Observers' 2x4 Space

bout to grow a metric fuck ton of shrooms, soon.

so far lol

but im bout out of THC NIC and DMT, temporarily o_O🤣

hows ur day so far, i got some sleep while she napped
Day was pretty decent, both kids went to school today since the little dudes pink eye is gone.
But next thing i knew the alarm to get them off the bus was going off lol. Apparently i slept for a few hours🤣
I too am running low on thc, but about to harvest 2 plants in ~10 days and i have prolly about a half oz left 🙄😳
Need a bigger space but my wife wont budge on using the laundromat lol.
Says selling the washer and dryer so i can have the laundry room is stupid.
Well i can put them in our bedroom too ya know 😏
She wont budge on that either 🙄😑

right, i need to that one left over done.

well....it odes suck using laundromats, we have not had a washer/dryer since weve started, it fuckin SUCKS

gotta go to my parents to wash or a laundromat...cost us ~40$ once for 4 loads or so

partners...🙄

Whoa, its a lot cheaper here. Only 3.00-4.50 a load depending on the size washer ya use, then $.25 per 12 minutes of dry time.
It was about 20 bucks a week when we were using the laundromat.
I could put the washer n dryer in my bedroom where the tents are and then have a 6x12 grow room but she wont let me do it. Kinda pisses me off not gonna lie lol.

grow room..... 👊
🎯

She says when we move i can do whatwver i want for the grow we jsut need a bigger place first
indeed....we would be set with a 3BR house rn, maybe year after next, that 3rd room would be the cultivation/lab if room

I would need a 4br or a 3br with a functional basement.
My oldest is not enjoying sharing a room with his little brother anymore so id need a room for each of them plus myself and wife lol.

i kinda like it, gives options to make things how ya want

ah fuck the tourist lol
But wayyyyyyyyy too much money. Its next door to my FIL, not even close to finished and in a shitty spot come summer time once the tourists all roll in.
yea... i gotta get my/a career going.

and its gonna be something with cultivation , definitely, gotta make my own way

I just know what the guy has in the house and property and its not even close to 250k
Plus it still needs a well, septic, electrical, plumbing, and a heat source....

Not worth 250k, but i might be wrong idk.

yea itll probably take another 250k to get it finished, idk. lol

I figured prolly about 100k to finish it but thwts still a lot on top of the 240 they are asking.
hmm 340k for a house like that, idk dont sound too bad, ik housing market is fucked

My father-in-law built next door to this one, 2 years ago. You can see his roof through the trees in the porch picture in that ad lol. And he's only got 145k into it. Thats buying the 1.2 acres of property and building the house but he did it himself with his dad.

You let me see what I’m missing, or avoiding, depends on the outcome. 🤣
ahhhhh ha.

so ive heard of this before, back to it again because now i actually know and see or comprehend it now and what it means/works

The matric potential of rockwool is a crucial parameter for understanding its water holding and drainage behavior, vital for its role in horticulture and hydroponics. Here's a breakdown of the term and its relevance to rockwool:

Matric Potential:

  • Represents the energy required to remove water from a porous material like soil or, in this case, rockwool.
  • It's a negative value, with lower values indicating stronger water binding and higher values indicating easier water extraction.
  • Typically measured in kPa (kilopascals) or cm of water column.

Matric Potential of Rockwool:

  • Rockwool has a unique pore structure, with a mix of large and small voids. This translates to a bimodal matric potential curve.
  • At low tensions (high negative values), water is tightly bound in small pores, resulting in a steep decrease in matric potential with increasing suction.
  • At higher tensions, water becomes easier to extract from larger pores, leading to a plateau or less steep decline in matric potential.

Implications for Horticulture and Hydroponics:

  • Understanding the matric potential of rockwool helps growers optimize irrigation strategies.
  • Low matric potential ensures adequate water retention for plant growth, while high potential allows excess water to drain freely, preventing waterlogging.
  • Different rockwool types and densities have varying matric potential curves, requiring adjustments in watering practices.

Examples:

  • Rockwool slabs for vegetables typically have a matric potential of around -10 kPa at saturation and -4 kPa at field capacity (ideal for plant growth).
  • Rockwool cubes for seedlings might have a slightly higher matric potential, around -5 kPa at saturation, to facilitate easy rooting and avoid waterlogging.

Limbo seeds....

Guess I'll move up to 1.0 E.C if not a little higher

sorry, but KISS is for actually STUPID people

yall are smart

it is a fucking grow forum, the point is to share knowledge, new methods and techniques, show off what youve learned, no?

and people bring this ignorant shit to the forums, i do not like it or agree with it, take that shit out of here.

its a grow forum
the whole point is to find the best ways to do something, or to constantly improve designs and methods, going deeper in the sciences, and share new ideas and thoughts, communicate.

what works, what doesnt, what works really well, what may work even better, etc.

i am so sick of ignorant ass people

maybe, partly, just me taking things the wrong way

but fuck peoples ignorance & condescending attitudes.

We all have our interests and rabbit holes.

You happy, not bothering anyone, doing your own thing? Fuck’em. 🤷‍♂️

Friends poke fun. Assholes bring opinions and attitude. Ignore the later.

I think your nuts doing so many plants at once. But in a nice way. A way that respects your efforts and learns a few things from your interests and attempts.

So you be you brother. I might shake my head or giggle here and there but I’m in. Never a dull show here.

Zen 🍿

good words friend

appreciate you

ill take that as a compliment, haha. i love my plants, brings my RH up too ;p, and as pipecarver mentioned, its like hitting a lot of balls at once, (pracitcing golf), "practice" and learning as fast as i possibly can, high functioning.

👊 lots more to come, im basically just scratching the surface.

the "science" goes deep.

probably need to water

im actually underwatering plants now lmao and not overwatering as much

lol, and i cut 2 tops off a pre-98 bubbakush X GDP to Clone

and im probably going to germinate the rest of those Royal Queen Seeds....the 4 i popped are in fuckin limbo/purgatory, lmao.
