How much you want to bet when he closes the door it'll have a large green cross on it?!?

I'm telling you, after Vegas, he's aiming to open his own dispensary!!🤣

He's gonna start out opening up a booth at every NASCAR race in the country.

This way he gets to write off the travel expenses and gets to see every race for that season!!

if only!!!!!!!! if that happened i'd be the first employee application he gets!!!!! i'd even learn how to spin a sign like a pro!!!!

nah something tells me those cold drinks in his fridge are gonna come in handy when he's putting in 15 hour work shifts in triple digit heat and no time to sneak away and grab a smoke... chug a cold ganja drink!!!! :)

Now that I look at it, maybe I should audition for that reality show about hoarders? 😋

You know it!!!🥴
I'm also thinking about mixing a bottle of Loud in with a Caribbean jerk or Polynesian BBQ sauce and get high off BBQ.👨‍🍳
I already used some of the infused hot sauce on some hog wings for 'High on the Hog Wings" but I was already pretty fucked up and not sure if they got me more high or anything😋

I got one of the Vivos in and I think I'm good on air now. I ordered two Vivos but will keep the other as a spare or if I find a dead zone.
This one is set for vertical operation. I ended up having to use set screws on the fan and pole to prevent it from spinning back down off balance and that did the trick to keep it in position.

Printed out some wall mount cradles for the remotes.
The ceiling fan is just all kinds of #upgrade. It went from a pull cord 3 speed clunker with no light to a remote controlled 6 speed reversible wind machine with variable lighting that both dims and changes kelvin temp

GTH is in the house!!!

Blast off!!!!!! ahhh yeah!!! time to make the donuts!!!

are those the same size airpots i used in my current grow. the 7.5" red bottoms? i still have the old generation with only the top row solid and i didn't know if they changed dimensions at all.

and bro that video of your fans sounds like a tornado in a trailer park!!! had the subs all flappin on the audio!!!! hahahaha

and those newer DC ceiling fans are pimp!! we hung an eight footer in my buddies garage earlier this year and it works great with the remote with the 18 foot ceiling!!! super quiet too, timers and the whole bit... way better than the old school power robbing chain gangs like i still have in my house!

forecast looks hazy for the next few months!!!

I forgot to pick up a jug of spring water yesterday so when I got ready to drop beans I was like "Shit. I forgot something kinda important in all this" So I gotta go get my jug of water in a few. Minor delay on the launch pad.🤦‍♂️

These are the old trusty orange bottom jobs! There's a few newer generation pots in my supply but most are still the original I've been using for 10 years now. I have lots of reds too but have been so locked in using the orange I always roll with 'em.

That tornado is the new ceiling fan! I heard that too and was like WTF? Those small fans are all on middle speed then I realized I was standing under the ceiling fans when I took the video. For only being a 20" it's a pocket hercules.
I saw they make the same fan in a 52" size and will order it plus another 22" for the laundry room. Just a bummer they're back at regular price and not the prime day price but these fans are baddass. Super ez to install compared to other ceiling fans too.

@Bandit420 did you figure out your plant count for the new set up. I was not happy with Sundays results. #11 was dirty IMO, and I was not alone.

I'm gonna go with lucky 7. I could push it to 9 but I've given myself some space to get to the back wall just in case I need to for something.
6 plants will be in the big tray and 1 outside the tray.

No penalties though so NASCAR says all good. I think they're so desperate for a new rivalry like they had with Earnhardt and Gordon they see it with Larson and Hamlin and want to cultivate that which they can't by suspending or taking points away so it looks like those two might have a little leeway in the rules most other drivers don't get. Well, unless their name is Bubba;)

Trackhouse Racing has Project 91
NASCAR & Hendricks have Garage 56

So being inspired and wanting to have a little fun in this new bigger space, I've got a little side show too...

Project 421:alien:

IMG_5257.JPG

It all started with a bucket set to be tossed out because it has a crack in the bottom and another translucent bucket I thought would be cool to use for something.
The good thing is I don't have to dig up another tray or saucer for the plant outside the big tray now. No tray required for this little 'droskie project

damn that's a net pot and three quarters right there!!!!

damn that's a net pot and three quarters right there!!!!

