. I didn’t find anything. Not taking any chances. I sprayed water around the area to make sure. If your wondering I have a pair of readers with 3.25 magnification.

Do the next one. It’s good. Do another and another. Then Bam. I see a few on the lower branches. Of what looked to be nanners. So I clip off the whole little bud. Mind you this is the lowest of the plant. Looked like it hasn’t opened. Then I found 2 that had opened. I’m like No Way. Scanned the entire plant. Nothing. Next few were ok. Then another. Same deal as before. A couple on the lower part of the plant on some larfy limbs. So I cut the buds off. Looked like they haven’t opened. Then I noticed a small pistil coming out of it. I was relieved. So then I grabbed the wiry weird 1 my wife wanted to keep. My wife likes weird looking ugly things. She married me. Anyways. No soon then I looked in this thing. I knew it was Queen Hermaphrodite. Well crap. I didn’t look any further. I cut the stalk at the ground and trashed it Immediately. I don’t know if any of the nanners opened of not. Really didn’t want to know. Because the possibility of damage has already been done. Don’t know how far her pollen could have traveled. I don’t aim my fans at the bottom of my plants. I aim them towards the lights. So as of hence forth. I will be pulling them out on a daily basis to ensure I don’t see anymore. I’ll post some pics later. Thanx for reading.

Man, that is definitely a full on herm. Those are balls and pistils, not even nanners 😳😒

Whats the breeder and strain on these?

I also agree with @CannaGranny, you should water mist everything.
To be honest I think that was a seed from some Cherry -gar-see-ya. It came off a clone I grew last year. Not sure how it got in the mix. It just resembled it. I can’t say a breeder because it didn’t come from one.

Sup man, nice grow and unfortunate about the nanners but C'est la vie :p.

Now is the time to really dial in WHY she nannered. Its a genetic trait for sure, but something in your grow could have triggered the trait to activate. Some strains that are prone to hermie's dont when given an ideal environment free from any stress.

Are you still at 1800ppm? I think that is a tad high even for soil, but I only grow in coco. I run no more than 750ppm in my coco grows. I used to go up to 1200ppm but 1800ppm might be getting into the toxicity level. Someone more knowledgeable than I could def chime in on this. @Aqua Man @Dirtbag @Mad Max @Moe.Red

It could also be caused by a million other things like heat, light, cold, poor choice of music (lol). Really gotta scrutinize your whole setup and get to the cause. If your whole grow is primo, then at least you made sure everything is good, cant hurt to check!

The plants look amazing though so your not far off from an A+

Thanx for the compliment. I try to stay on top of thing. And yes the last feed was 1886 ppm. But I failed to mention I didn’t clean out the reservoir before hand. Not sure if that played a part buts it’s possible. Plus I didn’t check the feed ppm’s. Definitely going to that tomorrow. That way I know where my numbers are at. The plant look healthy. No real signs of anything. All the plants are eating the same. Drying out the same. They even look the same. Except some stretched more than others. Like you mentioned above. Genetics. I may have planted a Herm seed and got a Herm in return.
