True Confessions of an American Outlaw

About to watch an old Bombardier snow cat do a tug of war against Heady Ds off road Cybertruck🤣🤣

I'll post a video of it in a minute lol.
I couldn't get it to post even cutting it and downsizing it 5 times.

I'll figure it out and post it later lol. I screen recorded it lol

Anybody know why we need special glasses to see this on April 8th?

Because I don't get it
😜

And WTF is going on here for fucks sake?

I'm all for diversity and inclusion but gay porn in the driveway is just fucking weird😋

Only two left standing.
Not even sure what they are because I guess I forgot to tag them but they're sativa/haze phenos and dilly dallying around about ripening.
They smell like fabric softener.
So I did some defol and set them up under a ss550 to finish up.

Now comes the real fun part...Cleaning up 🥺😢😭🤬

please tell me those ev's aren't in your neighborhood? man, too many tires and not enough water to drink!!!! 😆

man your haul looks killer, is this really your biggest yield for that size room? good to see you got most of the work done already!!!

thats was just a crazy fast grow!!

Nah the EV's in my neighborhood are all white tesla sedans. It's kinda creepy how they all look the same too.

Mitsubishi is one automaker who if I had my way would not be sold in the US. This is one topic where I still hold a grudge in the name of my grandpa

IMG_6801.JPG

I don't have much from him after he passed away but I did keep the tags off his last car and I remember his stories from that day and WWII.
I know time has passed and we're pals with Japan now but still, the Zeros had Mitsubishi motors in them and I still can't get past it and the lifetime of nightmares those planes gave my gramps.
I even had a buddy in the Army who had an Eclipse and I refused to ride in it with him.

Well they're here!!! 🥳

IMG_6800.JPG

The Indy car is too big for the case and TBH, is nowhere near as cool as the #5.
It's not a Lionel and not as detailed...Kinda toy like really. But the #5 in liquid color is one sweet diecast! I thought the 17 would be liquid too but no
:
:
Yeah this yield bested my best to date. Not by much but I got validation that two 2 and a half footer plants will equal the yield of one 5 footer and actually have better grade quality coming off the lower canopy.
Where it will really excel is annual yields. I'll go from doing 3.7 grow per year to 5.7. A full two more harvests annually is all kinds of awesome.
Even better is what I've sampled so far is way better than anything in my stash right now. No way I can smoke a full joint of this Gorilla Butter so I've been hitting my bong and pipe with it.
I'm kinda seeing this as switching from a regular cattle rancher to farming veal😋

You see this yet? Reddick stopped by the Longhorn Racing Team garage a couple weeks ago!!!

I hold grudges~! :cautious:
Never owned a foreign vehicle besides a Volvo [ford owned them then]~!

That is wicked about increased yield.
What do you think would be the result of doing sativas with no veg.
I am dying to but not sure if it is a waste or if it just means the usual extended flower phase.

Man you going back to same spot as last year at COTA~!
That corner seems so cool~!

It wasn't until a few years ago I loosened my grip on American made autos shopping for trucks. It was between a Ford Maverick and Toyota Tacoma, couple city trucks I know, but the Mav felt cheaply made and plastic while the Taco had some meat on it's bones so I went with the Taco and love the dang thing. But yeah before that I owned USA made except for a stint driving a Nissan Pathfinder

Well I have this pair of sativa leaning phenos and they sure have been ez to manage not being monster bushes but yeah flower times are still the same across the board. 8-10 weeks on indicas and hybrids and probably 10-12 on sativa leaning hybrids. Full sativa like a landrace I'd bet a minimum of 14 weeks to flower. I defoled these two and have them in high 60 degree temps trying to tell them "Hey, Winter's here so hurry the fuck up!" 😋

Yeah I be loving my perch up on the hill!!! Tempted to renew it for 2025 already!

i had a 92 pathfinder... it was badass!! i now drive an xterra... both made in tennessee!! :D

i was a hard ass growing up.. all american and nothing else. i guess it mattered more back then, now parts for GM ford dodge.. every single part is imported from some other country and assembled here.. well damn so is nissan toyota honda and the rest of em.. hard for me to see a difference anymore.

man that is so awesome you sill have your grandpas plate!!!! here in PA we can re-register old plates and use them on our current cars. my buddy has an authentic 76 plate on his 76 firebird.

cars look sweet man, i didn't know the indy car was gonna be bigger, i thought they were the same size. same scale right? they're not that much bigger in real life.. what gives??? i ordered mine through fanatics.com so who knows when i'll get them. i was hoping hendrics would send out my koozie right away but it looks like they'll wait till the 69 camaros are in..

i'm sure you're already smelling some race fuel and burning tires today so make sure you get some ganja smoke mixed in!!!!!!!!!

man i forgot reddick won there last year.... he's already hard to beat without having confidence!!

