Be sure to post pictures of your grow room as you move along.
It'll be a 1-2 day thing but ya I'll try, just a few framed walls and a nicely sealed door maybe 7x6x8.5 and keep my 3x3 outside it. If I can get him to do this when I need it in 3 weeks time. Hes coming over Saturday and I'll get him to give me a material list then coordinate it after I harvest . My vegging plants will be fine for a few extra days in the 3x3.

I was doing a bit of house cleaning on my flowering girls and broke a couple of lowers off. Nice little sticky & sparkly 8 week old buds Modified Blackberry Moonshine via Cherry Pie

Nice tricome bling! Cheers SS
For lowers yes they are very nice. I kinda fked up again, I was about to turn down my lights to 85% after 8 weeks and I turned off the front light with a simple touch of the nob....wtf now? oh shit my light was turned down to its lowest setting since the last time i took pictures...ah 2-3 weeks ago...and I didn't notice I hadn't turned it back up...on closer inspection all the buds directly under that light are smaller but also far frostier, specially down low where the sugar leaves are also all curled & encrusted with frost. All the same strain growing and the buds that got 30% light are...frostier??? cool...lolBlackberry Moonshine w8a.JPGBlackberry Moonshine 1.JPGBlackberry Moonshine 2.JPGBlackberry Moonshine frosty lowers 1.JPGBlackberry Moonshine frosty lowers 2a.JPGBlackberry Moonshine frosty lowers.JPGBlackberry Moonshine w8.JPGnew crop, fan,far red, heater.JPG

I think it had low light intensity for 2-3 weeks during its prime, not much girth but shiny & sparkly.
I've noticed similar results on the lower stuff on my grows, shaded spots. Really makes me think about hearing breeders talk about growing plants in the shade outdoor, certain strains preferring it and such. Wonder if it made the trichome production better if that's what they meant by preferring shade or if it were something else like herm traits coming out in the direct sun? Sorry just random brain fart thought. Or maybe it tells me I need to move my light further away than I think 🤔

I had feed issues this grow so turned my lights down to 75% around week 5/ 6 and really don't regret it.
Going to harvest around week 9 or 10 like usual with some nice buds. Less than they could have been for multiple reasons, but other than that nothing wrong with em.(y)

looking at the others buds of the same strain, along with being a bit frostier they are smaller too under the same lights just at full strength

Wonder if the humidity and crazy weather added to the extra frosting?

My strawberry lemonade is doing the same thing.

Very nice, you've been putting out some nice plants there, pic of the month winner. lol it looks like you had a nice last harvest, humidity plays a part for sure.

The humidity is down here and my tent is around 40% now, I have my dehue running 24/7 constantly set at 30% but the low light buds are the frostiest. Its hard to get any pics of my uppers as they are up in the lights but they don't have the same frost covered buds. The one pic of a larger bud is typical of the rest of the plants bud type.

Plants won not me. 🤣
Last harvest was JB 4, PD 5, and SL 6 one litre jars. Doing multi strains is definitely more challenging.

I’m still fighting 60+% humidity at lights out in the 50’s with doors open lights on.

Two nights ago outside at 1am was 18* and high humidity but with strong winds. Last night was 5*, same tonight. Just waiting for the humidity to leave now.

Your plants always look great PC, some just stand out more. 👍

yes we've had some warm days too,Friday it was 22c here and 13-14c overnight. 3c this am and clear, about 10c now.

I got my garage door working with the motor opening and closing perfectly. 1 issue is the light comes on with power on and stays on, I gotta read the manual better I must have missed something, fine fking print and all. but ye ha I have an auto door, I'm all warm and fuzzy feeling...lol ...

another minor problem is 1 remote, if I leave it inside or misplace it and the door gets closed or is closed and I lose it......ah???..... There's an inside wired remote I'll have to put outside in a weather proofed lock box I guess.

Then there's the power outage problem. The manual release is on the inside and with no power there's no access to the garage / basement/workshop/grow room.. I figure I'll have to cut a hatch in, maybe on a hinge or just 4 screws holding it to the door I can unscrew in case I have to.

I talked to the carpenter about my grow room today, I'm just going to separate my space with a wall and door, a whole room would be awkward with all the ducting and odd shaped space, at least to do in a short window between crops. That will at least allow me to do wood work and not get wood dust all over my plants. I also have a large air purifier we used upstairs I can bring and help clean the new rooms air.

I was hoping to get more ceiling room but for now I'll have to stay in the tents

If your door has a remote there should be an outdoor keypad available to work along with it.
May seem like small beans but having my door openers is HUGE for me.
Pushing a button or entering 4 numbers is easier every time than lifting my doors.
And about the lights, still have both mine in the box they came in~!

