Awesome.I received the ph controller today. Looks like everything but the instructions. The sensor was included. I plugged it in and the motor works. I just need to figure out how to pump the ph and how much it doses. My res is only 10 gallon so will have to see how much it changes on dosing.View attachment 23361View attachment 23362
I think it's a hydrostatic pump. It pumps like an inch a second. Everything is dial controlled.Awesome.
whats the Green thing called?
Pics of the setup are always appreciated. So this is what I did. My res is at 5.8(may not be exact) I installed ph controller and set trigger at 8 and dropped sensor in and uncalibrated was 6.2 was on the controller. I squirt some ph up and it goes to 6.3. I then manually turn the dial slowly until it kicks on. I diluted the pH down 1 to 3 ro. Pumps continously until the sensor changes from 6.3. Mine dropped into the 5s and then after sufficient mix settled to 6.2.
I was using these 500ml squirt bottles to dose before I got the controller and these tubes fit perfectly over those squirt tips.
OK. Don't laugh. My setup is so janky.Pics of the setup are always appreciated.
So it's holding steady? I thought they were called peristaltic pumps?

I dint believe it man. My weather says the same thing.Next week is supposed to be hot here also. 80+ degrees.

You are right. I wasn't sure what the name of the pump. It didn't say the description but it was larger than I thought. It's holding steady at 6.2.
I am in serious need of a clean up.
I had it covered in cardboard to try and maintain more heat at night.

It's really cool here today as well and humid in the 70s so my exhaust fan is spinning it's wheels.I dint believe it man. My weather says the same thing.
But it also said on Wednesday that today was supposed to be sunny and 75.
It was more like 58 and rain 🌧
I ended up getting one of these as well. I should of had 2 more blue labs but they seem to have disappeared. Anyways, I got mine today. Less creator comforts than blue lab but should still can be dialed in I believe. I took a look at the instructions, (Joke). I checked calibration spot on out of the box. You have no control over the time the pump runs. I use phos acid which is heavier than water. Anyways I would suggest lowering the PH solution to about 25 percent strength and using the dial and start out one or 2 points about where you want to be. Adjust as required.I received the ph controller today. Looks like everything but the instructions. The sensor was included. I plugged it in and the motor works. Ya that pump is huge compared to the blue lab stuff. I might drop my PH down to 10 percent. The stuff I use is 70 percent out of the container and way to hot for those pumps so probably going down to 10 percent for me!Thanks for the tips Anthem. Good to know it was accurate right out of the box. Yeah. I wasn't sure about what triggered it to stop other than the reading. It seemed to pump continously until it dropped below the threshold.
Lol. That thing is bigger than a rubics cube!Ya that pump is huge compared to the blue lab stuff. I might drop my PH down to 10 percent. The stuff I use is 70 percent out of the container and way to hot for those pumps so probably going down to 10 percent for me!
You know why we read each others threads. Here is a flyover. Major defoiliation in a day or two when time permits. This is right before lights out. She's looking happy still.View attachment 23814

I get this message with my Firefox browser. But it's okay with Chrome and my tablet. I'm still trying to find a fix for the Firefox. It's not working with Edge either. Hmm.."NO VIDEO WITH SUPPORT FORMAT AND MIME TYPE FOUND"

@Moe.Red
TF?
x265 is the shit though for high quality compression compared to 264. I'm into the video compression/torrent scene and this format is def a game changer. I still remember the switch from xvid to mp4Ok..here is what I found.
HEVC is x265 format and it isn't free.
Firefox does not support the HEVC (H.265) video format. This is because HEVC is not a license-free codec, and Firefox has chosen not to license it. However, some other browsers like Microsoft Edge and Chrome do support HEVC5. The device handles the video decoding, and as such, the device OEM is responsible for licensing all required HEVC patents5.
So I have turned that off on my phone to avoid this caption in the future.
That's a huge savings from 500 to 70! Whenever I download I try to grab x265 for my plex server.x265 is the shit though for high quality compression compared to 264. I'm into the video compression/torrent scene and this format is def a game changer. I still remember the switch from xvid to mp4
Just had to reformat one of my videos from 264 to 265 to be able to upload here to make file size limitations. 500mb to 70mb, same quality using handbrake(amazing freeware video software to change video codes, containers, add filters, etc...) best software I've ever used for getting a specific format on a video for a legacy device.
Depends, using the CUDA from the GPU has the advantage of speed but is a quality reduction usually when compared to CPU. If I was making Blu-ray mpeg/iso files to burn I would always use CPU.That's a huge savings from 500 to 70! Whenever I download I try to grab x265 for my plex server.
@ninjadip, do you use your gpu to transcode or dual pass with cpu? Which do you prefer?
And DC bit level of 10.Depends, using the CUDA from the GPU has the advantage of speed but is a quality reduction usually when compared to CPU. If I was making Blu-ray mpeg/iso files to burn I would always use CPU.