Test smoking some fast dry Straight Jacket and whoooohooo is it gassy nostril burn and potent!!😶‍🌫️

Yeah these days cars are pretty much an international collaboration. Core parts seem to be Hecho In Mexico then assembled here. Most of the trains I see going thru town have long train cars with chassis, body panels, cabs, or motor crates stacked up coming from South and heading North.
Major appliances are probably the only thing I still hold out to be American made. Just the thought of a Samsung appliance makes me gag a little. And I'm still particular about my grow lights being made in USA but I think the diodes are from Germany.

Yeah the Indy car is 1:18th and is a couple inches longer so it won't fit in a 1:24 case. IDK why they don't do them all in 1:24 and not sure why Lionel doesn't do Indi. Probably some sort of licensing thing.
But the box they came in is super sweet! Looks like a Hendricks custom box then the two car boxes inside it.
Yep Fanatics can be all kinds of wonky. I ordered that 2 car case from them and I wanted the Hendricks #5 version. They sent the SHR #4 version.🤬 Took them like a month to ship my new Gragson hat. Sucks they're the official store of NASCAR and is why I try to go direct to the teams or wait to visit a hauler at the track.
My other go-to for diecast and new stuff is RacingUSA. They guarantee lowest price so most cars I get are about $5-$10 less than Fanatics

Watching trucks turn some laps now on FS1. Absolutely gorgeous weather in store for this weekend and I cant wait to get out there tomorrow morning!! I shoulda called in sick today so I could be there now :ROFLMAO:

This from @NASCARCASM this morning about COTA Turn1 was internet gold😋

In Ny you use a plate like you say.
It just has to be the year of the car.
Got a 1955 whatever you can put an 1955 plate on it if you find one. Has to be NY plate here.

Fantastic on the Straight Jacket~!
Enjoy your weather and the race.
Winter storm warning here~!
On the edge of 6-10 and 10-16 inches of snow before tomorrow night~!
I'll be test driving some smoke and watching the races for sure~!

That's a clear sign it's time to move closer to the equator. 😋

I tried my usual " I appreciate the offer but no thank you" but I don't think mother nature heard me.
My next effort was going to be this 🖕.

While I agree with the "fuck all that" statement, you will not get me to move from the North East, in fact I want to move further north lol.
If canada wasn't fkd too I'd consider moving to northern Saskatchewan...

ya see there is part of our brain that tells u that it's too cold and we should move only problem is that section of our brain is frozen!!!! hahaha

kinda the opposite for you, the section that says it's too hot move away is all boiled up and evaporated!!!! 😆😆

.

man what a race today!!!!!!!! did you guys have fun?

.

ya know i think we bought different diecast sets for the indy car, i was looking at my order and both cars are 1:64th... that's the size i normally buy the 64th, matchbox car size...

.

so out of all your new harvests which strain lit you up the most? and which one tasted the best? any difference in normal dryed to the new dryer that you notice?

This reminds me to purchase some more bags, thanks. I like the Die-Cast, hopefully they are a good investment or inheritence.

I'm the exact opposite. I live life like a Jimmy Buffet song and if I'm not within a half day drive from the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico I'd hate it. In fact when we're up for retirement we may sell our home and opt for South Texas island life.
Flip flops and frozen cocktail weather, ass in the sand and toes in the water. 🌴 ⛱️

In fact I'm kinda getting the itch to get back to the island this Summer!

We had such a blast dude. I love how that track tests every single part of a race team. The cars, drivers, pit crews, strategies all get the shit kicked out of them by that track. Everything is a challenge and it's a course where if you win it was earned.
24 was just dominant again this week. Bell was a Kyle killer yesterday but yeah, nobody was catching those two unless they wrecked or broke their rides.

Here's our total view of that spot. It's so relaxing up there and my wife was spot on when she described it as being zen like when we had a bass boat and would just go chill out on a lake getting a line wet.
Spotters are so close they could get a contact high off my spliff but yeah great views of Big Red thru turn 2, a glimpse of the road past the S's, back stretch straight away, some parts and the exit of the stadium section and thru the carousel then the front stretch back to 1

Wife got to meet The Taco Man and we added another diecast to the collection

IMG_0566.JPG

But yeah all of my diecasts are the big 1/24 size but the other 99 and 8 for my wife are the matchbox size.