I was hoping to see you build a room but still interested in how you make improvements.👊

It comes with a remote and a wired remote, the wired one is for inside but I don't have indoor access to it so it went outside. I just built a small box for it and stuck it outside the garage door I'll have to put some kind of lock on it or anyone can just walk up and get in.

My basement east & west meet at my tent. I have 8-9ft ceiling in places but with everything still in operation it would be too much to frame in a complete room. All he suggested was a wall and door he can do fast 12x 2x4's 2 sheets of plywood. I suggest the plywood rather than drywall, with the moisture I get I thought it better.

He helped me with my bike hoist again it wasn't centered right, we gotter now.basement east.JPGbasement west.JPGbike on hoist.JPGdoor box.JPGgarage.JPG

My room is 2x4s and foil faced foam.
For looks I put luann plywood on the outside.
None of it is load bearing so no real need to overbuild.

My flowering Blackberry Moonshine via Cherry pie at at 68 days. I've cut back on Grow, Micro and KoolBloom dry today I'll be dropping to their lowest feed at 2/2/2/4/4/5/1 ml/gal calmag/micro/grow/bloom/diamond nectar/peroxide/hyclean. After this feed today is gone I'll run FloraKleen through my res @ 10ml/gal until I have them all chopped.

My new crop is coming along great. I ran the far red for a week -10 days for 15 min at lights out and they stretched so much I had to shut it off and in the few days its gone off they've stopped stretching and are now filling in better after I topped them. I can see the different type of growth since turning it off in just 3-4 days. I really like the far reds on because the leaf expansion is so impressive but I can't deal with the height.BBMD68 up into lights.JPGBBMD68.JPGBBMD68crop.JPGBBMlowersd68.JPGNov 10 crop.JPG

How’s the room coming along?

Bob the Builder or Wreck it Ralph?
I'm just going to have a wall built with a door between my wood working and grow space. I have to time it between harvest and transplant from veg to flower tent. This week I hope. Plants should be ready and I'll order the wood this week. Once I get the plants cut and hung I'll have a day or 3 to get the wall built. its not a big job 12 - 8ft 2x4 - 2- 12 ft 2x4 & 2- 4'8' x 3/8 plywood sheets. a door and a couple of hinges

Seen your blackberry moonshine pic in bud of the month and had to run over here to have a look 😃

looks 🔥
Yes sir, they are at 69 days today and I'm getting excited for the chop. I'll run FloraKleen through them the last few days. I bought a gal about a couple of years ago to use as a salt controller in my Autopots but after reading the label its not really for that purpose and its to be used as a flushing agent??? I know, I know flushing is not needed but after my last run with it I found my smoke a bit smoother to smoke, so wtf I got it I'll run it again and it'll let a few plants go a few days longer without nutes

Basically the same thing really.removes salts is the same as flushing…I’ve just ran cannazym through one of my gals is a4 gal pot in coco.ran 30 litres through it got rid of all but 30 ppm .I’ve forgotten if you are in soil or coco.id b interested in how much it takes to reduce it right down to where you want it.sshz put up the one he uses and it mentions it use up its stored nutrients.

the one sshz uses

My local tote has the Botanicare one on sale, $10 litre. Cheaper than buying the 4 litre one. If you’re interested. I haven’t used it, just water, but at this price I might have to grab one or two as a test.

I try and use just 1 company for my nutrient regime so I stay with General Hydroponics stuff. I got this spiel about how the scientist that work at these companies use products that work together to provide everything the plants need. They want you to buy it again and have a successful grow with their products. A bit from Co A and some from Co. B then a bit of egg shells and don't forget cal/mag from Co. C and there's that left over fish shit from the roses.....whats my deficiency??? lol

I run Hyclean at 1ml/gal all through flower to help with salt build up but I'm not sure it does any good. I use Autopots and promix/peat based mixes 50/50/

I found me some nanners on 1 plant that's coming down after I finish this joint. Light stress no doubt, they fkin grew above my lights again.....gotta work on that...lol

Only mentioned it as it was half price and one of the two talked about. Not suggesting a change, just how to save a few $ if you were thinking about it.

My SL was the worst for standing up again. One branch is more like steps from me doing it over and over. But it’s the best one out of the three I grew. 🤷‍♂️
IMG_1402.jpeg

And go figure, the quantum board she likes better than the Photontek in the other tent. 🤦IMG_1403.jpeg

All I did was turn it down yesterday to 30000LUX as it looks like I have a calcium issue.

Getting there…
