Dutch treat. I'd grade it about an A- on buzz, could stick around a little longer. Nice taste, and the color is off the chain looks like a bag of skittles in your pipe pics don't do it justice....vivid ass purples in it.

Been dry for the last week. I hate living in a zero legal state. I have a crop coming up for harvest in the next week or so but I've still got to dry and cure for 3 - 4 weeks after that so I'm about a month out unless my hookup can get to the USPS and get a couple zips out to me.😞

I'm not getting high for shits n' giggles today. This is serious. I'm taking notes for a smoke report on The Convergence -- a pack of seeds that gave me 3 different phenos, maybe 4. Anyway, I'm working on pheno 2 today.

This is completely selfless, on my part. I do this for you. It's really an imposition, too, so be grateful.

When I was in high school, decades before any sort of legalization, some spirited discussion about the pros and cons of weed vs. alcohol somehow started during a history class. I kept my mouth shut.

Then, one of the guys who was on the stoner side of the debate saw fit to drag me in for my opinion. So I told them I was high on life, to a big laugh, as I did my best to blend into the background again.

yeah....it blows but I'm hopeful we get a package soon. I get a couple zips sent to me through USPS 2 day in their smallest box. My connect works for USPS so he says they don't check the small 2 days but he had a heart attack a few weeks ago so he said he gets really tired when he stands up or tries to do anything.

I'm not even upset for me. My GF uses medicinally so I feel worse for her.

When I'm watering or removing dead leaves she'll poke her head into the tent and ask when they'll be ready. Kills me because I know she needs it but can't rush mother nature.

I never buy herb but he just said he got a Lb for $400~! Good shit~!

I try and look at it in a positive way. When I take that first hit from the flower I currently have in the tent I'll have involuntarily subjected myself to a tolerance cleanse.

I don't really smoke all that much anyways. When I was working in it I tried not to smoke too much so that I could tell the difference between good and bad smoke and be able to discern the subtle nuances. Kind of like a sommelier.

I smoke at night for my insomnia. I don't like being high during the day. I can go days without sleep. My GF asked me if I was a closet meth head!! 🤣 She'll get up at 5 in the morning and be back in bed dozing by noon!!! I do feel bad for her more than me. I can drink myself to sleep but the weed helps her throughout the day and night with her issues. She's maintaining but I can see she's on edge sometimes trying to suppress it. I'm 5 days from harvest so it makes it just that much harder!!!😄 She keeps telling me she wants to sell the house and move to the rental we have in Cali so that we have easier access.

No rush. We'll all get there.

However, I believe I've finally found The Convergence pheno for me.

This is a creation of Irie Genetics -- a breeder who has kept me coming back, because many of his strains have a lot of what I would call "mind spark." You know, the quality of a weed buzz that pushes you toward a crazy, funny, energized and sometimes paranoid buzz. It's a cross of two of the strains he's worked on for a while -- thus, The Convergence.

Anyway, because it's a poly hybrid, there are a bunch of phenos ranging from OK to YO! I had 6 girls, 5 phenos. One is right up my alley and rings most of my bells. THAT'S the one I'm smoking now.

Her scent is dominated by lemon, with a background bouquet of restaurant-dumpster-on-fire. She's mostly cerebral in all the ways I like, but she also has some body to her.

I've also been working on the pheno that smells like rubber -- like someone opened a can of tennis balls. This one seems to have some psychadelic properties. So far untested is one that smells like dryer sheets -- you know that fake linen smell they put in dryer sheets and air fresheners? It would be great if that one was a keeper. I could dispense with the carbon filter for a grow like that. People will think I'm drying clothes. But somehow I think dryer sheet scented weed will not be a favorite.

So in conclusion, plant TC #3 is the shit!
