Song about weed from a feller who used to live on my street 🙃

Song seems like one of those Napster hits that's mislabeled it don't sound much like DAC

But I've listened to this song for decades now, this version...be cool to know whoever made it...hell maybe they singing about your shit haha

Green as a bullfrog sticky as glue, cannagranny do you get hi? Yes I do

Yeah I live in a neighborhood that was pretty much ground zero of the Austin music scene in the 70's, 80, and 90s. Tghere's still some old reminders of it but it's been razed and gentrified by yuppies who ran off all the old cowboy hippies that made this place what it is.
DAC was living on this street when I moved in. Guy Forsyth played backyard parties as well as Eric Johnson and with him would come other guitar greats like Stevie Vai. The biggest name of all was Stevie Ray Vaughn and he once live about a 1/4 mile from my spot on the street my wife grew up on. Every now and then we'd hear Willie Nelson was around but never saw him or made it to those parties. Back in the day you might even hear Linda Ronstadt and going back even further, Janis Joplin before she moved to San Francisco. Hard to believe but she was actually ran off from here and booed off stages before she hit big on the West Coast.
