hey, server space ain't free, least i could do is pay for the privilege of being a pain in y'alls ass :ROFLMAO: funny how the ban hammer didn't cancel the patron sub to the farm.

might be worth letting any other exiles that were supporters there that they need to go and turn that off because logic certainly isn't gonna turn down their money.

Super stoked you are here tobh!

First thing I did when I left that place was cancel my Patreon account. In the process it asks why you are leaving. I left a note for the ball-less wonder that read

"you know why".

I appreciate the kind feedback.

Please feel no pressure to donate. There are lots of ways to pay it forward here does not need to be cash.

Do what is comfortable.
What is another way we can contribute? I got that American debt i was told about as a kid lol

I should be able to contribute financially after my next harvest. About to sell my old Gameboy Advance SP (v2 with backlight and classic NES skin) on ebay. i just found out they are worth over $100, if you have the backlight one and the classic skin that apparently people still want like me when i bought it lol. If you want the gameboy i can send it to you instead of selling it (just so much headache sometimes listing on ebay) . i have one of those mega cartridge things you can put in the cartridge slot that lets you play roms through the OG software/hardware.

The best way to contribute is to make this a place worth coming to and hanging out.

At this point it is a numbers game. The more users we have the more likely it is we will have $ contributing members.

We are not hurting financially, just a lot of start up costs that will take a while to pay back.

Appreciated, are you all settled into the new place?
we're at the new place. settled, far from. have to keep reminding myself that i'm not single anymore, have two trophies and a woman so landing somewhere new isn't as simple as unloading a few boxes and a bag or two.

i'll say this, though. i see a quiet mind soon, or at least something less noisy. i can see and hear the wind coming before i feel it, watch the animals exist with no mind of me, and hear no other human aside from their comings and goings. vastly different from the city. kind of surreal, tbh.

Did you move very far, or just same state away from the city? New starts are stressful but good, especially if you're improving your surroundings.

We moved about 1.5 hours from our old place, same state. Went from a suburb of Portland OR to a rural community about midway between Portland and Seattle.

Definitely glad we're finally here. I closed on the house back at the end of April, and am looking forward to finally getting all the furniture in and it being a "home" instead of what's been a perpetual state of chaos for like a month.