That netpot is full of all kinds of huge ambition!
I can't remember why I got those, I have two, but it sure makes a great strainer for rinsing all that hydroton that's been sitting in a bag in the backyard for the past five years.:ROFLMAO:

I'm not sure if I'll use the black bucket insert now.
I have this 10" bucket basket too

IMG_5260.JPG

The trade off is the 3 gallon bucket gives me a lot more medium. Probably 30% more. But it also decreases the amount of nutrient solution in the bottom bucket reservoir.

If I use the 10" basket, I get less medium but more rez capacity. Catch 22 here.
If only the 3 gallon bucket was about 3 inches shorter or the net basket about 3 inches deeper.

More supplies for Project 421 came today

And I'm working on custom sized air lift powered drip rings now. This is gonna be more drip irrigation than DWC and will be semi organic.

ah yeah, we're gonna get bud porn and root porn this round!!!!!!!!

.
.
so i have the three little bears with the airpots here, last round the 1 liter aircell was too small, this round the red bottom was too big for me to get good roots by eight weeks so maybe the orange bottoms are just right... the orange is the one size i don't have. i know you said you had a lot but if you're ever in need i drew one up... match's my new screws!! :)

so next round i'm gonna give this size a try and see if it fill out with roots better than the bigger ones. i bet i lost a third of the soil when i opened those red bottoms up to transplant. i'm sure i unintentionally tore some roots doing it so i'd like them filled out more but not over stuffed like the smaller black bottoms.

only i printed them in neon green, not orange...

.
i get to use the new koosie this sunday!!! i have the 4 this weekend in the pool!! saw you have the 12, he'll probably win cuz i had him last week when i had once again the worst driver of the week!!! hahaha if you wanna win just look at my sheet and then pick all the drivers i picked but one week later, you'll win!! hehe

go 4 & 5!!!!

I actually think the perfect size is right between red and orange. I may take that screen and resize it to be that middle size then cut down some reds to fit. But yeah I probably have around 8-10 orange bottom and a shit load of reds. So many I lost count. One of those scores where the shop had them on clearance so I bought the whole inventory. Also have a couple black, green, and yellow bottoms and a few starter size pots.

I settled on orange because they're perfect for Earthboxes but these days I would like an extra inch or two in diameter. Height is fine and infact I like the older shorter version which yep has two top rows of closed nipples instead of one row. Maybe by next grow I'll have the midsize ready to go. I'll print them in pink PETG 😋

Project 421 is coming to life. 👽

Making a new ring channel now with a half cover to eliminate that spitting and the new version will have small holes to start then bigger towards the end of the ring. Also bumping the size from 135mm to 150mm wide. Looks like I also need to reduce the height on the lift tube.

View attachment IMG_5279.MOV

Getting closer! I may have to scrap the idea of having them be channels instead of rings though. Air lifts are simply spitters!

View attachment IMG_5285.MOV

The final version is within reach!

double trouble.png

2 Oreoz S1 and 2 Frozen Custards are in the dirt. 100% on Greenpoint gear
2 of 3 GTH have popped. One for dirt and the other for Project421 but I still went ahead and dropped 4 more seeds for backups to replace the dud and if any of these are mutants. The fresh drop is 4 days behind the others but I'd rather have a couple plants a half week behind than be short 1 or more plants at harvest

Well I did mention I needed more outlets.....

View attachment 16365

😜🤪🥸
Wow, it shouldn't be too hard to over load that if you try:rolleyes:......I have space issues with timers and transformers taking up entire power bars with just 2 outlets being used. That sucker there would leave lots of spaces left available....I've never seen one with so many plugs on it.......Man I could melt that thing into a puddle with the right load, it looks like a #16 wire to it......somewhere around 30 amps should do....lol.... 😁😁😁

i thought the one i had was breaking fire code but that thing is even bigger than the foot warmer under my desk!!!

