Yeah it almost seems as if they know whats coming lmaoYikes!!
I was just surprised at the price. Makes since considering the fire hazard.

im quoting @Aqua ManIf it were me I'd bump it up, per Anthem's advice. But I could easily be wrong. He told me that if they're drooping a little before lights out, they've had enough light. Flat is good but could still be close to too much. Perked up like that, I would give them more, especially with how even the bigger fans are reaching for it. I'm only learning, though, so take that with a grain of salt.
I've also seen people say something like "praying" and correlating that to a happy plant.
What say you, @Anthem275?
I love this place. Someone needs to do a "thanks logic" thread and just thank him for being such a douche and for getting this place started HAHA
I picked up my Raging Kush for $995 refurbished. I talked to the company before purchase and these lights were basically shipping damaged, repaired and could not be sold as new. I was looking and those are no longer available. I'm seeing a big difference in this light over the Spider Farmer SE3000. Compare the grow I just harvested with the one under the Raging Kush that will finish in about 4 more weeks. So far, the difference is striking and these flowers have a long way to go still. We'll all know more in about a month.Yeah i would love to get a Gavita or the Scynce Raging Kush 2, but the price tags are way out of my league.
Not surprising. The Smell of Panic at The Farm - Hello Logic
Welcome LOGIC! We at Bud Builders welcome you and we want you to know we smell your panic. This purge from The Farm is not like the ones you have initiated in the past, is it? Something different about this one eh? Whether you realize it or not, it's not actually a purge on your part as much...budbuilders.org

And Moe has fuckin 6 or so of em lolNot surprising.
And I'd hope it would be better for $600 more (seeing SE3000 now for $300 range) lol
I was very impressed with Scynce.
I recently saw the new AC LEDs (bar array)they look good, but does not have the spectrum tuning feature.
Does the raging Kush?
I know one of the Scynce LEDs do
It also covers a 5x5 which the SE3000 is only good for a 3x3 and has full spectrum adjustment. Not surprising.

Indeed, so not too fair to compare that part, And as it does get more power. It also covers a 5x5 which the SE3000 is only good for a 3x3.
I need that spectrum tuning capability.I'd go out and buy Scynce right now if I had the cash
I had to sell my favorite guitar of all time to get mineI'd go out and buy Scynce right now if I had the cash
Interesting, because everything I know about red is it also contributes to cell elongation, as In taller/"stretchier" plants, blue keeps them shorter more compact.Dude, check out the node spacing on the two grow of mine, the one I just harvested, and the one in the 5x5. Same strain from the same mother, very similar conditions in the same room but different light. I cranked up the red and far red during early flower and I think that is what got the nodes so tight.
And yes, they have those lens's that help dispurse the light better. They have a lot of work to do on the app that runs the light, but the light itself is great.
I might have gotten it backwards. Either way, the flowering app for the kush raised that red to 80%. I just bumped it up to 100% a couple of weeks in. I'm still learning that stuff too and not had a lot of time to spend on it.Interesting, because everything I know about red is it also contributes to cell elongation, as I'm taller/"stretchier" plants, blue keeps them shorter more compact.
Sweet though I'll have to scroll back up through
Actually, makes sense if they are down, they would catch more photons that are falling down, compared to if they are up and slanted they'd catch less, but a rain gutter will show otherwise (?)i thought they'd droop away and down, which would actually reduce the surface area on the light.
Ah then I'd say the extra intensity is what kept them from stretching because they were happy where they were at.I might have gotten it backwards. Thanks bro, I will check that one out,@SweetLeafGrow
The bugbee thread, one of those he talks about spectrum and essentially, what photomorphogenesis is.
There's gonna be a lot of us that can't open that linkbut heres some more discussion on it.

Praying leaves reaching for light doesn’t make sense
Seems like almost everybody thinks leaves pointing up at a 45 degree angle means they want more light and are “reaching for it”. Wouldn’t the leaves pointing up be getting 1/2 the light leave that are perpendicular to ithe light would get? Could it be a sign of the plant trying to transpire more...www.thcfarmer.com
Yeah I'd need a damn bank loan to buy something like that. Full retail is more than i make in a month lmfao. The Smell of Panic at The Farm - Hello Logic

Yeah definitely have plenty of options, it's just my budget is it small lmao. There are less expensive options if you want to dip into spectrum control. Bought a CLW SS500 and controller for about $600 when they were on sale. Seen significant results already and I'm very much a fat-fingered noob w it. It's a beast little package w an fairly attainable entry price for spectrum fuckery imo.
I hear that dude, everything was relatively inexpensive until I looked at light upgrades lol. Big oof.Yeah definitely have plenty of options, it's just my budget is it small lmao.

So true man. Thats why i bought the phlizon pl4500 cause it was on sale already and i used a coupon code and saved even more, i got it for 184 shipped to my door lol.I hear that dude, everything was relatively inexpensive until I looked at light upgrades lol. Big oof.
Spectrum tuning is definitely something im interesting in playing around with and learning more about. My feeling on spectrum control is that it is the next most important variable once you have a dialed in grow and process. Adding it to a mess is not going to help.
More important than CO2. Less important than environmental control.
Also, it is better if you run this in a growspace where you are monocropping. If you have a sativa next to an indica, they need different spectrums so that can be a problem.
Supplemental lighting can help, especially when outside of the standard PAR range (uv and far red) and those do not have huge PPFD needs to initiate plant hormonal responses. But if you are trying to change plant morphology in the PAR range, you need a lot more PPFD out of those lights. Most have minimal PPFD in the variable color ranges.
And Green is a good thing in Veg. It stimulates photosynthesis deeper in the tissue. But it needs to come out in flower, as it has been shown to limit THC if you run it thru flower.
Of course, this is all just my working position, and this is all subject to change as I continue to test and learn.
Ask me how I know this is trueAdding it to a mess is not going to help.

Dude I torched fans in the center of my canopy pretty good, too much red(I suspect) and didnt check ppfd during/after stretch. What got me is it doesnt look nearly as bright as it measures when running red dominant. I am noob.Ask me how I know this is true![]()

This is the CLW fixture right? Spectrum control?Dude I torched fans in the center of my canopy pretty good, too much red(I suspect) and didnt check ppfd during/after stretch. What got me is it doesnt look nearly as bright as it measures when running red dominant. I am noob.
This would be a sweet thread to get going so when I do have spectrum control, I'll have a frame of reference to help guide me.This is the CLW fixture right? Spectrum control?
We need to start a spectrum control thread to share our results. Seems like they are a thing now.
Yeah the CLW, sorry sometimes forget I'm in other people's threads. This is the CLW fixture right? Spectrum control?
