I’ve always wondered when fertigating a planter and the larger the planter, the more of a question.

This is irrespective of the type (veg/flower) as well as strength of nutrient solution.

Do you:
1) water, fertigate, water?

2) Fertigate, water?

3) Simply all the liquid on feed day gets nutrients?

It always seems like the first method would be best, hydrate the roots, add nutrition and a drink to finish off the meal.
But, is that the best process?

It seems like the 3rd option introduces the possibility of over fertilization.

Enquiring minds want to know! ;)

I feed every watering at a third of whats called for on nutrient schedule
Both of us are in Autopots and feed through a reservoir with water lines. I feed about what they say on the label every feed with a full line from General Hydroponics flora 3 part + other additives as needed & Epsom salts every feed.

In soil only grows/promix I was feed /water/feed/water ect. but there are times you can back to back feed as they grow if they appear to light in color