DSCN0873.JPG

so what were you planning on controlling with the infinity outlet? that was the one accessory i thought i could use if i bought a controller. do you know if vivosun offers an outlet like that? i would only use it for my exhaust and replace my non digital with it but not necessary, my non digital works great.

your drip rings look awesome man, in fact i like the whole project!... airlift is uber cool, really reminds me of the compost tea maker i made, that air lifted sludge to mix and aerate it. i need to revisit that project one day because a couple years ago i picked up some cool conical jugs to use in to make it better.

i'm new to the whole drip ring game, are the holes normally on the bottom? i put mine in the top, maybe i bass ackwards on that one.

and man both you and Moe are cracking me up with your pink filament threats.... why do you guys even have pink filament?? haha

i can say i don't think airpot will ever offer those!! Although it would be very cool if it was breast cancer awareness shade pink, i'd grow in those for sure!!! i forget which company but i saw somebody sold that shade, i think it was just pla.

added another feature to your germinator, put bumps on the top corners of the cover and dimples in the base to keep it locked closed. the only thing left to do is test it putting wet paper towels in it and making sure it stays closed. i'll test and correct that if needed tomorrow night...

DSCN0872.JPG
but man i couldn't resist... you gotta see one of the baddest VG on the market today....

back in black!!!!!!!!!!

DSCN0871.JPG

i'm not sure if it's bad luck to put a shitty team on a VG... might be really bad juju and just for a conversation model piece!!!!

i think for the real thing i'll roll with something like this....

have a great weekend man!!! good luck in the race pool!!!!!!!

It would be better if the housing was steel and the outlets made of ceramic but if I want that I think I'll have to build it.
Growers had to that back in the day, running several 4 outlet boxes daisy chained and mounted on a sheet of plywood. And then use a hot water heater water timer for the lights. Old school but those set ups were durable!

This job can handle almost 1900 watts and 15amps. I mostly need it for space and not load so I doubt I'm over 200 watts on it. If it burns up on less than 200 watts then it's the biggest piece of junk power strip ever! And that's saying something because there's some widow makers out there!☠️
That's the same exact outlet I've been thinking about ordering. I have another with a few less outlets but it has a green light that might interfere with lights out.

Dude, I have so many little lights on it looks like Christmas during lights out. 🎄I do have a piece of tape over a big red one though 😉

Those nubs area game changer bro!!! I find this filament wears with friction and they start off snug but after a few uses I need a rubber band to keep them closed. Nubs are the perfect solution!

I think the bigger question here is why don't YOU have any pink filament?😜
But not only do I have pink filament. I have hot pink PETG filament! 🤪So yeah I'm gonna have hot pink dripper rings!🙃

Fire codes? I think you mean fire prevention suggestions🔥

I got an outlet for everything now! Even the drill battery and pool vacuum since it's USB!
And before Y'all ask...Yes I have a pool vac to clean my water barrel when sediment falls to the bottom of it.
Also plenty of space for the work lights and those UIS outlets.

Speaking of those...IDK man. They work and all but I'm just used to a different type of grow room control.
ACI is good at some things and others just seem awkward and designed by people who don't grow. Like there's features that are not needed, just there as xtras, and then incomplete features on what you do need and use. I need to deep dive it more but so far I'm not sure.
It's very basic, so for the most basic single step task it's fine but if you want more complexity you'll want to look elsewhere.
As far as the UIS plug goes, IMO, smart plugs are better in every way. Smart plugs are wireless, these are not, and smart plug apps like alexa are way better than anything this controller and the ACI app could ever do. And smart plugs are cheaper!

I have two UIS plugs. One turns on the big light cooling fan and it's mover. It's set on a 90*F trigger. Very simple one trigger task.
The other UIS plug I just got is for fresh air intake and that's where I'm not liking it because of it's limits.
So I want this plug to turn on at 85*F but only turn on during the hours between 11pm and 6am but I think it can only do one thing..turn on at 85, turn on at 11pm, or turn off at 6am but not all three. A simple analog thermostat plugged into an analog timer can do this task but not this "smart controller" it seems. I could be wrong and am missing something but I don't think so.
There's other little things too...Like it would be nice to change the name of the ports like we can on the CLW controller programs. Instead of "Port 1" I'd like put in cooling, heating, left fans, right fans, intake... just so it's more personalized and user friendly.
Not being able to oscillate the fans via app or controller is another miss.
And all these cords!!! Holy crap dude you know that Beach Boys song "Two Girls For Every Guy"? Yeah I'm always singing "Two cords for every faaannnnn"

So I've got some gardening stuffs happening. Y'all may notice a little particular something...

