Our first ever grow.♧

Did you rip the bottom off the peat pot?
I would water as much outside the peat pot as possible to draw the roots through.
Making it wet outside the peat may help to soften it up.
IMO you can start feeding.
I would not wait till you see distress even on just the cotyledons.

I'll start notes on the next watering, then. I crosscut the bottoms of the Peet pots, and cut slots in the sides to make it easier for the roots to spread. I watered from the edges of the Peet pots toward the outside of the growbag, and we'll keep that up for the rest of the grow. Thanks again for the kindness, and sharing of your expertise.

Nutes not notes. Autocorrect.

Everything seems to be going well. Starting to add nutrients next watering.

They've had a little rain in the past week, so watering and feeding had to be put off. We started them on Foxfarms nutes yesterday.
1.5 teaspoons each of Bigbloom,Growbig, and Calmag per gallon of water. Watered then 1/2 gallon per plant.
That was the amount it took until it started coming out of tge bottom if the pots.
There are some yellow spots on a few leaves, and something got to chewing on a couple.
I sprayed the pots pretty good with a mixture I use for personal bug repellant, and spread fresh rosemary leves on top of the soil.
It's made with essential oils, witch hazel, and water. I also lightly misted the plants and soil.
Hopefully the nutes will resolve the spotting. If bugs persist, we may fix up a Neem emulsion and mix with water to spray.

One of the things that@dragonsflamegenetics does is change up the contents of his antibug attacks. The bugs become immune. One of the tricks I learned from @moered is putting mosquito bits in the water to kill fungus gnats. Boy that really works, and also use procrop1 in the water. The last couple of waterings will be just rainwater. 1 reason for the notetaking is a solid base of knowledge for the next grow. I've heard it said weed makes you forg...

We're keeping a journal with notes on watering, and nutrient amounts. By mosquito bits, what do you mean?

No further signs of nutrient deficiency, and no new insect damage. They're loving the Foxfarm nutes!

They're really taking off. Nutes twice a week.

Cleaned them up a little and started Lst on 3 of the mimosa.
The one being supported by a paint stirrer trid to snap, so she might be au natural. Letting our blue dream photoperiods grow a little, then we'll top and train them.
Dad is intrigued with idea of cloning,so it'll be a good time to experiment,I figure.
I'll post before pictures soon. Kind of forgot to upload them.
Also, the terpenes in Mimosa are insane! The big leaves I trimmed have a citrusy/peachy taste that will be put to use in the kitchen. Might make a pesto, and will definitely chiffonade some in sweet potato Curry.
What do y'all think,so far?
