IDK if you've seen this or not but one of the new trends in BBQ is corn ribs. I took a shot at 'em tonight and it gave me an excuse to use the same bottle brush I sent ya...

It take a kitchen knife with an extremely keen edge on it to make these happen but here they are after cutting and dressing

Deep fried mars barView attachment 107540
Years ago the wife and I tried one of these. It was surprisingly good. Was only able to find it one other time before the fad disappeared. For a while it was on a few restaurants menus.

We do, or did until a few years ago. Not as many in the city any more. To many liability issues.Do you have fairs and carnivals in Canada like the state and county fairs in the US?
Fairs are where to find any and everything deep fried. Not much I haven't tried up at the Texas State Fair but yeah all types of fried candy bars, fried oreos, Twinkies, bubblegum, ice cream, PB&J sandos, and more.
Fried Oreos and Twinkies are the two I've seen break out of the fair scene and find their ways into restaurants and food trucks.
If I’m asked to go for a lobster dinner that better be dessert.
Wonder if they still have that rickety old roller coaster going.i tried it once.. you're not really missing anything.. a bite of bacon and throw in a hershey kiss!! haha
i'm sure it's sold everywhere now but the first place i ever saw that was on the santa cruz peer...
