I seen some stuff about Athena in the AutoPots newsletter today
https://ctrk.klclick1.com/l/01JX091KFG1GRNSYWK7Y5BWCK7_6
He is doing a run using Athena.
Part 1 he explains a lot and I see I brought the wrong Athena product.
Eh, it worked pretty good anyway.
I like the soil mix he is using and the super chunky perlite too. I am going with mostly soil next time.
Each bag is $77 WOW

He put a good amount of perlite in the bottom instead of the clay balls I used this time.
Either way I go it’s going to be an expensive start up.
I have used and really like Mother Earth Groundswell with great results.
I think it’s about $35 a bag (1.5 cu ft).
Sunset Sunrise works.
Sunrise starts at 8am but Sunset starts at 750 I got it mixed up lol and missed it every time I was looking for it.
I finally noticed it when looking at the PAR value in the app.
Readjusted my deep reds and side lights and everything‘s good now.
I also adjusted the feed levels down to about 900 ppm and the light will go down to 85% tomorrow. I’m knocking it down 5% a week from now on..
Yes those are what I get in the compressed cubes. 3.2 cu/ft bales in Sunshine Mix, Promix or ABSGreenworld VPW30 $35-$40
This is what I use. Down to maybe 1/4 bale. Stores gone now and no one else carries it. (Home Depot had some last year in the outdoor section but they wouldn’t sell it.)
Still the #4 mix?Week 6 is here! Cruising along.
Moved the big shed to the corner of our property.
Was hard, had to remove the flooring to move it.
Tractor was of no use. I had to move it by shear force.
Took me a almost a week, with a pause cause of rain and another wk for me to recover.
Got some grass growing already, where it use to be.
Got it done tho.

Also moved out my lazy Daughter's stuff out of the GH.
She was mad as hell and The next day, her and boyfriend, moved it to her place, with wagons, a few blocks away,
It's crazy no one in this family drives or owns a car but us, well we used to have a car.
So now trying to sprout some seeds in the GH with lil luck so far.
The cucumber seeds all sprouted and some of the chives also sprouted.
Have to use seeds, no way to get plants from HD or Walmart.
Plants are doing well.
A lil burn from my vigorus feed in previous weeks (1300ppm).
Down to 800 PPM and holding now.
I did add some Flower Fuel to both tanks and will continue that one more week.
1/4 tsp. per gal.
Light is 80% and will stay there till next week (7) then down another 5% to 75%
I'll turn off Deep Reds @ wk 8 prob.
10" above the highest and 65k lux reading at tree top lvl. Leaf temp is @ 77%
Not much tri's right now but did notice the sidelights are helping the buds nearest to get lots of sugar.
I wish I set up the side's a little sooner and had another set too.

My electric bill with this masive 800w light is less than my old 480w light.
$175 vs $250
I set humidifier @ 50% it rarely gets it down lower than that anyway.
I raise and lower intake/exhaust fans depending on the room temp/hummi
Cannot understand why the CO2 raises suddenly then goes down.
Intake air comes from a pipe leading to the alley. But not many cars use it.

Nope maybe next grow if I can get it.Still the #4 mix?
Hey, Nice crop, That should last you a while eh. It looks like your lattice work is doing the job. All standing upright and looking great. Your yard is huge now...more work to mow it too, You'll need a ride on, then mowing the yard is fun and you'd have wheels to get to Home Depot with a small trailerWeek 6 is here! Cruising along.

I hope but now I got the itch and can't wait till the next one.Hey, Nice crop, That should last you a while eh. It looks like your lattice work is doing the job. And you said you had no wheels....They're a pain in the ass to remove the mower deck and then get them back on ....but...it makes them easier to hop curbs with in traffic once they are removed....Cops would only give an old guy riding to Home Depot a warning anyways. Take advantage of our senior years plead senility and that you've lost it, they might give you an escort, lights and all...Hat on sideways and keep calling them dear.I hope but now I got the itch and can't wait till the next one.
I'll prob hold back as long as I can, to let the summer heat roll by
and start veggin' in Aug., maybe.
Yep, brought it ($400) before I owned the land, in anticipation of getting it.
I'm like a boy scout horder, almost always prepared.

They are great but should have started them sooner in the grow. How do you like those SF lights on the sides? I'm still playing with some under canopy lighting...just need to find some I like instead of what I've been using. I like the covered diodes so plants can be right up against them without burning.
