We wanted to finish the prime rib in nice hard crust buns. Wife wasn’t able to find any so we did a stir fry. Man that had flavour.

First time I tried it with blue cheese was in Buffalo. Supposed to be the original buffalo wing place…
They were great though. Now I try to get them that way when it’s available.

I know we have some from shopping last weekend. Think that might be a dinner plan right there.

We found a brisket small enough for us to try. Our first time.

Unfortunately I didn’t think to take a pic when plated. Turned out great and was the perfect size for 4 people.

Had a nice sandwich for lunch while waiting.

Out of scene are the unsalted tortilla chips, hibiscus aqua fresca, and the combo of Dubai chocolate and organic gummy bears for dessert

i miss bread!! you guys are killing me...i went on a low carb diet a few weeks back so no bread or rice or potato or anything good like that. lost 27 pounds so far so i guess i need to keep getting jelly of your pics!!!

Actually it was more like three times in 10 days. We go through different waves. Usually based on what was on sale the last week. It had been a while since we’d had them. Now it’ll be a month or more before we have them again.

I was fine until Christmas. Since then I’ve probably gained back most of my shed weight. I didn’t do more than shovel a few times. I would have hibernated if I could.
Hoping the weather holds so I can get back to night walks with Willow. Already told the wife to stop buying chips and other junk food. We’ll see how it goes.

it's no secret i've gone to the dark side with buffalo sauce.. if damn yuppies would stop paying $4 a pound for wings when they sell breasts for $2 a pound i'd go back to paying for bones!!

wing prices over the years have forced me to perfect my buffalo nuggets!! no way does sissy come to mind when eating mine... more like peel paint off a car tough guy chicken!!! hahaha

you guys gotta try Secrets (bar in MD) buffalo scallop recipe..

seared scallops with hot buffalo sauce drizzled over with blue cheese crumble and a few micro curls of celery on top... they don't do the celery, that was my add.. but damn are they good!!!! scallops pair better with the sauce than chicken does!!! give em a try!!!

Took a shot at "lava chicken" using a tandoori marinade and adding a Texas twist by doing a slow cook BBQ with mesquite.
I used bone in leg quarters but remove the skin and do a trim to remove most of the fat and membrane






Slow cook BBQ in 100 degree weather needs refreshment



After a 12 hour marinade and 3 hour cook
