Grow 4 life, Mr.G grow and show.

Will do the topping this week, happy plants minus the calcium deposits on a few leaves. I know running tap water through humidifiers is not recommended, but it does the job. Plants transpiring enough now to hold the tent at 60rh.
Spiderfarmer sending a sf4000 to replace the broken se5000. Get to keep the 5000, and will have a look if it’s something I could repair, if only I lived closer to @Moe.Red😅

New light from spiderfarmer supposed to arrive Thursday, much needed to spread these plants out and give them room to breath. View attachment 25983
How are you gonna sex them, just flip them all? Or are you gonna take some cuts to preflower?
This is the stage with plants from seed that I usually get all stoked on the bigger plants that so often turn out to be male.
They're looking great as usual man.

that's why seed plants always grind my gears. especially regs. it's always the biggest, most vigorous ones that decide to grow nuts.

It’s true the biggest and best plants end up male sometimes. In this case the biggest pants in the room are all feminized, 8 fems 11 regs.
I plant to get all the fems I want to flower out into 3gal pots next transplant, was hoping some of the regs would show preflower in 1 gal, but I’ll probably have to flip to flower to find out, hoping to flip first week of November.

Now that's an interesting observation, forgot you had fems in there. Are the fems from a different breeder than the regs? Interesting that they are so much more robust. The bigguns are standouts in there.

3 of the fems are DFG. Garlic MacDragon,
5 x Do-Si-Do/Cookies fems. 00 seeds is the breeder.

Plants were way too cramped in the 4x4 and couldn’t wait for the new light to arrive on Thursday, I took my sf2000 out of storage, and spread the plants out, did a skirting and plucked what needed to go.
Took one of the larger plants and took a look at the roots, 1 week in the 1gal and already thick and circling the container. Plan to get the winners into 3gal fabric on Saturday. IMG_3793.jpeg

Yessir. They’re only getting 500ml once a day atm, but the big ones could use more, For sure ready for transplant.
what does your fertigation schedule look like during peak flower? do you mix large batches of nutrient solution to have on hand or have to mix multiple batches every watering when you're running through 12k+ ml every watering?

I have a 200litre fresh water res, and I fill and mix into 40litre res to water from, I use a pump and poly line with a shutoff to get water to the plants. Pretty fast.
Shop vac the runoff.

oooooh good lol i was having flashbacks to college, having to mix 10 one gallon jugs multiple times a day to keep all my ladies alive. My mind just pictured good ol OG toiling away, cursing the day he chose to grow his own lol

Hahahaha, I have considered automating the watering, but I like to get in there and make a game time decision. Takes less than 30min to do the watering and cleanup.

That's how the solo cups went, scooping the run off out.
been there dude...

in college, I cut two holes in the floor of the single wide trailer I was growing in. One had a tube running from the drain holes i cut in the kiddie pools i used as catch bins to under the trailer, the other had a massive blower fan pumping the heat out.

i couldn't do the scooping out anymore... not when i was dealing with gallons of runoff multiple times a day lol needless to say, i did NOT get my rental deposit back.

Yea neither did we for other reasons too lol.

And fuck that shit again indeed would go through 10+gallons hand mixing all, the bottom tent "cover/tray" collected it, was fine at first learning it all but now I'm ready to set up a platform to catch run off, maybe something similar to how you and dirtbag did it

dude, the platform is hella cheap to build. you could probably source all the parts for free, tbh. someone tears down an old shed, there's your sheeting. can probably salvage enough lumber to make the base, too. then, just need some sections of gutter and a container of some type.

I've set up a pump in my catch bin that kicks on when the irrigation pump does so i don't even have to move the catch bin anymore. have some 1/2" irrigation tubing running to a bucket outside the tent that i just empty when it's near full. soooo much easier but still too much work lol. need to plumb that shit outside so that it's a non-issue entirely. or, a floor drain would be nice.

good thought, my dad probably has some shit in his garage just laying around too, could probably just show him a picture and get something setup.

if i could build a room out, floor drains for sure that collect to a huge res to be re-amended/filtered
