New to Bud builder's hello everyone

@Cheesey hey bud, that tent is 3x2 (secret jardin D90) that's the heart of my grow it takes care of mum's, clones and seeds.

Last year I bought another 2x2 for vegging my 12-12 seeds but it's not great tbh a 2x2 tray for example doesn't even fit in it.

idk but a 3x2 seems to have acres of space

That aside having another tent and t5s to veg them in 12-12 is massive help previously I had to swap trays around at lights off/on however I survived it

The pump size I'm unsure about myself bud?
The pump I use in the cloner is a basic 6/7w powerhead, its basically a pump that draws in air to help oxygenate the water.
I just bought a budget one but now I've tried it I wouldn't mind spending a bit more on a quality model?

Yes, that was correct 10wks ± in the fridge then rooted, fwiw even after I bleached 2 of them with led they still rooted ok...jfc I tried them in 3 lots 8/10 weeks.

The blueberry has a bit to go yet its circa 5wks atm but I'm a little suspect about it?

It smells outstanding ime with blueberry it's 10/10 but check the buds they're barely worth flowering?

For comparison there's a triangle kush at the right.

It's also covered in brown pistils and has been pretty much since the start then I seen nanners so that's not encouraging.

I've got blueberry that yeilds reasonably well I'm thinking about maybe trying to cross them?

I can't remember if I said I'm hoping to make crosses under t5s or even under the canopy?

Making seed isn't really my thing but if I can do for £3 a week then yes it could be interesting

I picked up a tiny 60/40/60 just to give me bit more space and possibly veg a little but doesent sound good from your exp?

I'm interested to give the bubbler a go they seem easy to make just few bits, neopreme collars a pump n some lines n stones ?
Worth it if get better strike rate?

I read you need 10l per min rating? Must depend on tank size?

I never knew clones kept so long what do you put them in?

Yea mate I've seen n read that unfortunately the bbm smelss and can look part in some phenos but flavour or smell don't generally carry thru the cure?
Yea you are onto the right thing to get it banging it's good foundation for a cross? Lots of others doing same thing if I were you your blue cross exo be banging I'd have some?
Yes my dude maximise your energy and space if you can get something from the seed for such little cost time effort then why not?

The bubbler is good they do work great there's no doubts, I used a paint scuttle, some 1.5" mesh pots to hold the neoprene collars, 2x 12" stones, a pump, tubing T,s etc then I learned just a £5/6 powerhead pump worked much the same

Tbh I hadn't thought much beyond the exo x blockbuster pollination project I don't want to get ahead of myself lol
I was thinking about using that blueberry to cross into another good yielding blueberry and see what happens, crossing it with cheese would certainly be another option if everthing works out?

I seen roots on that mini exo cut above this morning...yeh!!

Idk where I got the 16th from it was the 24th Jan I cut it.

I didn't mention the other fdm I'm thinking about growing next?

There's some mixed packs of Indiana Bubblegum, og kush and Cinderela about £1 a seed.

I also got that janis, general's daughter, sweet tooth, challah cake and a pk of Ace mixed, so much for winding down

Clones...I put them in a plastic tub but ruined them when I removed them from the fridge and water precipitated onto them.

the next lot a put in a zip top bag and put them in the bottom of fridge again and didn't remove them until getting used, they were in surprisingly good condition I mean a bit mould but only small patches, I thought maybe with a spray of chlorine water, sulphur smoke etc might help them last longer again?

This is the 3rd crop I've grown consecutively in 12-12 then 11-13hrs after sexing and it's working out 2/3 weeks faster than a previous 12-12 with everthing else being the same except 12-12 right through from seed but those needed 10/11 weeks to finish and with 11-13hrs they've needed 7/8 weeks each time to get to harvestable bud.

That's quite a difference yes i agree and tbh there's quite a difference in the plants size for that hour difference.

Those were potted immediately after sexing it was after this iirc I decided to wait longer before potting in future hoping to limit stretch further by not having a big root ball to grow from during stretch?

So yeah a big difference all round it really is remarkable the effect 1hr less has on them

Hey bud, that one was 12-12 right through from seed and potted up immediately after sexing.

