i asked her what she wanted.. she hee hawwed around for a few minutes and i said you want me to make an offer? she said yes please... and on top of that she was complaining because of all the stuff she couldn't get her car back in her garage, i was just trying to help her!! haha
seriously though, i know her.. i knew her late husband that bought all the tools new... i help her out with her house from time to time and give her eggs often. it was more of a i'll help ya get rid of the heavier stuff so ya don't have to deal with it. i really only wanted the new chisels.. the rest i'll probably give away.

i do lots of stuff for blue collar people and they do lots of stuff for me, nobody ever takes money from each other for time so i like to give people tools, almost anybody will take good tools!!! my auto mechanic has refused to take money from me forever.. he gets upset if i even try, but he always accepts tools in trade... thank goodness he likes weed too!!!!! hahahahaha

Over the last decade I’ve noticed more and more people just leave their garbage lying around. Especially near ALL bus shelters and trash cans. Often left on top of the cans or on the ground or on the shelter seats. Unfortunately the bus drivers waiting also do it.

3d printed titanium pipe.
Doesn't seem like much but consider it's aerospace grade 5 titanium and to make it requires a chamber filled with inert gas and using powdered metal and lasers to 3d print an object. And the printing chamber is owned by NASA 🫨

It's insanely lightweight and about as big as my middle finger. The weight feels almost negative and kinda spooky. I'd think it would be like a fork or spoon weight but it's more like a soft feather

I popped it's cherry with a chunk of hash

COB Real Texas BBQ? Seems a new restaurant is moving into the area. Can’t find any info on it.

How will we know if it’s truly “real Texas BBQ”?

I'm preparing the space to record a timelapse video of cannabis germination with a transparent vertical germinator.
I caught that in an earlier thread. Think it’s a cool project. Let’s people see not only the VG in action but how the seeds/plants react.

You can even put one or two in upside down just to see how they find their way.

Looking forward to the show. 👊🍿

Those types of experiments are done and recorded. Point side down like it's an arrow head pointing at the Earth's core is the way if you're looking for consistency and best use of energy coming out of the shell.
Anything else is just a delay in the process.

I'm mostly interested in daily growth rate of a tap root, what day fish bones pop, and see it shed it's shell in real time.

Fools gold frost.
Been seeing a ton of this in new genetics posted online...headless trichomes.
If there's no globe full of oil there's no cannabinoids or terpenes in the trichome.
It gives the impression of being frosty to the naked eye but under scope the truth is revealed.
This is how a strain that looks like it should be high in potency to the eye is actually very low lacking potency and flavor

I saw a car last week that had something similar but excessive to make it look like it was animated with a 3d effect. Looked wild and threw me off like I was looking at a cartoon but it was real. Felt like that movie Cool World for second
That's where I was headed but I would've used paint instead of pinstripe tape. I think that's a sweet look, like you said "looked like a cartoon."

I couldn't fully commit so I went with the tape. Easier to remove if I didn't like it. Then I ran out before I could finish the front end.

Didn't he request to see a Dr. while racing last weekend or the weekend before?
That is not something you here often during a race.
I was rooting for him this year since he was driving Chevy...

Kyle Busch Requested a Doctor During Watkins Glen Race

During the NASCAR Cup Series race at Watkins Glen on May 10, 2026, Kyle Busch made a radio request to his team for medical assistance after the event. While running inside the top five, Busch told his crew to locate Dr. William Heisel, a physician assistant and motorsports medicine expert, and have him meet him at the team bus rather than the car Yardbarker+1.

Busch explained he “need a shot” after the race, though he did not specify the exact nature of the treatment The Spun. The request came despite the fact that he was still in the race and had not yet exited the track. He had been battling a sinus cold all week, which was worsened by the G-forces and elevation changes at the road course Hindustan Times+1.

The call was made during Stage 3, and Busch’s team confirmed he would be met at the bus. No further details were given during the race broadcast, and the exact reason for the post-race medical need was not disclosed Sportskeeda. However, the incident drew attention from fans and media, with many speculating it was related to his ongoing illness.

Busch’s absence from the race was not due to an on-track incident, but rather a planned post-race medical meeting. He later missed the Charlotte Motor Speedway race, marking his first missed Cup Series race in over a decade Hindustan Times. Austin Hill stepped in to drive the No. 8 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing during that event.

This episode highlighted Busch’s ongoing health challenges and the importance of in-race medical readiness, even for drivers who appear to be in good condition during competition

When an infection goes septic pneumonia aint no joke and death can come very quick. I went from walking my dogs to an hour later almost dying in the back of an ambulance and on oxygen the next 5 days. Many go from walking to dead in just 36 hours.
I hear he went unconscious in the simulator at RCR yesterday. When it hits, minutes matter. I thought I could tough it out and walk it off but it's a monster and got to a point I couldn't take another step and wife called 911.

I heard him on the radio ask for the shot. Shots during a game are nothing new to me so I just figured he needed a blast of cortisone to get thru some pain.
There was a weird vibe when he took the bow Friday night after the win. I felt like maybe it was his last win a national series and his comments after were prophetic.

The shock is dulled now. I've enjoyed reading posts from people like Brad K, Dale Jr, both who have had their moments with KFB because I feel like for many, we have a respect/hate/respect/love/hate/respect thing for the guy. It's complicated lol.

He made me laugh though and that goes a long way in life for me.
We make fun of him, as if he's a woman and used tampons and the guys at Watkins Glenn with the huge banner, "Kyle Busch pees sitting down". He'll leave his wrecked car on the track and go pout in his hauler, fight with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. dad, tell you that you suck just as bad as he does, drive his wrecked car around the track in reverse with a fire truck and AMR safety team chasing him. That's why I enjoyed KFB. Love or hate, he made racing a little more fun than it already is.

There is no doubt he was a major reason why we became fans. We needed a villain and he more than fit the script.
I felt he was a head hunter towards the young guys but if a driver proves himself, Kyle would race as clean and hard as anybody. Few times the 19 had to hold him off and he coulda punted my guy into the wall but never did. Respect for that.

Today I'm gonna rock my #8 hat, hug my wife a few times and take my dogs on an extra long walk. Take the day off, smoke a turkey breast, and enjoy some truck racing tonight and do a little celebration in honor of the man.

One for the road Rowdy hahaha!!!

the guy embraced the villain role and owned it. its a sad deal for sure. his son looks up to him so much and is his entire world. i can't image how this is going to affect so many families in the community. someone with that much business has got to be terrible for his wife. she can't just morn her husband. there's way too much legal bullshit to deal with. it's not fair to Samantha at all. i look forward to this weekend of racing even though i know it will be a heavy heart of a watch. this is the weekend where we all honor our fallen heroes, Kyle Busch was a hero to many.

over the years he has made me laugh, cry, and curse. i will miss him.
