Yea my RH is high and this a.m it was 65f outside at 84%RH so the exhaust fan that is running just ain't cutting it.
It only passively draws in air form outdoors which seems consistently worse.
Hate to have add heat to the room but I am not fucking around with excess humidity and the effects.
I have not had to water more than once every 5-7 days yet since the plants went to the room.
Humidity has been out of control here all year.
My heart goes out to my brother outdoor NY growers.

Not just outdoor or NY. All over North America brother. Weather needs a major reset.

So after a week of stalled out and sickly looking growth I had enough. Kinda wondering WTF to do so I figured do something you have tried yet to get these ladies back on track...Or on track for that matter since they never have been on track.
So I ran a Great White dunk on the airpots and tossed a crazy spectrum at them.
It worked.

And it worked.

The way I figure,,,if it wants to act like a 1000 watt HPS I need to tame that shit and quit dilly dallying around about it so yep..14 & 69 has this fucker running like a CMH now



Had to punt the ACI UIS plug and go back to legit control on the AC. UIS likes to flicker and bounce on and off. For an AC that needs 3 minutes to restart, that's the wrong answer. Went back to the Blueprint controller and all is well again on heat control




It's that time of year again so the other freak flag is out today. Rice today then next week we're going big game hunting in Tuscaloosa

I probably should've taken the clone machine out back and did a test run before loading it just to make sure it's working well. Been a few years since I've fired it up.
All I did was clean it up and replace it's old worn out pump with a new one and made a new standpipe on the 3D printer to fit the pump to manifold but no test run first.
Kinda feel like I'm getting lucky on this one without that test run with the lid off...It works function wise. Good spray.
The K4L cloning mix was bought in 2015-2016. I'm using that and RO water. I have no idea if the powder mix is still viable or not but I'm not buying any kind of cloning potions until that bag is empty.
After initial shock and wilt things are looking well




As posted above, I dropped some Texas Butter reggies



So this is the plan....

When roots set on the clones and the seedlings are up, this room is flipping to flower. 12/12 from clone and 12/12 from seed along with the already established 7 plants.
Basically a handful of testing some things and ideas on early flower with little veg development and seeing what I can get away with while also mixing in a little breeding project. After all, Haunted Banana is not going to make itself.

I'm finding my way with the Spectramax with higher power settings way out of balance compared to SS550. I'm gonna set it for 20-100 at flip and every week take the red up until it's at max power

Haunted Banana has been a long time coming. It's name is coming from it's two grandmas, Banana Kush and Ghost OG.
The Banana Kush used in Texas Butter was the same BK used by Ript for Ript Banana, one of my all time faves.
Ghost OG seeds has been a years long hunt. When I heard of Ghost Train Haze I figured it to be a candidate being Ghost OG x Nevilles Wreck (trainwreck x Nevilles Haze).
Out in Vegas I found several GTHs, all were great, and it became the choice. Few weeks later I have GTH seeds and now a collection of GTH ladies growing. All I need is a smidge of pollen from TXB to make this happen so hopefully there's a good stud in these six seeds. They are old seeds but have been stored well so we'll see. Knowing my luck they'll all be duds or all females. If so, I'll do it again with another unopened pack of TXB.
If it works, I'll turn right around and pop those Haunted Banana and see what I get out of it.

The Spectamax has had quite a learning curve to it for me. It's changed my approach to it after this latest spectrum adjustment. I kinda liken it to me driving a lambo around in 1st gear and wondering why it's not fast. Gotta open up that throttle and let it rip so that's what I did.
The red in this light is no joke and should be used with caution. The white is a haymaker but yeah that red is the one that needs to be brought up slowly it seems.
And yep there's a sunset/sunrise feature I have going. I set it for 15 minutes and it starts at 8% and climbs until 15 minutes later it's at max power setting.

I went madman my friend. The spectramax replaced only one SS550. So yeah I may have lost 450 watts but I added 1000 . Growers math 101, always go bigger.
The other two SS550 are ready for action while the third is on the bench for this round. Rather than subtract anything, I added. Both width and length of the grow space expanded from 3x9 to 4x10 and yeah there's light to spare now.
I have the spectramax on one side and the SS550 tandem on the other. If I truly find my groove with the max, I'll change that and have the max in the center bookended by a SS500 on each side of it

WVU will be alright. That state and school is in a transition right now. The school is getting away from worthless degrees that don't help it's graduates and more into trade and vocation where those degrees will have value in the state and help it's economic rebound.
The new Big 12 tv deal will help in the future but for right now and the next few years I'd say making a bowl game will be a good season and in a few years start contending for conference championships. Travel will be a reduced burden with more schools closer to WVU rather than it being an east coast outpost in the Big 12 as well.
On this side at Texas, dude, it's like we grow money on trees and have transitioned into something that looks more like NFL than college. Scouting dept, posh facilities, NIL deals for players with major brands like American Airlines, Wrangler, and Lamborghini. Yeah there's fucking lambos in the player parking lots these days. Arch Manning hasn't even played a down yet and auctioned off a 1 of a kind autograph card selling it for over $200K and donating 100% of it to a local kids hospital. It's like there's a line of people just waiting to throw money at our players.
And now we go to Tuscaloosa Saturday night. Holy fuck balls this will be nuts! Big boy ball for sure and it will not be for the weak or timid. As much as I love racing these days, it's games like this that still get my blood pumping. If we get this win, holy shit. The love and hate for Texas will get fever hot for the rest of the season. ESPN gameday will be there so it's gonna be an all day football fest starting at 8am and wrapping up around 11pm.

Well time to rub down that beef shank and get the smoker ready! Gonna set my alarm for around 3-4am Saturday morning, put on the smoker and go back to bed. By late afternoon we should be deep in Thors Hammer tacos!!!
Gotta check those seeds too and hopefully by Sunday, have some in dirt!

I did make good use of it, maybe I should have been smarter about dropping 10 seeds at a time. I have five autos starting flower and 9 more right on their tails. I'm trimming and trimming but I have to accept it's going to be a jungle in there for a while and it's only gonna get worse lol

I rarely watch qualifying and usually check the line up the morning of the race. Plus the NXS race was incredible so I was still riding high off watching that the next day.

Town turned upside down last night like it was 2006 and 2010 all over again and damn it felt good!

The hammer took so long I still haven't had a taco yet! It was at 180 after 15 hours at gametime and we can't eat during games like that so I pulled it off, let it cool, and put it in the fridge. I'll reheat in the oven later and see what I got
I'm about wiped out as can be but this party is still going today and probably into tomorrow as well.
Gonna plop on the couch, watch that NXS race and DVR then cup later...all the while having a big ass grin on my face!!!

Got sloppy with the paper being too thick and got some cross over. Nothing too bad though. Kinda like Sex Panther. 60% of the time it works 100% of the time
