not yet man. i know it's the limited trim level, asked a buddy that works for Subaru of America if he can find out how many were produced in 2010, which might give me a better idea of availability for either a new seat cover or new seat entirely.Did you have a look on your body tag bud..just thought maybe it’s like ours here showing you the trim used in your beast..
Do the seat mechanisms not work? Why do you want to replace the seat frames? Even if you couldn't find the seat covers you could probably upholster it for less than buying OEM seats.not yet man. i know it's the limited trim level, asked a buddy that works for Subaru of America if he can find out how many were produced in 2010, which might give me a better idea of availability for either a new seat cover or new seat entirely.
Nah, the seat works fine. I just know from prior experiences that leather that's showing wear is only going to get worse with time. I'm one of those people that doesn't like things to look fucked up, primarily because then other people don't treat things as well as they should if they think something is already messed up.Do the seat mechanisms not work? @Stoneyluv - When you run your foam cannon do you load just soap in the dispenser or do you do a 50/50 mix of water and soap? Does the foam cannon itself matter as far as getting that nice snowy foam layer on the car? I bought a Ryobi pressure washer and it came with a foam cannon so I tried it on the the GF's car but I put only soap in the dispenser. Came out ok and got the job done but was lacking in the visual satisfaction department.
Do you garage your car? You must. The paint looks impeccable. Did you buy the car new or did you buy it used? If used, I'm wondering if the previous owner just didn't do the regular leather maintenance leather seat owners need to do to maintain the leather. If new and you're garaging the car your leather shouldn't look like that. I noticed you have some pretty dark tint on your windows so even if you were leaving it out in the sun it shouldn't look like that unless you left it parked in Phoenix out in the open all summer long and baked the interior.Nah, the seat works fine. I second your question -- looking at buying a foam cannon and could use details on proper loading and use. I have the hose end cannon from the chemical guys, and it's less than spectacular when I use it, so wanting to get something that actually gives that nice thick coat of foam.
Yeah, I've garaged it for the past three years, have owned it for five. Bought used. Originally it came from Florida, so I'm sure it got baked out there. It's also likely the original owner didn't take care of the leather properly. I don't think a lot of people realize that leather in cars like mine is real leather and not some faux vinyl crap.Do you garage your car? You must. The paint looks impeccable. Well whatever you did to the paint made it look pretty flawless.Yeah, I've garaged it for the past three years, have owned it for five. Bought used. I tend to clean and condition the seats every two or three months, especially having kids that are generally disgusting, filth-covered heathens. I treat it similar to my motorcycle leathers just a little more frequently because it's not as heavy a grade of leather.
And, don't let the pictures fool you. The paint is in pretty rough shape, not terrible, but not great either. I just manage to get it cleaned up pretty damn good when I actually put in the time on a proper wash.
haha thanks man. it's not what i did to the paint, it's the way i took the pics. i'll grab one of the hood for ya. between pitch, bug splatter, rock chips, and water spots, the hood is by far the worst part of the car.Well whatever you did to the paint made it look pretty flawless.
They always are. I was shopping for a truck at one point and when I went to see one a private party was selling I noticed a deer hoof behind the grill......how did you not see the deer hoof when you're replacing the grill!!!haha thanks man. it's not what i did to the paint, it's the way i took the pics. i'll grab one of the hood for ya. between pitch, bug splatter, rock chips, and water spots, the hood is by far the worst part of the car.

Would you mind breaking out a bunch of that cool stuff for my real American leather recliner. Yes, it does have some wear after 33 years & 2 continents.i use soap and water, the hotter the water the better the foam. i go with more of a 70% soap and about 20% water, it starts foaming right away so the rest of the 10% ends up foam.. i've tried water first and soap first doesn't seem to matter always gets bubbles. here's my top three...

the CG watermelon foams the best, they have a few choices all work good. the clean slate is for what it says, starting completely over. and the meguiars is a great gentle wash that doesn't remove any sealants or polish.
so try some hot water in it with the soap and see if that helps, does your cannon have adjustable fins?..

if so you can turn it to all soap and less water to help. but i get it , people love the look a pro foam they think it makes it cleaner when it's thick and snow covered. actually it's the popping of the soap bubbles that lifts the dirt from the surface. sometimes if the vehicle is really big i'll fill my cannon two or three times. i don't pre rinse either i hit it with the foam right from the start, let it pop, rinse it heavy, re-foam, scrub, rinse, de-iron, rinse again, and then any paint correction along with compound and wax if needed.
and just wanted to post this stuff too, this is amazing cleaner for anything plastic, wheels, tires, trim, mud flaps, floor mats, it works incredible on those newer carpet looking inner wheel wells that are normally hard to clean. i run it 10:1 for norm and 5:1 for deep clean with steam.

daaamn that's a long time to have somewhere to sit! gotta tell us more about how you have managed to keep it alive so long.Would you mind breaking out a bunch of that cool stuff for my real American leather recliner. Yes, it does have some wear after 33 years & 2 continents.
I'm sold on the chemical guy stuff myself. All I buy now. Tried their butter wet wax and just fell in love with all their products after thati own a detail business. 303 makes some awesome products. also the chemical guys are very good too, i use their leather cleaner and polish exclusively!! the 303 does an amazing job on tonneau covers!!!
for waxes, it's a tie.. i have not found anything available that beats these two.. even better than ceramic coatings!!

It just takes you where you want to go, no secret, but no cats/big dogs/Sasqushes sitting down. Thought about buying a new one, but figure I would just throw a blankey over it anyway. What happens when you put ALL the used weed water on your basil plants & there we grow.daaamn that's a long time to have somewhere to sit! gotta tell us more about how you have managed to keep it alive so long.
Thats just too cool, some stuff just doesn't get old.followed by a proper Nova Scotia kitchen party of a wake afterwards
Man I would want to have that printed!!!!March of 2020, a few days before full lockdown was announced flying home to BC after my fathers funeral on a Boeing 777 with only around half a dozen people on-board. Wife and I had nearly the entire back of the plane to ourselves.. strange seeing 9 seats across completely empty. Was kinda neat though just wandering around the empty plane, choosing what side had the best views. Also lucky that my father had a proper funeral followed by a proper Nova Scotia kitchen party of a wake afterwards. A week later, everyone was on lockdown.
Rocky mountains were the clearest ive ever seen them from a plane.

I'm from the midwest and that's something I've always missed whenever I went elsewhere. Watching the storms roll in is just beautiful and mesmerizing.
makes me miss the sunsets in New Mexico. Nothing quite watching the sky light on fire as the sun goes down/comes up. Mountains turn different shades of pink and purple, clouds every color across the spectrum... we hardly ever get anything like that here in WA.These were taken a few years ago at a buddies stag party on Valdez Island just off the coast of Vancouver island BC. Believe it or not, these were taken with no filters. The sky and even the beach was actually this color in the evening right after a rainstorm passed over. Was absolutely intense in person.

Based upon both looks and growth environment, I believe this is Pluteus cervinus, commonly called a deer mushroom (I believe because of the fawn color).
