Ive yet to slowly decreased my hours when going to flower.5x5 going to flower
16hours to 14 hours for a week and then down to 12 hours after a week or two of 14hrs
I've set the timer to 9pm-11am for tonights light cycle
GotchaIve yet to slowly decreased my hours when going to flower.
Ive got a schedule that seems to work great for me and havent messed with it since lol. Would like to try sometime tho.
6am-12am for veg
12pm-12am for flower.
Then my 2x2 runs 6pm-6am to try and keep my electrical usage down.
Ks3000 in a 5x5....is this decent for bigger plants or only really recommended for the solo cup? I been looking at a ks5000 for my 5x5 but I run full size plants.Ive been dialing in my water and nutrient usage
Don't need the bottoms to be healthy if they are going to get lollipopped anyways, is my thinking
, Waste of nutes for them to be green.
And they can use that energy up top
Ah....I don't agree with that...all green and healthy is much better imho than ill bottoms.....if its taking nutes from lower leaves then you ain't feeding it enough....I hate seeing that in my plants......My plants in the auto pots are feed crazy....I've been giving 6 pots 3 gallons of food per day just to keep liquid in my reservoir....and.....there is no water cycle...all food all the time.....they love it........showing me I've been under feeding my soil based plants with a religious water/ feed/ water/ feed cycle. I was afraid of locking them up with back to back feeding.... soil / promix but they can take it without a problem...Little Shop of Horrors .....Feed Me....lolIve been dialing in my water and nutrient usage

I've not been able to turn it all the way upKs3000 in a 5x5....is this decent for bigger plants or only really recommended for the solo cup? I been looking at a ks5000 for my 5x5 but I run full size plants.
Curious your thought on it since you've used the ks3000
300w is plenty for flowering....I've 3 - 300w Spiderfarmer lights ( 2 SE3000 + 1 G3000 )....2 in my 5x5 I also have an sf600 at the front to give me a bit more coverage.....A 300w is a perfect fit in a 3x3......I think I could fit 4 of the 300w in my 5x5 but I don't need a full tent.I've not been able to turn it all the way up
But that could because of other bottlenecks
Airflow, CO2 replenishment, root zone, etc.
So far it's pretty cool for the 5x5.
May not be too adequate for flower as it's only 300w but it seems a pretty decent light and spectrum so far.

yea ive not used autopots yetI'm new to these auto pots and unsure on how to feed I went with how I feed in promix...same numbers per gallon which for me have always been balanced 2/2/2/....3/3/3/.....5/5/5/ml/ gal until flowering 5/5/6...5/4/7.........which is where I'm at now, next week 5/4/10 and going through 3 gal a day it seems........in promix they got 1 feed a week but can obviously take far more...I have had deficiencies in promix grows in the past I'd just shrug off and pretend I didn't see it.....no more I'm going to feed them more often in flower when they need it most.....and hope some of the leaf issues go away....
It has a reservoir and pots with float valves so the water only gets1 " deep and the roots suck that water/food. I've 2" of clay balls on the bottom of the pots with 50/50 promix perlite above + additives....its an ebb and flow system...like trees, their roots search for water below. I've 6 linked with 1 res.yea ive not used autopots yet
maybe sounds like, more frequent watering, smaller amounts may benefit you ?
im not aware of youre current setup ill have to check ur thread.
