Recognize this bug?

I noticed this little thing on one of my weed plants today.

It has a mantis look to it but it’s small.

I see no leaves damaged so I’m thinking it’s a good guy, but I don’t recognize it.

That looks like an Assassin Bug nymph (likely in the genus Zelus, such as the Milkweed Assassin Bug or the Pale Green Assassin Bug).

Based on the orange body and the black-and-white banded legs visible in your photo, this is a beneficial predator to have in your garden.
