It seems to be working for you, but I was always told to dilute the nute before adding it to the solution. I usually do 4:1 water to nutes
no, i was never told that.. kinda glad i never had an issue. i do use my my stirring stick before i add each one...
they were good at first, like you say a sprout flavor and then it got real bitter on the back end like an over ripe dandelion. i'd be curious as to what the sugar content is, i'd like to try and make moonshine from ganga roots!!
Adding nutrient to a resevoir like that video?
Should be fine, imo.
i've never had an issue thus far. the floranova stained it a little but even that suff mixed up well.
Moe explained it to me and I ran a little experiment at the time.
You can take a cup of your solution and, if pour something in at full sgrength, you can actually see some of it precipitate out and fall to the bottom.
I tried it with pH Down, though, so maybe that's what he referenced. Not the nutes but the adjusters?
could that have been his video where he shows how a very high ph causes some of the micros to precipitate out? i believe he told me it was mostly the heavy metals that would separate like iron.
I battle to get out of the car sometimes and can’t move or walk.talk about a sharp pain..those lumber nerves on my lower right side hurt like crazy when my back goes but I’m sure my spines sending those signals like it’s squashing or pinching the nerve in spine…can’t do shit .i couldn’t get off...

Strong Sharknado vibes up in here!
On the plant you pulled...was it an equal and just slow developing or started later? Sorry for not following too close but it's got me thinking about my own situation and runts.
So I have two strains. Nine plants total and three runts in the nine from both strains.
I kept the runts up front so I could baby them and protect them from being choked out.
They snap out of being runts for the most part and do their thing.
Now here we are in full bloom and the slow aspect of being runts has never left them. If I didn't know they were all started at the same time I'd believe the4 runts were started 3 weeks after the others because they're about 2-3 weeks behind in bloom.
It has me wondering if it was worth it to keep them?
Sure I'll get weed out of them but would I have gotten more weed from the other by giving up the space the runts used to other larger plants?
It's just something I'm at a crossroads here and seeing you take out a plant has me leaning more and more to less is more and not hanging onto runts or anything else that's slower than the main crop.
There's a greed there for sure...more plants = more weed. A thing where it's just too hard to kill a perfectly good fem plant even if it is slow and small. Some runts do produce great weed.
But IDK man....I'm really getting to the point of culling runts or anything that can't keep up with the peloton. I'll end up chopping my main crop then waiting two weeks for the runts to finish pretty much delaying the next crop and it's all for maybe 4-5oz, if that.
i'm not even sure "runt" is the correct term the way i'm using it. these plants were definitely smaller and took longer than other plants to get to the same size and grew smaller right from the very start.
these two plants were started as seeds on June 12th. they were started in a group of 18 total plants, three of each strain. after a few weeks when it was time to upcan these two did not make the cut, just smaller and under developed compared to the other 16.
so on august 12th they went into the hydro system, eight weeks since dry seed. on sept 27th they were flipped. the plant on the left started spitting pistils and flowering normal speed, again the plant was small so were the buds..
that other plant on the right just started showing pistils now.. three weeks after the left side plant did. i'm just not waiting that long for it, it never gonna be a record size breaker so i cut my loses sooner than later.
these plants were only going in for a test to see if my poison issue was gone and they passed. i should have started over way back on august 12th. keeping them going kinda fast forwarded my learning lesson though so i kept going just to learn. now i'm in so far and deep i gotta keep something going. by removing the other plant i will be saving on nutes and electricity because i was able to turn off the one 550.. so i'm flowering this plant from just one light. that might cut into my final yield as well but i'm good with it.
.
my new furnace arrives soon so once i get that all in place and i know what space i have to work with i'm going to either build a veg cabinet or use a tent. prolly a tent cuz it's quick and free! i honestly wouldn't mind dipping back into perpetual. i kinda like the one at a time versus the mono crop. it changed the way i feed and use the lights but lets be honest here, i never was good at the feeding schedule thing and i really don't believe adjusting my spectrum does anything at all.
.
so man what do ya say, are ya gonna take it easy on me in the race pool this very last weekend? how can i root for the 5 when you got him in the pool!!!
i think Reddick needs to finish 23rd or better to cancel out any bonus scenarios you could possibly get to beat me no mater what happens.
i gotta start looking for a new avatar, sad it's the last race of the season!!! i'm super excited for all the teams though man, this is what they worked hard for all year. the 5-11-19-24 get to lay it all out there for one last race and crown a king!!!! i mean no other sport does it like that!!
i hope it's a great race with great weather and may the best team win, unless it's the 11!!!! hahaha
C'mon #

!!!!!!!! go go go!!!!!!
Dealing with a runt myself. Kind of wish it didn’t make it as it looks two weeks behind the rest.
Another issue is one strain is looking perfectly healthy while the other strain looks like an N deficiency.
the difference in strength they wanted was also was giving me slight issue and i knew it would be even more amplified when the other one would quit eating and drinking, and then how do i even do a flush on time?? pull one without a flush, flush em both and let one run out nuteless for three weeks or more? screw that... "yanked"
what the fuck is a frush??
Here's my anecdotal evidence from my Guzzlers run.
4 seeds same strain.
Front left plant was the runt...

...but then she exploded in flower.

Highest yielder in the tent and was the closest to being finished, but I chopped early.
I say seeds are like a box of chocolates...

Runt is the front right. It was behind from the get-go. Lapped the others in flower.
these two were the front left two in this pic.. all the other plants had been topped and pruned already and these were just lagging in every way. the hydro was a test but then they kinda bushed out pretty quick so i thought maybe i was out of the woods and honestly if the rigt plant would have been at the same speed i would have kept it, it wasn't a size thing at all, it was a timing thing. plus what would i do with bud that leafy?? i'm super snobby as it is so i ain't gonna smoke any of that..
the good news is the one plant is starting to smell great and i hope i get something worth smoking and can't wat to finish up and go from testing to growing and start learning more details and not be so focused on the system and be more focused on the genetics and growth.
