Nice Shots, I could learn a lot from a guy like you. trouble is Eye need Eyes on and My Eyes don't work so good any more and my focus is iffy at the best of times

Move it into his room...sorry tough love.....I grew up in the 50's ...it would have been some whacks in the ass, at any age....I've mellowed & learned no more assaults but I haven't learned anything about not getting even....lol....no....I'm not a good roll model don't take any child rearing advice from me..........

Just now

I may have seen larger hail, but I have never seen it come down so fast and heavy. Was filling in low spots around my house like the ball pits of diseases we would jump in as kids at McDonalds.

My outdoor plants are standing but they look they were bombarded with rockets and aren't too happy. Thankfully they are big.

I was in Northern Kenya during a long drought, a few years ago. In the middle of the desolation, I saw this:

Getting a little closer, it turns out to be a woody relative of the morning glory. This plant has attitude.

It was time to flower. Drought? Yeah, but it's time to flower.

Or maybe what the cluck?
Never seen it before, not sure I would eat it. I certainly would not pay more unless that ink has flavor???

^^ They probably eat a ton of bugs?^^ Just trying to see the good.

I have had morning doves in my pool house for several years.
Got 2 baby red squirrels in there this year, but the doves are gaining in numbers..

way to tug at my wallet man. i've been wanting an offset smoker for a loooooong time now. keep telling myself stay patient because we need a couch before i can afford a decent mid-range unit. this build looks damn good, wish they sold this caliber of gear at the big box stores.

Was in Fruita, Colorado a couple years back riding my bike (fricken love that place) and saw these epic cactus flowers. Spring on the western slope of CO is hard to beat :D. fruita_co_mtb.png
This was in Salida, Colorado. I prefer a van conversion vs a camper as they are pretty nimble and I get free camping in many many spots :D. salida_mtb_2021.png

you ever harvest and eat the fruits off prickly pears? stuff is pretty good if you can manage to get all the spines cleaned off.

Best method I’ve heard of is to burn them off with a propane torch. Just singe the hairs and the needles turn to ash then can be handles without getting those glochids in your hands.

I was dumb enough to pick one off without gloves. At first it felt like a weird velvet. Then I realized I had a layer of needles stuck in my skin.😦

During a former lifetime, I worked for the South Carolina Dept. of Natural Resources. This was (and it may still exist, I suppose) a local convenience store in Marion County. I parked there, hoping for the best. As it turns out, it was false advertising.
