I like that idea. I added some support for the outdoors plants, this year. I still need to do more. I was gone all day yesterday. So, today will be my first real assessment, but I know I took some damage during a storm we had Saturday evening.I used the big 6” square one to hold my outdoor grow together. Part trellis part SCROG. Worked great even in high winds and storms. Plant moved like a single unit.
My first tent grow, so who knows where I'll end up. My initial thoughts were that I would like to try smaller and I like to be able to make use of space closer to the tent walls. The bungee net I used stretched away from the walls a good bit. Maybe those cross braces like @doublej uses in his tents would give me something to secure the net to around the edges.i have a few of those stretchy nets too, they've always worked great for me!!!
I have some heavy monofilament (550lb and 1,000lb) that I use for building shark leaders. I've toyed with the idea of building a frame or two and lacing it with the leader material. That might be good when I try the CG smash technique that you're going for in your grow. I want to try another round with the training clips, before I experiment with a different technique. I'm sorta drawn to the high stress training. Along the lines of what @stonemason and @GrumpAzz have been doing.
I'm excited to see what you do with that thick and shaggy canopy. It looks super healthy. So healthy that it makes me want to reach through the screen and defoliate. They've been living to easy. Time for them to grow up and learn how to adjust to a little stress, lol.
