Sorry, I havenโt used bennies since I was a teenager.Does anyone else use bennies before the res change?
I'm using TPS Billions and mfg recommends to use it before a res change, i run it for 30 minutes before change. Funny, i swear this recommendation wasn't there 2 years ago and this was something i did off experience because of how potent the product is to minimize bacteria blooms even at the smallest doses.
Curious if this is common or unique with this product.

Nothing to do with a flush just all it needs to work, i think it's wild how this is what I was doing before the manufacturer changed the recommendation because this is what works from experience. They don't even say 30 minutes, they're saying immediately dump it, the 30 minutes is my own addition from what works, and how long it takes me to make nutes, waiting on silica, etc... lolUse the product for just 30 minutes before change/ then discard?
I am not sure I would be following those directions unless the addition is like a 'flush'.
Must be a US thing. Never heard of it up here but assumed it was a drug slang.
Sounds like a good timeMust be a US thing. Never heard of it up here but assumed it was a drug slang.
โit is an older slang term for a combination of barbiturates and amphetamines used as a recreational drug.โ
Maybe i bought the wrong float valve, it did say it was made for RO water now that i think about it. It takes the standard 1/4" hardline that RO systems use. No issue the first run, which was when i was only topping off with RO water, oh man that hindsight about knocked me over just hit me so hard lolGood catch and fix. Looks like you'd need almost sterile water for a pinhole to suffice. I wonder if there was a specialized use the valve was designed for, or are they all made like that?
Sons got all the switch and Steamdeck stuff but Iโm into that pie man. Looks great! Chicken or Turkey?I'll tell you one thing if I don't tell you two by the end of this

I made my own thickener this time instead of using the canned cream of mushroom soup. I used fresh mushrooms, butter, and a lot of flour, worked perfectly!!Chicken
Iโll have to think about this. Never made one, eaten many.I made my own thickener this time instead of using the canned cream of mushroom soup. I used fresh mushrooms, butter, and a lot of flour, worked perfectly!!
My family is a big potato family. Unless a mince or fruit pie it had potatoes.I also like to add potato which isn't a normal for pot pie.
You had to go a ruin it didnโt ya.And the "chicken" is a mycellium based vegetarian "meat" no soy
I'm the only vegetarian weirdo on here i thinkbut that's fine with me, my wife eats meat, no pun intended lol
Yeah, but i bet you would never know if i didn't tell you, it's that good.Iโll have to think about this. Never made one, eaten many.

Iโd know. Good nose. Family used to try and trick me with little things like substituting margarine for butter in a five gallon pot of mashed potatoes.Yeah, but i bet you would never know if i didn't tell you, it's that good.
I was heavy into Buddhism at a time when meditation and heavy introspection saved me from a serious depression hole that was on the verge of being fatal. I heard something from the universe while in deep meditation that said to stop eating meat. I made a vow that i haven't broken once since then, 15+ years ago. I respect all life and believe we aren't the only beings with souls. Ah, that's just me, and it doesn't affect my opinion on what others eat.
That's the back story, also i lost a loved dog at the time, and truly believed he had a soul, and if did, why wouldn't other animals. That change was the beginning of a huge transformation for me to be a better person, better friend, and more of the person i always wanted to be.
Idk if that makes sense to anyone else but it's made all the difference on who i am today.
I got you, my chili is a big winner with even die hard huntersIโd know. Good nose. Family used to try and trick me with little things like substituting margarine for butter in a five gallon pot of mashed potatoes.
Iโd try a bite of the pie before committing. Go from there.![]()
Other than farm pests, coyotes and groundhogs, I only shoot targets. I was getting into turkey when Covid hit. Havenโt hunted since. Watermelons and coconuts fear me.I got you, my chili is a big winner with even die hard hunters

Yeah I've heard horror stories. First on my list under the hood is timing chain replacement, got the parts and the special tools just came in today.Vinyl work looks great! Looks like a pro was hired to do it. Nice work!
MINIs are fun cars, but I have a lemon we bought for our daughter rotting outside. She just had her heart set on it and she's always been a good student and all around great kid. So, I was a softie, but it was a bad purchase on my part. It has the shitty N12 by Peugot. We ended up getting her a Subaru to replace it. When the garden wraps up, I'll use the cooler Fall weather to do some more wrenching. Not looking forward to it, but it would be nice to get it done. I've collected way to many specialty MINI tools.
