Once again I'm slacking on my updates. Definitely some big changes in the tent. We're done stretching & really starting to stack up. Purple Crunch's & one of the Grape Jelly's are really showing some beautiful purples. Hopefully I'm only a couple weeks from harvest as I have a weeklong vacation coming up & would be nice to be able to get these chopped & trimmed before I go. I could in theory leave them drying while I'm gone, but not sure how they would turn out as I won't be there to top off the humidifier & they may sit in some pretty low RH for the week I'll be gone.

Also started the next round of seeds. Popped the Redbeards Northern Lights & all of them looked good with nice tails after a 24 hour soak & about 48 hours in the paper towel. However I attempted 3 Greenpoint Onyx Cookies & after 36 hours none of them appear to have popped. So I dropped some GP Animal Cookies S1 yesterday, hopefully we get better results. The Greenpoint seeds are a little old, but I don't think any of them are much over a year, so hopefully it was just an issue with the one strain.

Another quick update, actually probably 2 updates in 1, I took some pictures last week & just never posted them.

It seems the older GPS seeds I have are very hit & miss. I ended up having to go through 8 seeds to get 2 to actually pop, and one of them is growing a bit funky (unfortunately I didn't take pictures of the babies I'll get some tonight & update). I really was going to try to get 6 in the tent, but we're just going to have to make due with 5 (hopefully)

I'm basically getting ready to chop the main tent within the next few days. I could possibly let them go longer, but I have to go to San Francisco for one of my best friends from high schools wedding & trying to manage keeping the big plants watered along with the babies just feels like too much. So I'm going to hang them right before we leave & let them dry while we're gone & then move the babies into the big tent & set them up on the drip irrigation system with a timer to water 2 times over the 9 days I'll be gone.

Anyway here's some bud porn:

Here's the babies & aclosep of the weird seedling. If you look closely there are actually little bits of a 1st set of leaves, but not anywhere near normal, just enough to say they exist.

Granted they have a headstart, but it's soo obvious with a quick look which plants are GPS & which are Redbeards. The older of the 2 GPS plants is about the same height as the others but just looks more thin. Where the RB plants look like nice little bushes.

Same age? Wow!
Not exactly the same age, they're all within a week of each other. The bushy ones were popped about 3 days before the next biggest one & the little one about 3 days after that. Mainly because I couldn't get the seeds to pop, it took 3 different sets of GP seeds (8 in total) to get 2 viable plants. I'm definitely excited to see what the RB seeds do as I've never really grown anything other then GP & some testers. So excited to see what some better more established genetics can do.
