morphology changed on this plant, rapid growth though

Probably stress induced morphology change, while adapting to the new 2/2 schedule
I would agree that its stress induced. I only say that because usually 1 and 3 finger leaves are a sign of stress or reveg and you are not revegging that afaik.
But seems to be starting to grow out of it too.

Indeed
But seems to be starting to grow out of it too.
curious to see how it develops, where it keeps 1/3 finger leads or goes back, interestingly it's the only one that responded that way to the 2/2 change, I'll double check.

The photon schedule stressed it, the exact mechanism for inducing those 1/3 finger leads, I don't know, would like to.

Ok I'm probably going to switch back to 16 hours from 12hour 2/2

That's a week of experimenting.

I will need to be more patient give it more time next time, or hell, next 2/2 maybe start the plants out that way.

I'll need to keep the PPFD low to go back to 15hrs+

Wether it's speeding maturity, that's left to be answered.

But does show that you can veg under 2/2-12 hours of light , if you wanted to I guess, less electric bill I suppose.

Wow wasn't like that last night.

Ok so 2/2 is interesting, perhaps the next time I test it , I'll do it with new plants

I've switched the timer back to normal veg hours dropped the ppfd

As they lose water content, it'll signal to them they need to develop roots, keep it in that state and provide the required inputs/ENV, should be spitting roots out.

In part, I refer to this also as "hormone signaling"

Some test cuts to clone.

Cut last night
