CannaGranny’s Corner a Thread For General BS and Good Will On BudBuilders

Mornin Yiz Menz!
Fantastic climb Ninja! Gorgeous scenery too, thanks for sharing with us!
Mornin Steamy, it’s hump day, Friday is on the way!
Morning @Tremojem ! I would never give up the peace and solitude for convenience for sure. This morning the only sound around me is the wind and the birds singing.
@Stoneyluv , no worries I have local grocery stores I can get bananas from. I just do all the major shopping four times a year, but I do visit my local grocery stores at least once a month. Small stuff, fruit, bread when it gets too hot to bake and milk..stuff like that. Saves me tons of money to shop like this. We go to a grocery warehouse where this cost is ten percent above what the grocery store paid for it. It’s huge, takes a lot of time and I have to bag and load all of my own stuff. Getting home with it all, unloaded and put away is a chore! How did the wine turn out?
We are getting ready here, maybe should be building an ark! 9-12” of rain over the next few days. My place don’t flood, but all the major roads around us do. Just had a two hundred gallon gas tank set for my generator so I suspect we are as ready as we can be.

Currently when I go, I spend 400-600. But that’s not the entirety of the cost as I buy all of my meat fresh from the Amish and local farmers. Now, I can go into my local store and spend a 100.00 and may come out with three bags! Can’t walk in there for less than fifty! Living in a tourist town does not help either. Garden time saves considerably too.
Good job on the Vino!

Good Morning CannaGranny. Love that your song this morning was birds and a breeze. Now that's music to my ears.

Stay dry and thumbs up on the 100 gl tank.

I have to upgrade my generator. Just not ready to part with my cash. Plus I am waiting for a better economic outlook and really don't want to feed the ass hat orange clowns economy, which like him, is a failure from conception.

Our news is saying record flash flooding in a pretty large section of the Midwest into the Ohio valley.

Everyone in that area please take care and keep an eye on runoff levels, streams and rivers.
Thanks tom .Ya there is water everywhere here in north eastern indiana. On a positive note should be an amazing morel mushroom season with all the rain we are getting.

No worries. My place does not flood, what happens is all the roads in and out do. No problem, I’ll just stay home til it runs down.
Wouldn’t be no other choice unless you left before it floods. Which I doubt you would do. High ground is a good place to live. I live on top a mountain so if it ever floods the planet is in big trouble, lol.

Brave camera man too.

edit: Camera person......
But wait...it wasn't a tripod with a digital camera that was remotely controlled, taking stills at a rate of 1000 frames per second...or some crazy frame rate. Isn't that round traveling faster than the speed of sound?

I am ignorant to weaponry but I am so very interested in the science and engineering of it all. I like weaponry and my wife and I always wanted to skeet shoot and legally own pistols and go to range, but just never pursued it. Now wishing we had. I am confident someone is chuckling over my ignorant use of the word "weaponry".

Early in my career, I met and worked with a gunsmith. He was so interesting. He worked in a fabrication/machine shop. He was the highest ranking and most respected gentleman in the shop. Any project of mine that demanded his level of precision and craftsmanship, was assigned to him. Cool guy cool science, cool engineering.

According to my chronograph I’m pushing 3025’ feet per second. If that gives you an idea about a dasher also called a six mm. 🙂