I haven't tested out all the strains yet but so far Platinum Frosting is the leader in the clubhouse. Pure fire. I rolled a joint for the race Saturday and finally finished it last night. Gorilla Butter and Straight Jacket are high up too.
Once again GPS simply delivered on some outstanding genetics and every one of them is home run quality that checks every box. I'm betting the squish will be my most epic runs too.
I won't get into it too much because the changes have been so radical and different, tailor made to my taste, but yep I prefer everything I've done this grow over anything I've done in the past and that very much includes quick dry and fast cure in a UV blocker jar then bagged.
I'm basically growing and smoking my best pot to date.🥰

did you see grove bags is selling rolls for a vacuum sealer now?

I saw that email this morning and though Hmmmm.
I replenished my bags with a stack of flag bags a couple weeks ago but I may give those a try sometime. I do like it being a roll for custom sized bags. That's a great idea by them!

So I just saw something in the Crossgates mall parking lot that I just felt like you would've laughed and pointed at 🤣🤣

A Tesla with big 22" rims, a wide body kit, spoiler and the license plate read "Jo Biggs"

🤣😅😂

Too bad it didn't have a lime green wrap and fake exhaust pipe on it🙃
Next time you see it tell that guy if he wants to live that slab life he needs a set of Swangas on that POS EV

Thanks man. The diecasts are just eye candy and I'm not sure if they really have any kind of value beyond that. Kinda like Elvis plates people were hanging on the walls of the kitchen back in the 80s. Everybody thought yeah Elvis plates area great investment. Today, nobody wants a dang Elvis plate 😋

i sure like to visit the beach, i'd never want to live there though.

good to hear you had a fun time!! the weather looked awesome! any armadillo racing? 🤘

larson sucked it up so i wasn't into it as much, looked like hell on the drivers. saw a few get out of the cars and go straight to the ground. i think it was corey lajoy asked for a ride to get an iv..

i think there might be a few tempers rubbed up this weekend, nothing like following it up a richmond to really piss guys off!!! hehehe

.

so with your results and savings i assume you will be running the no veg again next round. any changes planned at all? like still gonna flip at fourth node? same size containers? light? i know you mentioned something about the ceramics.. i still have those specialized 315w bulbs you sent me if you would want those back, i know you mentioned those a few pages back but didn't know how serious you were.

my next run is gonna be for a couple friends. my buddy and his brother want to grow outdoors again, i gave him a couple plants late in the year last summer and they caught the growin bug and wanna try a bunch more this year and early.. so i said i would start them a dozen plants. i still have bud from my last perpetual harvest and almost the entire last harvest and now i just had another harvest now.. you know how it is!! haha
so i figured i had enough that i could skip a whole veg run and help them out.

i still have the clones from the mainliner tops and i'm not sure what to do with them yet, theyre smaller than the mainliners so the timing doesn't match up to try to squeeze a couple in, it's too cold to put em outside here. i might try to keep a few as moms and maybe take cuttings for a small crop in my poly tunnel this summer.

Yeah just try no-veg out and see how it goes for you. I think you'll be surprised.
Stacking harvests FTW!!! Just when you think you've stacked enough, stack some more!!! I tell ya I'm loving my new fresh harvest way more than what's left of my past two especially with much of the last one being pollinated.

I'm so wiped out from the weekend bro I'm still bewildered how I'm even awake right now.
I bet the drivers had it rough. I used some spf 50 sunblock and for some reason am looking like Richard Dreyfus from Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind when he got hit with alien light!

I'm not changing a whole lot but do have some things planned and ideas about how to do it better.
First off yeah, I'm not gonna veg again unless it's to get clones. I've seen enough now to not go back.
I always sucked at vegging anyways and often had to fix plants before I could flip to flower. I feel like my game is best with germinating and getting sprouts off to great starts and flowering. I feel like an A+ doing those but grade myself a C+ growing vegging plants so I just wanna do what I do best and flip at 4 nodes/15 days old, whichever comes first.

The arrangement of plants coulda been better. I had early ripening plants in the back row and they shoulda been in the front row for ez access.
The Pulse is showing me I can add another row of plants and go 4 rows deep in the center of the footprint but maybe not 10 wide. Maybe just go 9 wide, not sure yet.
The footprint looks like a 5'x5' space bookended by two 3x3 spaces and not a true 4x10 rectangle using the Spectramax.
If I'm using all 3 ss550s then it's a 3x9 footprint which I may have to do when it's hot. CMH will come into play when I tinker with ripening spectrums and I still have those lamps too.

I'm locked in on the adjusted size of airpots and the 3.84 gallon final containers, the C2000s from Nursery Supply. Those were homerun moves. I don't see how they can be improved.

Stonington is perfect for me and no need to look further on soils or amend it. And the Neptunes Harvest nutes worked fantastic. I'll still combine Great White w/ King Crab so no changes to that routine.

