Hey Spectrum.

Turns out his setup is exactly what mine is. Because he is my son using my growspace lol.

If u got one

But

I'd like something like this, I think.

The problem with those scopes is the stand. The cheap ones they come with are in my mind useless. there's too much vibration when adjusting the focus to work well. They have better stands that cost as much as the camera's. I got one from a review I made that was part of the requirements to get the thing but it works much better, its solid and doesn't move when focusing.

Hey Bandit, we've been watching Yellowstone again and they talk about the Texas chilly having no beans in it.... Okay I'll bite do you have a recipe you follow? I pulled this off google is there anything you add or is this it? Fraction'd down to portions more appropriate for 2 old farts
  1. 7-8 pounds beef chuck, cut into bite-sized pieces
  2. 1/2 cup ghee, clarified butter OR canola or vegetable oil
  3. 8 medium onions, chopped
  4. 10 garlic cloves, minced
  5. 4 6 oz cans tomato paste
  6. 8 Tablespoons dried oregano
  7. 4 Tablespoons chili powder
  8. 2 Tablespoons ancho chili powder
  9. 4 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  10. 2 Tablespoons paprika
  11. 2 Tablespoons hot sauce
  12. 2 teaspoons cumin
  13. kosher salt & freshly ground black pepper

I'd say your Googler is broken if that's the recipe that came up when asking it for a Texas Chili recipe.
Are you sure they didn't call it Pinche Gringo chili? Because that is Pinche Gringo chili if I ever saw it.

Tis the season. I'm down to try some different chili recipes. Even those Texas meat sauce recipes with no beans.

Our chilly has 2 kinds of kidney beans small slices of finger sized pepperoni ( pepperoni sticks) , thick back bacon, roast beef cut into small chunks, hamburger, peppers, whole mushrooms, onions, maybe celery, Tomato's and chilly powder to taste. I have to add my own heat to taste per bowl. I like it hot, served with shaved cheddar cheese, sour cream and maybe garlic bread.

That sounds good. I’ve never heard of using the pepperoni sticks.

I have to add heat to my bowl, too. The rest of the house doesn’t like spicy flavors as much as I do.

I have one. As noted most stands are cheap and flimsy. I hold it and take 5-7 pics to get one or two good ones. 🤣

I go to the tent and hold it while using the phone to take the pics. Son does a better/faster job.

If a leaf or an insect I’ve had no problems just holding it. The zoom levels are good. The signal and connection have been fine. Battery life is good, lasts months sitting and I’ve never had it die on me. Was a BD gift that I’ve only had for a year or two. (Can also act as a regular video camera.)

Some hate them but it’s a lot better than the loupe or magnifying glass for me. That model is close to mine but they are all about the same when I looked for one. My zoom is a ring that goes all around the pen, not just in a recessed section.

Very similar to mine. I haven’t added pepperoni sticks before but I do to a lot of other things. I’ll have to try that. I keep the amount of ground beef and ground pork equal. Corn sometimes but it just looks wrong. The celery is needed for the cool bites, we do it hot too. Shredded cheese and sour cream are great but not mandatory. I like a few Premium Plus crackers on the side, unsalted. 🤤

When cooked into the sauce they swell and moisten like little pepperoni meat balls, Too many oils up the Chilli but just a few mixed in is a nice taste treat when you hit one. A French Canadian friend of mine started me adding them after 1 of his chilli parties

I'm definitely going to try this. Everything your saying about this sounds right up my alley.

That right there is a package of flavor!! IYKYK!!!!

You may need a flogging for that one Zen 🥊

I kept doing something similar and mine kept slipping probably cuz I didn't have a skewer or something like that

Dub my version the zero tool diaper method

i feel the holding the paper towel tight and not letting it slip when going from hump to hump is the key regardless on the tool or if even just fingers.

Something I found out after using these a handful of times idk everyone's method just figured I'd share

Thanks. I’ll try that on my original one I had troubles with. 👍