IMG_5302.JPG

IMG_5300.JPG

Finally decided this is how I'd veg my hydro plant.
Combo of wick & dwc...AKA Emily's Garden tech.
3D printed PETG rez, lid & netcup.
Honeycomb grid in bottom of rez for under plant circulation
Air tube downstem eliminates need for an airstone so it makes large bubbles and sounds like a bong, not a light fizz
semi-organic bloom nute run. No grow or veg nutes

The lid came out weird so I'm printing another today.
If this works, a window will open.
There's some ideas here that go back to when I started the cucumbers in the paper lined net pots. And then later, no bees around so I used the Be The Bee tool to pollinate those cukes.
An idea came to light that my grow room could be a 24/7 365 room alternating ganja and exotic food crops.
To do this, the logical method to grow the food crops would be hydroponics. Premium soils would be expensive and I'm not gonna risk cheap soils that might have bugs. Most everything I use for organic ganja farming is kinda high end but worth it for a cash crop. Spending $200 on soil to grow $40 worth of Persian cukes would be silly.
And if I'm gonna do some hydro, it's gonna be as close to organic as possible and also be low sodium diet.
So I'm in the trial runs in this figuring if it will grow pot, it will grow anything

Ingredients for the soup. Not shown is the can of microherds.
I'm using regular tap water for the hydro. Drawn at least 24 hours before using and aerated. 150ppm off the tap.
So yeah, no RO in the hydro, it gets the cheap stuff, plus that 'Nova plays so good with my tap I might be able to send those jugs of pH adjuster back.
And I'm not using a pH meter. The 3 drop test kit is good enough for the lady I run with

IMG_5306.JPG

So I want this plug to turn on at 85*F but only turn on during the hours between 11pm and 6am but I think it can only do one thing..turn on at 85, turn on at 11pm, or turn off at 6am but not all three.
So I'm not sure what controller you're using and all of it's functions, but with the 69 pro, you can set automations. Choose the time frame and temp/humidity settings and let 'er rip. I use two UIS plugs, one for the heater and one for the humidifier. Different settings for lights on vs. lights off.

My only issue is that it can only be programmed to the minute, so between 5:59 and 6:00, nothing runs, and again between 6:00 and 6:01. 2 cycles set 6am-6pm and 6:01pm-5:59am

Yeah I'm getting the hang of some of the features and what they can do but the app is being very wonky for me. Looks like it's more about sensitivity on my touchscreen and app buttons are out of whack. Just a matter of exactly where to touch to make a button work otherwise it acts like it's dead and not a button at all.

Well...Nothings dead yet so something must be working right! Right? 🙃
I've got the light at 20% and the first day I wasn't even sure if that was right or if it's at the right height. I'm pretty much just guessing and watching these babies to say what to do next. I could use the PAR meter but fuck that...I'm gonna use plants as my par meter on this one.🧐

They're alive so that's good. They're not stretching thin so that's good.
Got 3 weirdies I'm not sure about but now that there's so many I have some babies to spare if those 3 go tits up or mutate. Probably shoulda seen this coming woring with Rare Dankness seeds. I swear if you like a RD cut, better drop 3 seeds for every plant you want. Not sure why, might just be luck, but that's always been my experience with RD. Great weed but damn hard to get to it.
Two seem to be just runts maybe and one may not have developed true first leaves. Hard to tell as it's only a day old so far.
The 'dro is working so that's good.

Room is running very warm right now. 106 outside and I refuse to run the AC in the g/room so it's high 80s and low RH right now.
All is well, just gotta keep an eye on that moisture. Things dry up quick in this weather.
The dro lost about 8oz overnight and the airpots are already on their second watering in a week. Usually at this stage they'd get one watering every 7-10 days so yep I'm running hot here early on. But they're young and I haven't met seedling yet that doesn't like a little warmth underfoot. If they were in full bloom that AC would be on

I've loved it so far. My first grow has been relatively stress-free and hands-off and the 69 is a big part of that.