The watering rig was another homerun. Maybe it could use a better switch attached to the wand but it's worked awesome and it was super ez to water this grow.
The no ro water was another huge homerun over the fences. Filtered just enough to be super clean but zero waste unlike RO

I will change out the fans for the Gen 2 upgrades and also rig something up to better cool the heat output of the Spectramax.
Also, since the spectramax has faded out the posters and art on the walls, the room will get an aesthetic makeover and this may have been the last grow with the hammered aluminum on the walls. Not that it's a problem or anything but I have some different ideas about the walls and will welcome change of scenery there

I may dabble with some topping of plants. The plants that branch out early will not be topped but those that don't, some will be topped. I wanna experiment with that for sure

🤞Dip-N-Stix🤞

None of mine looked like the GPS poster girl but she sure does reminds me a lot of when Grand Daddy Purple was a clone only strain in the San Francisco Bay Area. The sticky factor is off the charts with her and has kind of a cat vomit like aroma. I have'nt set it on fire yet though

oh i'll be taking your lead on this and no vegging soon!!! in fact i'm gonna get a small taste of it soon enough, i plan to flip the mainliners soon and they will be at around four vertical nodes. i won't get any savings but i would get a taste of how lots of small plants compare to six big ones.

i'm just not sure i have the light coverage to do it though. if your meter is telling you that the ss550's are a 3x3 coverage then thats what mine are too and maybe i shouldn't be using the 4-5 inches of the front and back of my 45" cabinet. both lights being in there i'll get the full 45" left to right. maybe i should just keep it to three rows and not four. i know i could just buy a meter to tell for sure but honestly if i'm gonna spend $400 it will just be another light not a meter. 😆

but i'm gonna find out soon, i now have four rows in there!!! i was just thinking, maybe i can fill in that extra row with the SS275? not sure if it would fill it in though, be better yeah, but not perfect... i know i know, get a meter!!! hahahaha

.
that's really awesome your new water setup worked better!! will you have to change filters out between grows or do they last longer than that?
i kinda forgot that you were even testing that new setup..

.

yea man those two brothers got the bug for sure!!! i didn't really realize how much they liked it till a few weeks ago when they came to me and said they wanna go bigger this year.. i said yeah?!?!?! how big?? they were like four each!! they wanna each grow the same and compete a little, ya know brothers!! haha i said i'll start ya two each of six different kinds and they're eyes lit up and they got all pumped!! so they were here on wednesday and i busted out the vault and let them pick the six strains and i'll start them two of each strain. i want to have them ready for may 14th that's our safe date for plants not freezing. we can gamble before that but i've been burned to many times so i normally wait. so i'm gonna start germinating this week. i just want them nice and strong for them to start out with and have a fighting chance with nature.

and he's my master auto mechanic so i'll get uber repair points for this and it's will only cost me like $50 in seeds!!! win/win!!!

I attacked no veg by doing a side grow within a long veg grow. It was the breeding project where I took clones of GTH and stuck them in an earthbox while I also popped 5 TxB seeds late and stuck them into 12/12 at about ten days old.
Having 3 lights made it ez to arrange one to be lower and hover above the no veg.
I highly recommend doing something similar to that just to find out if it is possible and you have the light to do it. I'm fairly sure you do but I've also seen plenty of no veg fails so you never know for sure until it's tried out. If it does fail then at least it's not a whole crop cycle that comes up short and you learn a little about how much veg you do require.
If in your regular growing you get some prolific growth and stretch after flipping then I believe you can reduce veg time by a lot if not completely do away with it. But if there's not mad crazy growth between flip and pistils showing then you'll need to veg to get that growth before flipping

I think the ss550s can be stretched out to around a 40"x40" footprint but yeah comes up short on the full 48x48 and of course it is kinda oval unless it's hung high. I think ideally it should be between 24 and 30 inches above the tops when it's at full power

I plan on taking more light readings with the lights by themselves and I'll share that with you so you don't need the meter.

Yeah on my water filter I plan on changing filters between every grow. I think that's only like around $22 for all three filters so it's nothing major like a new RO membrane which can be anywhere between $30 and $90

Speaking of outdoor grows....I was out mowing the backyard today and found a couple volunteers growing up near the fence line.

This next series of tests were done with two DipNStix plants. Samples were taken from upper and lower parts of each plant, random flowers from around the same area of each plant, not colas.
The samples were then isolated. One set of samples hung dry in open air and the other samples dried in the Herb Now Dryer

This last test was done on a flower that got it's tip bleached. Sample was taken from the bleached area and another from lower down on the bud where it had not been bleached

Seems like the dryer does what it said.(y)
It makes the herb better or the same faster than other methods.
Nice haul and great results there.
God Bless America~! 🫡
