Taught my kid how to drive manual on a blown out toyota pickup with a blown head gasket. He decided one day that he'd had enough of the toyota so he took my race mustang out for a drive to see what it was like. He said it handled really nice. I told him "Kid, what do you know about handling?!?". Little fucker thought he could butter me up before the hammer came down. I pulled his PS4 for 3 months. He told me it was worth it for as much fun as it was to drive the mustang. He had the balls to ask me if he could drive the mustang after he got off restriction. I told him "Are you fucking kidding me?!?" but secretly was kind of happy he wasn't afraid to drive a car like that.

After he got off restriction I took him to Willow Springs race track and let him drive the mustang around the track a few rounds.

First car was dads 79 mustang. (Really the Mercury Capri but no one new what that was.)

Race gears and shifter. 5.0L 302.

No lessons. No help. Just paid him and drove it home. Needed sand bags & winter tires! Fun car. Good times.

This is what good weed looked like when I was 8

It's very interesting there are so many strains from Oaxaca. My wife is Oaxacan and indigenous, she knows their language, Mexican, and English very well.

She never told me about any weed history there lol. Her grandma that still lives there continues to only cook over a wood fire every day.

The problem is I can’t hurt them or relocate. Some hunter. 😂😔

Now squirrels…different story. 🤬
I am highly amused by red squirrels, but they are insane, ninja-like rodents who will eventually wreak havoc and destruction if you tolerate them and they get the idea you're a pushover.

Yes, it's a battle of wits. Whenever i see one, I give it the "I'm watching you" sign, pointing to my eyes and then back at them. I'm pretty sure it puts shivers down their little spines.

Hopefully Waldo is a Wendy and looks like that healthy bush center of picture from across the pond.
I could stare at that forever~!
NICE!!!

That's a gray squirrel. I'm talking about this menace:

I can tell the guy who wrote the article is familiar with these beasts, using terms like "aggressive" and "murderous."

damn.. those little bastards are metal as fuck lol

If you guys line squirrels I really liked watching this

So funny how you can see their different personalities on the obstacle course

Edit: there's also a cool part in the video involving a slow motion breakdown of how a squirrel sticks its landing from crazy ass angles.

I have 3-4 red squirrels also, but they don't play well with me, the grays or anyone.
Seen one chase a turkey 20-30 times his size away from the feeder a few times.:ninja:

I think you meant mental~!

I enjoy watching them.
They say misery loves company, but they never mention how company feels about it?
🤷‍♂️

Willow just met a new red today. Cheeky bugger. He miss judged how quick she was but got saved by the split rail fence. 🤣

Can’t sleep so i sometimes vape on the stoop before bed. Or in this case when stressing waiting for meter reader.

So at 3am Willow and I see mom rabbit chilling in the grass about 6’ away when willow breaks and gives a little chase, with me yelling at her to get back up here. After a few minutes she comes back, in her time. And I notice that a baby the size of a tennis ball is beside the light…trying to be invisible.

I put Willow in the house and sit with the little one a bit. It tries the sideways I’m dead thing a minute but the rains started and he gives it up and just watches me watch it. Then after a few minutes it starts to wander again…heading under the hedge out of the rain.

They let me up to touch, but I don’t. Mom even lets me about 3’ away before she keeps one eye on me.

They seem to leave the crates alone. Stick to the clover and other leaves like the hollyhocks. (Ate all but two I planted to hide Twin2)

Unless they get to be a big problem I’ll let them hang again this year. Never know, the way food prices are going could be part of the garden bounty this fall. 🤣 Wife won’t eat wild game and I don’t like dark meat…so little fuzzy is okay until we can’t afford dog food. 😝

One time I had a cat bring in a little bunny in the house I thought was dead. Scared the shit out of me when I went over to it and it jumped up.... Lol

The little guy just moved under the cedar hedge more throughout the day. Waiting for mom to return. Willow put the fear in her. Just as well shouldn’t trust the dog.

Little one was gone after dusk. So much rain no idea where it went.

We play those for our cats in the winter, one cat Qnight comes up and flops in front of the TV looking at the screen expecting us to put on video's for him,,,and we do. 3 cats 1 wants TV squirrels 1 other will watch if he see's it on and the other could care less.

Weird photo day,

I bought a columbian red tail boa when I finished Jr. high in 1972, by 1974 it was this big and growing rapidly, I ended up trading it for a big iguana that I ended up giving to the Alligator Farm in Buena Park.

in 1999, I played with the temple vipers in Malaysia. They are lethally toxic, but extremely docile. I was 100 lbs fleshier than I am today!

My dog, Mintaka, had astigmatisms and was far sighted!

In 2013 or so I broke my hand in a cycling accident, had to ride out of the mountains to the ER to get the hand set in a cast.
The next week, I rode in a metric century (60 miles). I'll need to dig up that picture and add it!
My daughter loves Floyd, saw the opportunity to practice her artwork!

I like your style. One of the girls I dated in high school had a brother that kept rattlesnakes and got my into herpetology. Had a 7.5ft eastern diamondback that was strangely the sweetest snake I've ever met, albeit terrifying with a head the size of my fist. Since then I've always wanted to see a bothropsis pit viper in person. Beautiful arborial death creators...

I visited a 2-bedroom fixer-upper today with a great view. The condition of the little gazebo gives you an idea of the condition of the house, but holy shit. The neighbor bought it, probably to flip it after making it livable.
What was the asking price? Just out of curiosity, in no position to be buying any other property right now lol

Some buy the next lot just for the extra space or water front. Also if you have a large family.
