dang it. you just reminded me the kids papa and mama and myself have a date we've not scheduled to hit the casino. plan is to walk in with a couple small bankrolls and walk out either with more than we came in with or nothing at all.

Came home last week after work, and these guys were hanging out in the hood.


It will be a while before I get used to seeing sand hill cranes. I've always lived where there were herons and egrets, but these guys are big. Just waiting for a whooper now.

Sandhills can kill a dog with their beak. People hunt them and if you put a cripple on the ground it’s best to go retrieve it yourself. Your dog may not come back.

Hard to beat an English bulldog. I have had four in the course of my life. They just don’t live long enough. They are little people in dog suits. I really miss the ones I had.