The marks on the leafs were caused me air layering a clone from it you can just see the ball at the bottom of the branch.


I didn't want to cut the branch and waste those buds so I let it grow on and air layered a clone instead, it turned out to be a waste of time but that's another story.

I had literally 1000s of bud pics but I've deleted 99% them recently, I thought I could download them anytime from "Roll it up" but it's crashed about a week maybe ten days I think it's gone now

I've not weighed my crops for ages so I can't say for sure but I don't think I'm loosing anything with 11-13hrs because I'm able to fit more plants in being shorter and more manageable size.

I can grow 2 per now pot it works fine, actually I could argue they done better they did do better than some with a pot of their own.
Jfc they're bent over like that to fit under the light.

Good question I've a few I'd like to try like fdm bubblegum, cinderela and Janis along with magic bloom Tuscan gelato, dosi sherbet and maybe pia gow x meat breath and a few other's?

I've already prepared 1x exo, kush and lemon cherry gelato to veg and train into decent sized plants, the 3 of them have been my main smoke since last harvest they're all so damn tasty!!

I will probably take my current grow to 11-13.
I am doing the slow flip from 18-6 at 1 hour every 3-4 days.
Probably give them 12-12 until week 6-7 flower then go 11-13.
Here in October [fall] the first week has only 11 1/2 hours daylight.
I grew very well for years outdoors.

I use tap water in mine without any problems rooting, i add a little chlorine (3-4ppm) to keep nasties at bay it's reasonably cheap per 1lb it'll lasts for years check out pool shock if you're interested

I've never tried 11/13 but if you say your happy and not noticibly losing then I may try it out
I've always grown organic soil but I do feed too so iam tempted to go coco, can't be that different?
The fdm do look good worth a try my man work your magic n see what happens

11-13hrs yes it's working out great, fwiw before I tried 11-13hrs my average flower time was 10/12 wks even longer sometimes 11-13 or maybe less is a pheno hunters best friend, I'm still astonished by it and a bit surprised it's not more popular?

My tent is 5 x 5ft but my canopy is 4x4ft ± a bigger tent gives me a space for a heater, dehumidifier and myself, I like space to sit with tea and a joint and just enjoy watching and maybe adjusting a leaf here or there

You might remember I had a little side project the aim was ro keep it short but not to ruin it in doing so.

After it started slowing I eased up on trimming the leafs. (Middle)



In the middle photo it's sister's are directly behind and left

It might be easier just to veg less hrs idk but trimming the leafs on the taller specimens might be worth a shot?

What size pots are you planning on using and how long will you veg? I let my plants veg and like them to bush. If you lollipop them you can get up 9 in 2gal pots. I use fabric 3 & 5gal so they take up more space. Here's a p8c of my small tent 40x40x80" with 2 3gal clones, 5gal auto l, clones in cup germ hood. Hope that helps a little, all how you arrange them.

Nice mate, yea it's actually alot harder with the led cheddar as it changes the bud shape you only get the wild dreadlocks fixtailing from certain conditions and with old lights, are many exo variants each got there own twist, I agree it's most tasty n satisfying strain ever and hits the same everytime which is real rarity now,
You did well with the pollination she should be full whereever you hit her up and more, just hope your other plants didn't take too

Hey SS tent brother, brand new used once, had to buy, always used budbox but ac 3x3 with the side doors sounds easier with crammed tent, I'll be using cyclone 6 inch silent fan the long cyl type, silencer too if need be

About a year ago I swapped to autopots from dtw I'm liking the autopots, I only have to keep a reservoir topped up weekly they're easy going.

I have the Vivosun 1.3gal and ac infinity 2.25gal and really like how they vivosun's are working. Haven't started using the ac infinity yet.

Its a long shot but does anyone know anything about electronics?

I've a dehumidifier with a less than ideal fan due to this the dehumidifier keeps freezing and defrosting.

I'm wanting to add my own fan and speed controller but when I unplugged the fan from the circuit board the dehumidifier goes into defrost mode?

Looking at the control board I know I'm out my depth does anyone know anything about that types of electronics?
