Nice, thanks for organizing these, I haven't gone through them all yet and some are out of my league but I will. I've watch a few of his on YT and with Mr grow it and he's the reason I don't run UV.
The uv is one of the places I disagree with him. I'm convinced it adds a little something.....plenty of conflicting views on it.

Yes as in everything his test might not be conducted as you use your lights. I can't find info on 15 min at lights out, did he or anyone ever test what I'm doing? I think not I don't know where I read or picked it up but I see results. You as well your use maybe different than his testing giving you different results.

I've been running the far reds the last 3 nights at lights out, I unplugged them this am. I got the extra height I wanted now I want them to stop. I hope I haven't set off a growth spurt more than I wanted.

I take his UV talk with a grain of salt and far from absolute fact or gospel.
UV is very tricky. Not all sources are equal. He didn't show what he used and how he used it leaving me with questions. It's one thing to introduce 395 to 420 nm to a grow, it's a whole other issue between sourcing and power of it.
For example, floro and LED might both 400nm but they're two totally different animals in regards to height over target, coverage, and power used to deploy it.
I could use a 40 watt reptile light and conclude it doesn't do anything. I could also use a 70 watt LED array and conclude it works every time all the time. The more people use it the more we'll find what's the best source and how to best apply it to get benefit from it.
Already, aside from xtra resin claims, I've found one of it's benefits is making a garden less desirable to pests. I'm about 60/40 on it increasing potency but around 95% on it's effectiveness to deter pests.

A grain of salt yes but when an expert of his caliber speaks its best to listen. The UV learning curve also scares me a bit so with his influence and my hesitation to use them I let the expert make the decision for me so I could back away gracefully.

i agree

i really dont think the studies have been done that encompass all the possible variables, genetics being the main one.

regardless with cannabinoid benefits hard data, we still have 'hard data" that UV is effective against microbes for example.

sterility sake
