CannaGranny’s Corner a Thread For General BS and Good Will On BudBuilders

Happy Friday all~!
10 days till I have to go back to work~!
Fall is really rolling in here.
Got 5 inches of rain the last 3 days in total.
Couple broke branches on the heavy buds of the outdoor plants.
Hopefully we go back to dry weather, supposed to be cooling quick.
damn rain ruined our hiking plans tomorrow, sorry about the broken branches!!
do you have to worry about budrot when it rains too much or anything? idk i never grew outside yet

If it stays wet I will be screwed like most, but if it dries out then all should be fine.
Depending on forecast they may get cut or put inside the shop this week coming up.
We got 1/2 an inch rain all summer and over 4 inches in last three days~!
Wiped out our deficit just like that.

Same here. More rain the last week than all summer together. 😞

Hmmmmm, not only do I have a good eye for the target, I’m an old soft ball pitcher as well..might try this! 😆😄😂🤣
Hey, Gday. careful with throwing the ball hard now. I caught ball for years and my shoulders are paying for it now. I played until mid 30's in bear leagues. I thought nothing of what it did to my arms, legs knees, wrists, fingers....add hockey, tennis, golf, lacrosse and what have you and the painful results of being young having fun and being active = pain later.

Yeah, it’s a big deficit in my shoulder joints and my knees from sliding into base. But some of that could be old horseback injuries..or a dirt bike..but…it was all in having “fun” right? I mean, having fun is not for sissies? Oh wait, maybe that was growing old was not for sissies? 🤣😂

I agree that the fun and adventures of our youth have a higher price in our later years but for most of the things we experienced wasn’t it worth it? 🤔👊

We do butter and apple sauce.apple pie filling for pudgy pies over the fire.😀
My grandmother was the pastry chef. Miss her treats that said love you with each bite.

I only eat two pies now, apple and pumpkin. Apple is a rare treat these days as my wife doesn’t like cooked apples. Luckily pumpkin is both our favourite. I sneak an Apple strudel or turnover into the cart once in a while for my son and I.

Used to have a tree with what we think were macintosh apples. Previous owners had a bbq chained to it and burned the lower part of the trunk badly. I tried to heal it but black mold got hold and was all in the base. Had to cut it down. We miss the apples but not the mess they made each year. Beautiful flowers but they don’t last long.

We had a ton of zucchini last year.my buddies sister made apple pile filling with them.it was good, could barely tell the difference.

I got my chores all done early. Happens when you still wake up at 4am.
Last couple days have been summer like here, but that all changes tomorrow they say.
Highs in the 60s and possible lows in the 30s~!
No rain in the forecast through next week so outdoor plants get to keep living another week or so.
Actually calling for 80 again next Monday.

Searching for four thieves last seen on my south porch last night.
All are dressed in black, gray and white wearing rings on their backsides. (Which they probably stole from someone else) Pointed ears, fuzzy and wearing masks at the time of the robbery.
The four audacious criminals stole the following:
Light pink Sally Hanson step one of a French manicure nail polish set. Opened and poured out on my porch, applicator still missing.
Step two Sally Hansons nail tip whitener pen.
A cup of cold blond coffee.
A pack of cigarettes.
A Blackberry Kush vape pen.
Two paper towels.
These four suspects will more than likely present with fresh French tipped manicures, an odor of cheap coffee and nicotine as well as red glossy eyes.
Know these thieves? Contact me or the Shannon Co sheriffs office.
Reward offered for return of vape pen!
See photo of suspect caught on our CCTV below.IMG_3455.jpeg
