I found a large screen in my spare parts. Used a hole punch to make five small screens. Trying to make the bubbler go longer between full cleanings.

20250120: Seedling Day 18 & 12

Little taller. New leaves are looking good. Seeds still aren’t up on day 6.
RH stays at 58-62% and Temp 80f. Just having the door open a bit for a short time drops it quick.



When my son said he thought he might see WPM a week or so back I sprayed them both with peroxide. Soil and all. Other than the fugly leaves they seem okay. Seeds were not in soil yet.

IDK. I expected one seed up by now. I know I saw one open because my son mentioned it independently.

When is a seed considered a plant? When it has a root, cotyledon show, first true leaves? Is it the same for a legal definition?

Lights are out but space is holding 71RH and 22*. At the heat pad it’s 62RH and 26* so doing okay.

Nothings really changed. No new heads up either. We were going to transplant the largest plant tonight but didn’t have enough soil inside to fill the pot. He had to chop out more from the garage. Now it’s thawing out in the soft pot. I’ll move it to a warm location and we’ll get back to it tomorrow. Going to be a 5L pot this time.

In the mean time I used the keif in my catcher to make a bit more hash.

This was from Twin1 and probably Purple Diesel. Smells like furnace oil. Hits nice.

So far we just smoke it with or without weed.

I’ve heard people vape it but it seems wasteful to me. I don’t see how it’s getting all the goodness out. Even a chunk in the pipe takes a while to get through the middle.

I’ve been tempted to try now that we use capsules. Less chance of messing up the oven.

Have you tried it? Are you mixing it with flower or just a chunk on its own?

nah i never vaped good hash like that. i just know you vape a lot and was wondering.

I’ll try and vape some this weekend. Worst case I dump it in a joint.

Son wants me to bong with him tonight. New toy and all. Strawberry Lemonade. Maybe a hash topper.

Cool, that’s what I do for the metal spoon pipe. That chunk above made two good ones.

Thanks for the confirmation. Do you Reburn what’s left in a joint? I expect the taste is amazing but is the high less?

I have not saved a roach in 3 years~!

I need to get a glass tip. We use the original glass short straw that came with the vape but it’s a bit to big. Works, but needs to be bigger than necessary.

I haven’t smoked a joiner since the weather went into negative double digits. The pipe or bong I can stick my head out the door while the smokers stand outside. But that’s not often. Sons out daily

20250125: Seedling Day 23 & 17

We decided to transplant the largest one into a 1 gallon pot. Then bump it up to the 3 or bigger later. Let’s us keep it in the smaller section under the germination section. So less power will be needed to maintain temperatures and humidity. Lighting should be less too.

This will be its final home in a few weeks.


This is the 1 gallon with Dynomyco mycorrhizae and a bit of Stim-Root powder added.





Still don’t know the sex but remaining hopeful.

My son will be doing the next transplant on his own. I had him get everything ready, explained what we were doing and why. Unfortunately he’s on a ever changing shift so got called in when we had planned to transplant.

The second seedling is/was either having wind or maybe CO2 issues. We kept the warmth and humidity trapped in this section by closing the vents.

Not sure why it went like that, we’ll see if moving the fan and the plant helps. I opened the side vent a little as well.

Still nothing from the other seeds so time to move on. I hate this time of year. We’ll give the VG another shot I think.

20250201: Seedling Day 32 & 26

None of the three seeds came up so tossed last week.

The first seedling was getting to large for the section so we topped it. On a whim I turned the top into a clone.

The final seedling still looks fugly but the newest leaves look good so we’ll keep going. We transplanted it Saturday afternoon.

So far all three are looking good. Two seeds from Twin2 have been put in the VG as backup.





I’m hoping to take one or two plants once he has two ready for SCROG. I’d like to try a mainline in the side section. But let’s concentrate on getting four healthy plants first.

Feeding day iirc, wish us luck.

I know, I know. Doesn’t change how I feel though. It slowly gets better by Easter.

City is a different story. Hit a new wall I need to figure how to get around or over. And this is the complaints development.

Mail box has been full for days and no direct contact with anybody, just voice messages/menu.

Looking at jumping up to the top of each branch and skipping the bottle neck if possible.

Anyone got the number for the drones that keep harassing NY? Maybe see if I can hire them to follow and convince the powers that be to do their jobs.

Topped plant is doing well. No worries about it.

The little fugly seedling is still a concern but seems to have survived the transplant. Never had one this bad. Thinking the two weeks of nasty cold got to it at night. Not giving up on it yet.

The top of the topped plant still looks good. I dipped in roots cloning gel but only put it in a shot glass for now. Easier to manage atm. Want to hide the stem a bit better with something…

Must be a lot dryer. The cloth and water bowl are drying out faster.

Lights out until 1pm. Temperature is at 23.88*c and 81%RH, for the clone.

Hey, I've never had much success using the tops for clones. That's one reason I started topping early to get side shoots that I could clone from. Years ago with 1 precious seed I'd top it then take cuts at about 6 weeks old and grow them out with the mom, took me 6 months but I'd get 6-7-8 plants off the 1 seed to harvest and a large ugly mom flowering I didn't know how to look after.

I knew nothing of RH, PH or PPM and after 6 months mom was pretty sad looking and grew pretty crappy airy buds. Kids were okay but still airy & nothing like today's weed I grow. I really didn't have a clue. I had 1 light, a 1000w hps, I vegged, cloned and flowered under it, in a 5ft high room, cramped, hiding in a cave, banging my head on ducting, cold with lights out and no air movement...lol....

Things really took off when a few years later I got maybe 100 seeds off a friend, some hermied or went on me as I knew nothing of light leaks, some were males that contaminated my crops before I knew what the fk was going on. Were talking 35 odd years ago, I wouldn't dare look online for fear the man would track me to my home and raid me in the middle of the night.

I found my best success with clones was just to cut scrape, dip in clonex and stick in the ground in a dome in a solo cup in saturated Promix, spray dome and clones twice a day at 78 ish F.
